The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 75

75 Breakfast

Kyle watched the little cat hid under the blanket and was a bit dumbfounded.

He looked at his clothes and then laughed lightly. His low laugh traveled across the blanket, making Kate felt even more embarrassed.

She didn’t want to be asked to bring other men’s clothes anymore, ah!

Shirt and pants were fine, but if she had to take out his underwear too... Kate really couldn’t bear it.

She couldn’t!

Ahhhh!

While Kate was screaming inside her mind, Kyle felt a bit amused that little cat was surprisingly shy about something like this. Her reaction was just like that of a girl rather than that of a little kid.

But Kyle did remember that the cat’s gender is female.

‘Did she have some early education?’

.....

Kyle was amused.

He quickly changed clothes and then tapped the blanket lightly. “Come on, Little Kitty, it’s time to have breakfast.”

“Meow...”

Kate showed her furry face from under the cover. She could only meow weakly when facing Kyle as she really felt that being his ‘warehouse’ was actually not that good. It was impossible for her to avoid this kind of embarrassing scene.

Can he possibly just awaken a spatial ability on his own?

That way, he didn’t have to rely on her in regards to some of his daily necessities that she truly felt embarrassed to take out.

Kyle chuckled and picked Kate up easily. He could guess that she was being shy and wanted to say that there was nothing for her to be embarrassed about. But for some reason, he held those words back.

The two of them walked out of the room and headed towards the elevator. The door will be locked automatically and Kyle only needed his room card to open it again.

Ding!

The elevator arrived and Dylan was standing there. He nodded at Kyle.

“I thought we’re going to eat at your place.” Kyle arched his eyebrows.

“Jake.”

Kyle sighed. “He returns to his old habit again, huh?”

The two of them then walked towards another door and Dylan used master card to open the door.

Kate wanted to peer inside but Kyle carried her onto his shoulder. This time, he didn’t wear any jacket and instead put on a t-shirt, so he couldn’t put her inside his pocket.

“The scene inside is not suitable for children.”

“Meow?”

Right after Kate asked in confused manner, there was a shrill scream coming from inside the room. Thankfully, the door was nearly closed, so the sound was not so loud.

Still, Kate was stupefied.

Followed the scream was the sound of something falling to the ground hard.

“I’m awake! I’m awake! Damn you, Dylan! Do you really have to twist my arm just to wake me up? My hand is going off!”

“Leg.”

“Damn you! Don’t do it to my leg too! My girlfriend will kill me if I can’t carry her....”

Thud!

There was another sound of something falling down to the ground and Kate could only blink her eyes innocently. It seemed that she realized what Jake’s bad habit that Kyle mentioned just now.

He liked to sleep in.

If not because they were outside and had to fight a lot in the past few days, Jake was most likely wouldn’t be able to wake up in time early in the morning. Even now, he didn’t seem like he was willing to wake up in the slightest bit.

Oh well, it was not Kate’s business.

Afterwards, there was a slam and then it was silent. Kyle pushed the door open and saw the messy room. He revealed a thoughtful expression and then turned to look at the television in front of Jake’s bed.

He could probably imagine what his friend was doing at night before.

“It’s no wonder that his parents are always punishing him so much every time they see him.” Kyle shook his head and didn’t come in. “Let’s just eat in your place.”

“Ok.” Dylan also seemed to have a strong distaste to stay in this room even for a second longer.

Kate blinked her eyes.

For them to be willing to be friends with Jake even after knowing his bad habit, it seemed that they were all genuine friends.

At the very least, they were not paper brothers.

After waiting for Jake to finish bathing, they headed to Dylan’s suite, which was several times more luxurious than their rooms to have their meal. Dr. Dall also came and looked a bit embarrassed for coming in such a place.

“I really feel out of place here...” Dr. Dall sighed.

Jake was still moving his hand and leg around. Thankfully, they all knew martial arts and had some basic lesson, so Jake’s hand was fine even after being twisted by Dylan not long ago. Dylan also didn’t have any plan to cripple Jake.

“Just eat. It’s really nothing much for us.”

“You can say that easily, but have you ever thought what will happen to the people downstairs who are coming from outside and had been reduced to poor people?” Dr. Dall rolled his eyes.

With the disparage between poor and rich was getting higher in this place, he was sure that these people will put pressure on Dylan’s family business.

“They can try.” Dylan’s eyes were calm.

Jake sighed and patted Dr. Dall’s shoulder. “You know, a lot of awakened people are working for his family right now. Do you think that a random Tom, Harry, and... what’s the third name? Jerry? Could possibly threaten his position?”

Kate’s whisker twitched.

Did this Jake watch too many cartoon last night? Tom and Jerry were names from cartoon, right?

Kyle sighed. “Don’t worry too much. If it’s that easy to overthrow the government, it would have been impossible for them to stand firm for so many years.”

Dr. Dall looked at the three people in front of him and really couldn’t say anything else. He simply sighed.

The lives of people at the top of the food chain was really different from those at the middle like him.
