Chapter 384 Witch
"I never heard of temples of the spirits… I guess they didn't last for thousands of years," Aion thought. "Maybe Tenebres destroyed it in the real present of Malon and his friends."
That would explain things. If the spirit of the wind could only manifest there after losing their master, that would be the best way to avoid their interference. At the same time, Aion wondered if they had a connection with Ceilion and the others. It was worth checking once Aion can.
Malon, Cailena, and Vaeral entered the temple with reverence, their footsteps echoing softly on the marble floor. They looked around in wonder at the intricate carvings and decorations on the walls and ceiling. It felt like the sound of chimes and bells filled the air, and the sweet scent of nature enveloped them. They moved slowly and respectfully, taking in the sacred atmosphere of the temple dedicated to the spirit of the wind.
As they explored further, they could feel the power of the wind all around them, and they knew that this was a special place where the forces of nature were honored and revered. They were in awe of the beauty and majesty of the temple, and they felt humbled by its presence.
Now that Aion thought about it, that temple was a bit similar to the temples where he found the time relics… their location was also similar. The first one he found was in a mountainous area.
Before long, the group found a small altar, and then the wind began to block around it until they eventually saw something taking shape there. Eventually, a green glowing sphere appeared, and then it started to move up and down.
"It has been a while since humans with true purpose had come to talk with me," the sphere said. "Waiting for that to happen has been pretty boring."
"O great spirit of the wind, thank you for showing yourself to us," Vaeral said. "We have come here to request your assistance in order to protect the world from the clutches of an evil being that can cross time and space of his own free will."
"I already know that; I wouldn't have shown up if I didn't know that," the wind spirit said, and Aion could almost imagine them furrowing their eyebrows. "I already know that we already know that, and we have been just waiting for you four. You can rest assured that you all will have our assistance as long as your goal is pure."
"Four?" Vaeral asked while furrowing his eyebrows.
"The fate of the world rests on the shoulders of the six of you; just focus on doing the right thing for the sake of the future," the wind spirit said and then flew toward the interior of Vaeral's body.

Vaeral felt his body changing and being filled with power, his arms began to glow, and some tattoos appeared in there… just a few. Now he looked more like the person Aion met.
"We did it," Vaeral smirked after he opened his eyes.
"That is great… but…" Malon said while farrowing his eyebrows. "The spirits don't look that trustworthy to me now. The wind spirit said you four and then you six… we only have two more allies that we need to look for."
"Don't worry too much about it. The spirits are beings that don't live like humans; the flow of time is different for them," Vaeral said. "I thought that we would have to fight the spirit of the wind, but since they can see the future, the present, and the past at the same time, that wasn't necessary."
Malon and Cailena still looked suspicious… aside from them, Aion knew exactly what was going on. The wind spirit was able to see him and probably was saying to him as well…
"The wind spirit mentioned me here… and then said that six people are burdened by the fate of the world," Aion thought while trying to understand that. "Ervan probably didn't die, but is he in condition to fight? Even if Cailena heals him… also, the relics didn't have his image; the last person in the relics was a witch-looking person."
In any case, Aion was able to press the fast forward again and soon saw the wind spirit helping those three locate Ailen and Ervan. They were in a forest hundreds of kilometers east of their location… but they crossed that distance in just two days since the spirit of the wind used its magic to enhance everyone's movements. At times, they were even able to fly to avoid some large packs of monsters.
Just as Aion had expected, the witch was with Ailen and Ervan. Or rather, they were with the witch… apparently, she was the one who kept Ervan alive all this time.
The young witch had long, flowing black hair that cascaded down her back in loose waves. Her eyes were a piercing green, almost glowing in the dim light of the forest clearing. She wore a deep purple robe that flowed around her as she moved, and a delicate silver pendant hung from her neck. Her skin was a pale, almost translucent white that seemed to shimmer in the moonlight. Despite her youthful appearance, there was wisdom and power in her gaze that hinted at the vast magical abilities she possessed.
The woman looked like the one in the relics and the one Aion had seen in the tower. However, she looked far more annoyed than he recalled… Maybe she was the grumpy type, but she lived alone in a dense forest, and she didn't like any visitors. Even though she looked after the wounded Ervan.
