Chapter 10: Find fault with
Chapter 10
The school bell rang quickly, and Yan Xi had just finished tidying up the things on her desk when a shadow covered her head.
[Zhou Zhou came, with his gang.]
[Uh-huh.]
"Except for that transfer student, the rest of you get lost. I'll treat you to a meal another day," Zhou Zhou stood in front of Yan Xi's desk and yelled loudly at the whole class, then violently kicked the chair Yan Xi was sitting on.
Fortunately, Yan Xi got up quickly. The chair was kicked over with a loud bang, crashing into Kong Jie's desk behind Yan Xi.
The atmosphere instantly tensed up.
[What a guy with no brains.] Yan Xi tidied up her clothes.
That kick just now was malicious enough. Her image would have been ruined if she didn't dodge it in time.
When she looked up, she saw Zhou Zhou staring fiercely at her again.
What a rare fool.
Yan Xi lowered her eyes, letting her hair fall loose and cascade along her face. Her eyes were red, but her gaze was extremely arrogant.
This look was tantamount to provocation in Zhou Zhou's eyes.
"Bro Zhou, don't be so angry. My books got knocked askew, and Teacher Peng hasn't left his office yet." Kong Jie stood up and blocked Zhou Zhou, then turned his head and blinked at Yan Xi, signaling her to leave quickly.
Kong Jie was the class vice monitor. If anything happened, Teacher Peng would find him first to settle accounts. Why not the class monitor? Because the class monitor was Teacher Peng's favorite with good grades. Also, he and Zhou Zhou grew up together in the same big family. If Zhou Zhou caused any trouble, he would have a hard time explaining to Zhou's father.
Zhou Zhou brushed Kong Jie aside impatiently. "Get lost."
"Zhou Zhou, we're all classmates. This is not good." Kong Jie raised his voice deliberately.
Other boys also came over to chime in and advised, "That's right, we're all classmates. Let's go play basketball after school, Zhou Zhou."
The boys were all chivalrous, thinking it was bad for their reputation if word got out that they stood by coldly as a beauty transfer student got bullied.
"And Teacher Peng might still be in the office. Give me some face and don't make trouble at school," Kong Jie refused to give up and kept tugging at Zhou Zhou's arm, lowering his voice to keep talking to Zhou Zhou.
Zhou Zhou easily shook off Kong Jie's hand, then put it on Kong Jie's shoulder lazily and paused for a bit before continuing slowly, "And more importantly...I just want to chat with the new classmate."
If not for your "kind" smile, I might have believed you.
[Pandora, when is Yao Jie coming?]
[Probably about 10 minutes away.]
[Help me send her a message to wait for me at the school gate.]
[OK.] Pandora had to admit, Luo Manman managed to get Ji Yao's WeChat after just one class break. He sure had skills.
"You guys should just go home early and not loiter around. We can play basketball anytime. I mainly want to welcome the new classmate today." Zhou Zhou articulated unhurriedly.
This transfer student was doomed.
Hearing this, the boys stopped persuading one after another. After all, it's never wise to provoke this young master.
"You're still not leaving?" Zhou Zhou interrupted them, his voice taut like a wire. It was not a question but a threat.
Hearing this, the others left more or less, with most of the girls not daring to make a sound either.
Some elite students simply glanced over and took their supplementary books to go self-study in Class B. School and studies came first regardless of other matters big or small.
Oh right, the class monitor thought the same way too.
[I suddenly feel like doing some electromagnetic field questions too. I haven't finished the one asking about the motion states of electric charges in a magnetic field.]
[A big heart you have there.]
"Yan Xi, you still owe me money. When are you going to pay me back? I want it now," Shen Qiuyi suddenly stood up and spoke out, hands clenched tightly.
Hearing this, they both turned to look at her.
"Now," Yan Xi responded swiftly.
"Then go help me pay what I owe the stationery store right now...."
"I'll pay for her, double the amount. You can leave now," Zhou Zhou interrupted her spell, his tone forceful and his handsome brows knitted heavily, extremely oppressive.
"You...." Shen Qiuyi was tongue-tied and got pulled away by Dong Yaya.
Dong Yaya didn't even dare to look at Yan Xi's expression as she lowered her head.
That's about enough. It's time for this young master to take the stage.
"What do you want?" Yan Xi asked plainly, staring straight at Zhou Zhou.
"I just want to invite you to come play, new class-mate." Zhou Zhou smiled evilly.
Invite me to come play? Or play with me?
"Oh right, I've also invited some senior sisters. You don't mind, do you?" Zhou Zhou smiled as he pointed to a few "senior sisters" at the door of Class 3.
Seeing Zhou Zhou's signal, the "senior sisters" quickly fluttered their eyes at him. Not sure when they came, but most had heads of rainbow hair in ignorance of dress codes, dressed in clothes catering to the nightclub party style - consistently ultrashort skirts.
A smiling tiger revealing his true colors. What an eye-opener.
"Sure." Yan Xi readily agreed without any hesitation.
[A true hero, daring to face the bleakness of life! Daring to face the dripping blood, such kind of...] Pandora started reciting textbook passages beside her.
[That's why I like Brother Xun the most! The senior sisters have such hot figures. I really want to see them dance Xin Baodao.]
Zhou Zhou, who didn't seem to want an audience, originally planned to settle things in the classroom. But suddenly recalling Kong Jie’s words, he walked to the door and said, "New classmate, let's go. Let's take a walk outside."
After Yan Xi packed up her desk, she followed behind Zhou Zhou calmly with a set of physics test papers in hand.
Just as she walked to the door, Yan Xi’s wrist was suddenly grabbed, though not forcefully.
Now who was it? Yan Xi frowned.
At some point, Tu Qingluan had walked to Yan Xi's side, her pink eyes full of smiles.
Tu Qingluan lowered her voice and said to Yan Xi, "Zhou Zhou's not someone easy to deal with. If you go out with him, I guarantee he'll play you to your death."
It sounded like both a threat and a reminder.
"So?"
"Be my girlfriend. I'll help you resolve this." Tu Qingluan threw out her offer.
Hmm?
It was really hard to describe this behavior.
So lovely, each and every one of them.
But Yan Xi still maintained professionalism to continue the performance.
Yan Xi seemed to feel insulted.
Her eyes instantly turned red. She lowered her eyes slightly, her gorgeous features breathtakingly beautiful. She lifted her grabbed hand and shook it off.
"No need." Her voice was cold but still enticing in refusal.
"Hurry up with your nonsense." Zhou Zhou glared warningly at Yan Xi’s side. The senior sisters also looked at Yan Xi with ill intent.
[Of course I can't compare to your speed.]
[Rubbing salt in the wound there, Luo Manman.] Pandora said.
Caught off guard, Zhou Zhou's heart softened a little as he met Yan Xi's watery eyes. But then seeing her turn cold the moment she noticed him looking at her, Zhou Zhou strangely felt pissed.
Damn it! It was clearly you provoking me first, yet acting all innocent now, f**k!
Young Master Zhou then decided to drag her away directly.
"Zhou Zhou!"
"Zhou Zhou!"
Two male voices overlapped.
They've arrived after all. Yan Xi smiled slightly.
My little white bunnies.
