Chapter 377 Oath
The group headed toward one of the enemy bases where Ervan believed that the other relics could be found. In Aion's opinion, it was stupidity to bring the final relic to them. Still, he gave up long ago, finding logic in most people's actions.
They had to travel for three days, and they also had a few encounters with monsters since that region had a lot of them. Thanks to it, Ervan told them a few tricks on how to use mana more effectively to enhance their attacks and fighting styles. They were pretty good at that, so it didn't take long for Malon to use his mana inside his body and make it burn and enhance all of his parameters.
"Wait a minute… that is just like Inner Force!" Aion thought.
Since he had trained a lot, Malon could use Inner Force a lot better than Lexus when Aion saw him using it for the first time. Was that a matter of talent? He knew how strong Malon would become, but even so… Regardless, the surprises didn't end there.

Aion didn't know what was going on anymore. While it was a fact that he was obtaining knowledge while seeing those guys training, but that wasn't supposed to be enough to unlock new classes… unless the requirements that he completed to unlock the classes were just that, requirements to unlock the abilities that Aion inherited from Malon.
In any case, Aion got that class when Malon was training, and he used the basic technique of Inner Force and then used something like the technique that his father taught Vangel… was that a coincidence as well?
In any case, their learning speed sure was something. Once they reached their destination, which was a dark cave behind some mountains, Malon alone wiped out all the monsters that they found with a single strike.
After a while, those four reached the end of the cave and then found an iron door. It was big and wide, even if it was just to be used for an escape route… it certainly could hold back a few enemies.
Ervan grabbed some dirt from the ground and then messed with it inside his hands, and then dropped it. Those three didn't understand why he did that, but after a few seconds, some rocks emerged from the ground in an attempt to imitate a strong human body. The creature stood still, waiting for others.
"Open the door and guard things here," Ervan ordered.
The golem listened and, a short time later, went towards the iron door. The creature was powerful enough to be able to push and open it with ease, so they managed to pass.
"Come on," Ervan said. "Keep your guard up. From now on, things will get serious."
The three looked surprised at how easily he made a stone golem but soon followed him. Malon looked surprised since he confirmed once he crossed the gate, he saw some beautiful walls, massive pillars that had been carved out of high-quality rocks, and a vast wall ahead… the enemies sure had a lot of resources.
Those three looked surprised, but the mage signaled them to follow, and then they rushed through some corridors after crossing that massive hall until they saw a black wooden door that was half open. It didn't take long for Aion to realize that something was off… things had been too easy until now. How come to the enemies would have such a massive fortress with no guards? As if he had realized the same, Ervan stopped moving and looked around.
"What's the matter?" Malon asked.
"Something is off..." Ervan replied.
Those three looked at each other… they could only think that the plan was going well because they surprised the enemies. They were too young to understand that things had been too simple. After all, They don't have much experience when it comes to invading the enemy's base.
"Whatever, we don't have time," Ervan muttered, knowing that they didn't have other options.
Ervan looked annoyed, and then he opened the door ahead. Once they crossed it, they saw that they had reached another massive hall of the castle, and it was possible to see red carpets combined with red curtains on the walls that had the same white tones. Everything looked strangely fresh and new, considering that it was a fortress hidden inside a mountain.
Several candleholders and armors closed to the walls also decorated the place. Still, they ignored all until they heard footsteps from the stairs. Simultaneously everyone looked and saw someone watching them.
They saw the black knight, who had a round and light blue object similar to a crystal in his hands. His sword was drawn a black blade with a purple body that seemed to emanate an aura of darkness. Malon felt his rage boiling after seeing that guy again. The man who destroyed his village and killed his family... he won't let that go unpaid.
"You will pay for what you have done," Malon said and then clenched his teeth.
