Chapter 35
Chapter 35: I Have Little Uncle Here. I Have Nothing to Be Afraid Of
“Is it any good to be worthy of you?” Tan Mo asked seriously. “By looking up to you, can you help our classmates improve their grades and become good students? Or can you guarantee that the Qin family can help their family? If you don’t like them, like you don’t like me, will you make the Qin family target the Tan family and give the Tan family a difficult time?”
The students behind Qin Muxiao exchanged looks.
Although it felt like anything was wrong, it sounded reasonable.
“I’m not questioning you.” Tan Mo waved her hand with an innocent look. “I’m just asking out of curiosity. If so, Qin Muxiao, you are so amazing!”
Clearly, Tan Mo’s face was full of admiration, but Qin Muxiao was still furious.
Why did the esteem on Tan Mo’s face look like derision? She dared mock her in front of their classmates?
When their classmates heard this, they thought, ‘Could it be that Tan Mo was a really nice girl despite coming from a family with a humble background?’
But right after that, they heard Tan Mo saying, bewildered, “Huh? That’s not right. If that’s the case, why has my family been doing well even up to now? Why didn’t you let the Qin family teach my family a lesson or two?”
Qin Muxiao noticed the skeptical gazes of her classmates, as if they were taunting her for bragging.
“You are all so stupid!” Qin Muxiao was irritated by their gazes and began to bluff brazenly.
She pointed to Tan Mo, then said loudly, “This is the first time I have seen someone who thinks her own family needs some educating! Your family isn’t doomed yet because I didn’t take you seriously, and I didn’t say anything to my family at all.”
She was the only one from the Qin family in this class anyway. Qin Muye was in the next class.
No one knew whether what she had said was true or false.
“I thought that at your low level, you would never interact with me again. Unexpectedly, you showed up to annoy me again. Since you think your family needs educating, then I will fulfill your wish!” Qin Muxiao went on a verbal rampage.
She thought since the Tan family was so insignificant, she didn’t need to alert her uncle’s family. As soon as she got home, she would tell her parents to punish the Tan family, and that would be enough to make them suffer.
Qin Muxiao thought, ‘This way, technically, I am not bluffing.’
Wei Keli was watching helplessly by the door and didn’t dare to go in.
He heard Qin Muxiao continue, “Ming Yeqing, I will ask you one last time. Do you want to take her side? Take a look at our class and see who acknowledges her besides you.”
Wei Keli was intently listening when someone tapped his shoulder.
He turned his head in surprise, and his eyes widened.
Wei Keli couldn’t help but quiver, and his agape mouth began to tremble. He took two steps back.
“Little…”
It’s over. He didn’t know how much Wei Zhiqian had heard.
After seeing him standing at the door and not going in, would he blame him again?
Wei Zhiqian pulled him away from the door and stepped in.
Wei Keli also saw that Qin Mufeng and Qin Muye were behind Wei Zhiqian.
Qin Muye slowly walked behind Qin Mufeng and entered Tan Mo’s classroom last.
When passing by Wei Keli, she deliberately ignored him out of disdain.
No wonder Tan Mo pushed Wei Keli towards Yuan Keqing.
They were birds of a feather.
“She led everyone in your class to bully you?”
When she suddenly heard Wei Zhiqian’s voice, Tan Mo’s heartbeat accelerated, and a long-lost feeling came rushing back to her.
Peace of mind and happiness…
She didn’t expect Wei Zhiqian to show up in their class, so she was pleasantly surprised.
After seeing him, she calmed down and felt that this brouhaha would soon be over.
She recalled an incident when she was picked on when she was a little snow fairy.
She thought that she was doomed, but the master unexpectedly arrived and rescued her.
Although her practice still fell short in the end, Master gave her a chance to become a human. Hence, she was very satisfied.
Thinking of this, Tan Mo looked into the distance outside the window.
She had no idea how the master was doing now, whether or not he missed her or had forgotten about her.
Was there a new little fairy beside the master?
She had never seen what the master looked like.
As a little snow fairy, she was stuck to the ground. She could only see the corners of the master’s clothes, and she hadn’t had a glimpse of the master’s face at all.
Even in her last moments as a little snow fairy, when the master held her in his arms, she only saw his outfit and not his face.
Tan Mo lowered her head sadly. She would never see the master again. It was a pity she didn’t know what he looked like.
Wei Zhiqian looked at Tan Mo with her head lowered and her shoulders drooping. She looked downcast, and his heart ached.
Why did her classmates bully her? What had she done to them? She looked completely dejected. She barely reacted and refused to speak.
Wei Zhiqian was so angry that he simply ignored Tan Mo, turned his head, and shouted towards the door, “You, come in!”
Wei Keli was shaken. Seeing that he couldn’t lurk any longer, he could only come in, embarrassed.
Tan Mo came to her senses upon hearing Wei Zhiqian’s angry voice. When she turned around, she saw Wei Keli coming in.
Qin Muye walked to Tan Mo and whispered, “He has been watching the whole thing outside the door just now.”
Needless to say, Tan Mo already understood.
“Did Qin Muxiao lead the whole class to bully Tan Mo just now?” Wei Zhiqian asked Wei Keli coldly.
He saw Qin Muxiao’s actions, yet he didn’t do something to stop her.
Before Wei Keli could answer, Tan Mo spoke, “No.”
“Don’t be foolish! Why are you covering for them?” Wei Zhiqian frowned. If Tan Mo was really like this, then he wouldn’t bother with her affairs in the future.
Like bad people, foolish people weren’t worthy of sympathy.
Tan Mo shook her head and pointed to Ming Yeqing. “Ming Yeqing was nice to me. He wanted to be friends with me and took my side.”
Wei Zhiqian’s knitted brows relaxed, and he glanced at Ming Yeqing. Then he nodded and said, “The Ming family’s children have always been good.”
“As for the others,” Tan Mo glanced at her classmates, “they are just afraid of the Qin family.”
“Aren’t you?” Qin Mufeng smiled.
“I have Little Uncle here. I have nothing to be afraid of.” Tan Mo kissed up to Wei Zhiqian without hesitation.
She was also good friends with Qin Muye. Would Qin Muye abandon her?
But Tan Mo only chose to say the most important thing.
She knew the best who to kiss up to.
Sure enough, when Wei Zhiqian heard this, the frostiness on his handsome face suddenly disappeared.
“I’m also here,” Qin Muye said quickly.
“Yes!” Tan Mo replied with a smile. “That’s why I’m assured.”
Qin Muye was happy.
“In the Qin family, what you say doesn’t count.” Qin Mufeng looked at Qin Muxiao coldly. “The Qin family won’t target anyone just because you say so.”
“Listen up,” Qin Mufeng said to other students, “Qin Muxiao’s words don’t represent the Qin family at all.”
