The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 311 - 311 Single Dogs

311 Single Dogs

Thunk!

“I feel that my luck is the worst.” Marc looked at the couple in front of him and felt that he had stumbled on the most unfortunate time of a couple’s date.

There were pink bubbles everywhere.

But he couldn’t even feel it because it was not for him. Instead, there was a sour smell that made him feel that he was such an unwanted light bulb.

Beside him, Lucy was holding a chicken drumstick. Fortunately, the chickens didn’t turn into giant mutated animals or they wouldn’t be able to eat chickens again. Though, the chicken farm would need a long time to be able to operate like before again.

Rebreeding and so on definitely take a long time.

“Tsk, tsk, the person who said that she’s not interest in dating is now spreading dog food everywhere.” Lucy also felt sour.

When they were in the university, Kate was the one who didn’t have much interest in dating. Instead, it was Lucy who was keen on searching handsome guys. Since they were in the engineering faculty, there was no lack of handsome guys!

Just lack courage to pursue them.

.....

*cough*

“Let’s go. I don’t want to eat dog food again today.” Marc thought that he wouldn’t have to eat more dog food since they all went their separate ways. Who would have thought that he would stumble upon Kate and Kyle?

And it was even more so when the two of them were so sticky with each other.

Uhhh.

He should have checked his almanac before going out today.

“Maybe we should search for an app that can calculate whether we will stumble upon dog food scene or not in the future,” Lucy mumbled as she turned around. Even if they encountered Kate and Kyle, she had no intention to be the third wheels in the two’s relationship.

Marc nodded, strongly agreed with this preposition. If there was anyone who could calculate it, he definitely would recommend the app.

It will be very popular amongst the single dogs!

As long as the calculation is accurate.

If not accurate, the app will probably be sprayed by the users in the comment section after they were being fed with dog food.

“Wang! Wang!” <Robby is hungry! Why are you two talking about dog food without bringing Robby along?>

Robby looked at his owner with wronged expression. He felt that he has been a good dog all these times and now Marc was talking about dog food again.

How come he didn’t get any?

He’s hungry!

“I’ll give you food later.” Marc rolled his eyes at his dog. “You just didn’t understand the pain of being a single dog.”

“Wang!” <Master, you’re not a dog>

Marc: “…” thank you, I know that much.

Lucy chuckled when she saw Marc’s expression when he looked at Robby. Even if she couldn’t know what Robby was saying, Marc’s rich of expression when he quarreled with Roby had told her a lot of things.

“It would be good if there’s a translation device that can help me to understand what Robby is saying,” Lucy said.

Translation device?

Marc thought about the research institute in City E and knew that there was definitely the translation device that they tried to make. After all, there were halves and also those animals who didn’t turn into giant mutated animals but instead become friends with them.

If they could communicate with them, it would be for the best.

It seemed that when he returned, he would try to ask some of his acquaintances in the research institute about this matter.

Even if he could already understand, other people would still need the devices if they wanted to understand.

“Wang!” <How about making blood contract with Robby’s friend?>

Robby looked at Lucy and wagged his tail excitedly. He also brushed his body on Lucy’s leg, trying to comfort Lucy so that she would not be sad.

“Hey, I better not.” Lucy chuckled. “I definitely couldn’t take care of the dog if I have to have one.”

“Wang!” <Aww, that’s too bad>

“It’s fine. You can play with Robby more if you want to,” Marc said generously. Anyway, even without him giving the permission, this naughty dog had been running to play with Lucy a lot.

It would be better for him to say it upfront so that Lucy knew.

“Thank you.” Lucy smiled brightly.

Marc looked at the young woman in front of him blankly for a moment and then nodded. He patted Robby’s head. “Now, where do you want to go?”

“Wang! Wang! Wang!” <over here, Master. There’s a familiar smell over here too>

“Familiar smell?” Marc looked at his dog and suddenly feel a bad premonition washed over him. He quickly rushed over to pull Robby. “Wait, don’t go there! I don’t want to bump into another…”

Lucy had reached Robby first and now stood still on her place. Behind her, Marc also looked to the front and saw the scene that was awfully familiar to them.

It was just that the couple in front of them had changed.

The sour smell of being a single dog permeates once more.

Lucy: “…”

Marc: “…”

The two of them looked at each other and then looked at Robby. They had the feeling that this dog was really smart at detecting the location where these dog foods were sprinkled.

In just a few minutes, the two of them already felt extremely sour because of the dog food thrown to their faces.

“Let’s not have Robby lead the way again.” Marc took a deep breath.

He had a strong evidence that the reason why it was called as dog food was because a dog could sense it from far away and led these single dogs to watch it together.

Even if he knew that it was just a coincidence, Marc still felt resentful of Robby.

“I agree.” Lucy gnashed her teeth. She looked at Robby unkindly. “Let’s go and eat some snacks. This time, I’m not giving Robby any.”

“Wang! Wang! Wang!” <What? Why are you not giving Robby any food? is doing anything wrong!>

Robby was shocked as he looked at Lucy.

Has he fallen out of love?

Lucy would always treat him with a lot of food before!
