[Skill - Shattered Judgement (LVL- 1) - (Cooldown: 5 minutes) - Shattered Judgement is a devastating sword technique that harnesses the wielder's aura. This attack is not only a physical strike but also a potent aura manipulation technique. It is designed to neutralize and shatter the auras of opponents, leaving them vulnerable to further attacks.

However, it also carries a devastating effect on those who do not possess or utilize aura.]

[Requirements: Aura Mastery Must Be Grade 4 or above, OR Trickster At Arms Is Activated, Or Enhancement and Flow Aura Is Low-Advanced]

[Impact and Effects:]

[Aura Users: Upon impact, the aura attacks the opponent, clashing with and neutralizing their own aura. The opposing aura is disrupted, shattered, and rendered temporarily unusable.]

[Non-Aura Users: For those without aura, the power of the user's aura inflicts extreme physical damage. The impact is related to being struck by a lightning bolt, causing immense pain, internal injuries, and potentially even knocking them unconscious for an extended period.]

Huu...

I exhaled, my breath fogging in the cool museum air.

My mind was still reeling from the adrenaline rush, my body buzzing with a strange mixture of exhaustion and exhilaration.

Shattered Judgement... The name of the skill felt so random.

I couldn't tell If it was the me who used Trickster At Arms that said it or the me that's thinking right now?

All I could think of was the satisfying attack I had displayed just now.

It was exhilarating, terrifying, and utterly thrilling all at once.

But... did I win?

My gaze darted to the pile of rubble where Jasper had fallen.

Was he truly defeated? Or was this just a temporary setback?

If this guy had a second phase then I'm done for...

Just as doubt began to creep in, another notification flashed across my vision.

FWANG!

[Main Storyline Quest: Invasion - A rematch! - Complete!]

[All Rewards Will Be Transfered...]

holy shit... thank god for that.

thud!

Letting my body drop to the floor, I laid on the cold marble stone.

Finally, I thought, allowing myself a moment of satisfaction. I can finally catch my breath.

That battle was far too close for comfort.

If Jasper had managed to manifest more of his mutated limbs, I might not have been able to win.

But thanks to my quick thinking, my instincts, and a little bit of luck, I had managed to neutralize him... for now.

Sixth Sense and Sensory Aura definitely played their part though.

I'm just grateful I didn't have to expend any more mana using abilities or skills.

FWANG!

[Transfer Complete!]

The notification brought my attention back to the present.

[The following currencies have been added]

[2500+ BP, 500+ QP]

I pushed myself off the floor after seeing all the rewards.

ahh...

A slight groan escaped my lips as my muscles ached from the sudden exertion.

I scanned the shattered room, my eyes taking in the broken displays and the remaining haze of demonic energy.

The silence was deafening.

uuuwahh...

"...!"

As I stretched, I grabbed my weapon, Axel, from the ground and noticed something strange on the blade.

Although I had released all the aura from my previous attack on Jasper, parts of the blade were now scattered with black.

— "If the sword acts strange, you bring it back here."

Jin's words echoed in my mind.

A sword's colour was supposed to remain unchanged.

This was clearly not normal for a grade 1 then, and I would need to return it to him.

Sheathing Axel, I remembered I needed to get back to Jan and Valencia.

But first I'd need to find a weapon I could use instead of my sword...

As my eyes searched around the room, I saw a display case that had been spared from Jasper's wrath.

Inside, a shining recurve bow and a quiver of arrows caught my eye.

[Sebastien Flute's Recurve Bow - Replica]

huhu...

A chuckle escaped my lips.

I couldn't be seen with Axel, and this bow might prove useful.

The demon they were dealing with was an Octopus Variation of a demi-human, known for their speed, agility, and likely poisonous tentacles.

Plus, they retained all their skills and attributes, making them capable of two-way attacks.

Given the earlier fire breath attack, this one probably had a fire attribute as well.

While Jan's light magic should be enough to slay the demon, I had doubts he'd get a clear shot with his attribute alone.

As an archer with a swordsman class, I could provide cover fire and hopefully create an opening.

I knew the risks of awakening Jan's Divine Conqueror ability too early, but Valencia's presence might be the deciding factor.

Still, there was no guarantee. This was a deviation from the original plot.

Quickly backtracking through the museum, I returned to the restroom where I'd stashed my belongings.

I took off the mercenary disguise, placed Axel in the bag, and changed back into my original clothes.

The constant switching of identities felt strange, but I knew my presence as 'Rel' would be more valuable in the long run.

I had to get back to them. They were going to need all the help they could get.

***

[Paris, The Museum Louvre - First Floor | Central Entrance]

As Jan and Valencia arrived at the central entrance, they were met with a scene of pure chaos.

"LET ME IN MAGE GIRL!" the demi-human roared, banging its tentacles against a red barrier.

"Is that Camila?!" Jan's eyes widened at the sight of the massive barrier holding back the creature.

"Quick!" Valencia urged, and the two dashed towards the monster.

A crowd of terrified civilians huddled together, their faces pale with fear. At the center of the barrier, Camila stood at the front, her arms raised, barely holding back the onslaught.

[Lost Archives: Light Attribute is manifesting.]

Jan leaped into the air, raising his long sword high above his head.

"Cleaving Arc!" he yelled, slashing downward at the demi-human, unleashing a massive arc of light from his blade.

But the creature, a grotesque amalgamation of human and octopus, reacted with lightning speed, its bulbous eyes turning towards them, its slimy tentacles writhing.

"Humans," it hissed, its voice a raspy growl.

"You really think you can fight against me? The new form of humanity?"

"That masked guy wasn't kidding about a human-like monster,"

Valencia murmured, coming to a stop beside Jan.

She took a defensive stance, gripping her 17th-century rapier tightly.

Jan nodded grimly.

"Right... I would have never thought these things could ever exist," he whispered, his eyes locked on the creature.

He paused, his brow furrowed as he processed the reality before him. "In this world..."

As the two ignored the demi-human, a manic laughter bubbled from its throat.

"We, the New Order Of The Devil's Cult, will show you true power!"

BOOM!

With a deafening roar, the creature slammed its tentacles into the ground, sending shockwaves through the marble floor.

A branch of dark, demonic energy erupted, splitting into a blazing inferno that raced towards Jan and Valencia.

"Dodge!" Jan yelled, sensing an attack before Valencia could even react.
