Turning on the lights, Amon saw Katherine sleeping on the couch, her arm limply hanging down from the sofa.

She hadn't even changed and it was quite visible how tired she was.

A blanket was loosely hanging off her legs.

She left so early and arrived so late.

It was quite obvious to Amon that if there was any social standing of the Ashford Siblings, it was because of his sister.
