Chapter 8 - Visiting China?
"Play with murder enough and it gets you one of two ways. It makes you sick, or you get to like it."
-Dussell Hammet
"Ma'am." Cao Feng called out, holding her work phone.
He put the phone on the speaker.
" Show me your art, Gong," She said, thinking about his fascinating art he performed in the previous traitor. His art always impressed her. The man loved to peel human skin for his strange projects and the gadgets he had always intrigued her.
"With pleasure, Miss Xin," Gong replied hurriedly. She was aware of his excitement, it was not every day he got his favorite toys.
"Gong . . ." She said, her tone laced with warning.
"Miss Xin I won't kill him until you come. He's waiting in the blackroom under, so drugged up that he can't see straight . . . but he's still not talking." He pouted. Even though he loved tormenting men he was still very afraid of his boss. He wouldn't dare to piss her off.
"Goodbye, Gong," She said as Cao Feng ended the call.
"BlackHouse ma'am?"
She just nodded, he kept driving until they reached the black house.
" Ma'am." The men bowed before opening the door, only to reveal an elevator with Alexander waiting for them. He was the head of her security but she ordered him to handle this matter privately.
"Miss Xin, Gong has been torturing him for long but the man is not opening his mouth. We succeed to take out the hidden poison from him. He is no ordinary mercenary but his identity is hidden. We have hacked all the major government's data but didn't even found anything on him no name nothing just a code S-072001 tattooed on his body," Alexander briefed her on the situation.
She nodded and stepped out of the lift along with two other men.
She could hear a man gasping for air as water splashed around him. They were a level up from where they were waterboarding the man. The blackroom was a huge room with a giant gym, a boxing ring in the corner, and various tools scattered on the floor. But today they had cleared everything on the floor to make room for their captive. As she entered the room, the men gave her a short bow and she just nodded in return. Each one of them looked just as deadly as a hungry lion waiting for his prey, and they all stood silently, allowing the man's underwater screams to echo around the space.
"Enough, " She called out, and Gong stood straighter as She stepped forward.
Impressive… he had done an incredible job on the man's skin. It seemed as if his skin was the canvass and Gong's knives were the lacquer and both things created a beautiful red oil painting on his skin.
" Boss," Gong said happily and came towards his boss like a dog expecting to be patted by his master.
"Cao Feng," She said, without emotion.
Nodding, he cleared the room and did with she expected him to do.
"Xin Zhenyi knows well how to make a mute talk," She said to no one in particular.
"To hell with you bitch. You are not good than my —" Before he could finish, She smashed the wooden chair kept in front of me on his face.
Blood oozed from his face as he glared at her. He gazed at her with such hate that couldn't be comprehended in words. As if she cared about this bastard.
The men shook their heads inwardly at the idiocy of the fool.
Spitting the blood from his mouth, he snickered, " I'd rather die than talk to you, bitch."
She smiled and saw him trying to keep his eyes open. Just a few more minutes before he would be done for. The door to the room opened and entered a very sophisticated and handsome young man carrying a brown envelope.
" Boss. " The handsome young man bowed and handed her the envelope. He trembled inwardly at the sight of the injured man but he recalled his senior's advice not to open his mouth carelessly if he didn't wish to die sooner.
"Doctor song asked me to greet you in her place, " he further added.
" Exact words, Young man. Both of us know doctor song is allergic to simple words" She tried not to roll her eyes. That Doctor Song was a weird creature.
" Bos-s I-I -"
"Get out. You're not required anymore and tell your money-grubbing boss she will be paid accordingly" She barked at him.
She opened the envelopes and a look of surprise flashed through my eyes and she was somewhat impressed with the thorough job done by this money-grubbing doctor. She might be expensive but she was impressive.
She tossed the contents of the envelope in front of the captive and his eyes widened after seeing the report.
'How was it possible?' the captive murmured to himself. But he knew the woman was a devil-skinned as a human.
"So, what do you think about it?" She asked him lazily. She was too tired to play this little game with him.
He still did not speak.
"Cao Feng-
" STOP"
She turned her gaze towards him and gestured him to keep on talking.
" I don't know about my master we are given order by our superiors. I just overheard that Master will be arriving in China within few days," he honestly answered even though he knew he would be killed. He would prefer an easy death over the torture of Xins. There was a reason why they were called 'blood-thirsty demons.'
Sighing, She asked Gong to shoot him. He fired until his lifeless body fell from the chair. He got an easy death but what was the fun in persecuting him if he was of no use to her.
China...It seemed She had a real reason to visit China now.
'I'm coming china,' she said in her mind.
