The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 54

54 Second Red Rain

Well, it was one of her mother’s hobby to cook, especially desserts.

There was never any lack of desserts in her home because of her mother’s hobby.

“Little Kitty, you’re here again?” Kyle looked into the kitchen and saw Kate was happily watching Kate’s mother. Sometimes, he seriously wondered just whose cat she is that she often liked other people more than her owner.

This is outrageous.

“Meow?”

Kate looked at Kyle curiously.

“Madam, please take some rest before midnight today in your room. There might be the same incident as before again,” Kyle said while picking Kate up.

“Meow!”

Kate really wanted Kyle to understand her words, but she felt that it was utterly useless.

.....

Kate’s mother looked worried. “If there’s something like that again, will it be very dangerous?”

“I don’t know.” Kyle smiled bitterly. The news that they could get was extremely limited, so he didn’t even know what kind of change would happen should there be another red rain and mass fainting.

Not to mention, some people might be out there, fighting in the middle of the night.

Those were the reckless type.

And it was still only a possibility that there will be a red rain again later. Naturally, Kyle will definitely not say that it was the truth until he saw that red rain again.

“Fine.” Kate’s mother sighed. “You should have some rest too, Young Man.”

“I will.”

Kyle smiled and walked out, carrying Kate to his bedroom.

“Meow?”

When Kate heard that there will be another red rain, she was dumbstruck. If there was another red rain, would it be possible for her to change her form back to human?

She longed to be human again.

After being a cat for around 10 days, she had to admit that being a human was still much better in terms that she could do what she wanted more. Being a cat limited her options and action.

“What is it, Little Kitty?” Kyle glanced at Kate.

“Meow?”

But Kyle didn’t understand.

He looked at the cat and sighed. “I guess I should teach you some communication method. Will children’s letter be enough for you?”

Kate trembled.

She’s not a kid, damn it!

But when Kate saw these letters on the ground, she realized that it might truly be useful. There were not many of them, but it was enough for her to form a sentence.

“These are letters that can help you to communicate with me. This is letter A, this is B, and then this is C...”

As Kyle introduced the letters one by one, Kate almost collapsed.

She’s not a toddler who had only started to learn how to recognize letter!

But Kate could only be patient.

She knew that in Kyle’s eyes, she was nothing more than a little cat who had only started to have intelligence that was similar to that of a little kid. There was no way that a cat would be able to recognize letters that had never been introduced before.

If it was a normal cat.

Kate looked at the letters and sighed deeply.

She stretched her paw and pulled several letters to form two words.

“You’re asking about red rain?” Kyle was a bit surprised when he saw the letters on the ground. He smiled faintly. “There’s nothing much to say about that rain since it’s said to be a somewhat natural phenomenon that drive us to have this kind of weird awakening or mutation.”

Seeing how the little cat could easily recognize the letter, Kyle felt a bit suspicious. Normally, it will take a long time for a child to even understand what he was saying and introducing.

He was ready to repeat this a few times.

But seeing how the cat easily pull the necessary words required to form words, he understood that he had underestimated this little cat.

‘Is she really just a little cat?’

Kyle rubbed Kate’s head with his finger.

“Meow?”

*drizzle*

The faint sound of rain startled the two of them.

Kyle quickly walked to the window and looked outside. It was dark, so it would be hard to determine the color of the rain, so he lit up the lamp outside.

The window now showed red colored rain spots.

Kyle pursed his lips.

“It really came.”

“Meow!”

Kate looked at the window and her eyes glowed a bit. If she could truly turn back into human after this, she didn’t mind even if she had to pass out for a long period of time.

Nonsense!

She always wanted to turn back to human!

“Go to your bed.”

“Meow.”

Being the obedient one, Kate quickly jumped to her bed while looking at the window continuously. That rain from before happened in the afternoon, but this one happened at night.

When many people saw the red rain, they would definitely prepare for passing out.

“Gah! Dylan, don’t block my way!” Jake yelled from outside. He was in a hurry to return to his bedroom.

“You block.”

“I’m not the one blocking! AH, let me return to my room! I don’t want to pass out in a strange way again!”

The two of them quarreled a bit before there were sound of door slamming.

Kate was amused and she kept on looking outside, wondering when there will be lightning strike occurring. But her small body really couldn’t stand staying awake anymore. She did take naps from time to time, but her body was indeed somewhat weaker.

Closing her eyes, Kate slowly fell into dreamland.

On the other hand, Kyle was reading the information while looking outside from time to time. When it was close to 12 O’clock, he put down his tablet and lied down on the bed.

Bang!

Lightning strike right at 12 O’clock, causing countless people to fall asleep in that very moment.
