Chapter 576: 570: Heaven Dragon Heaven Ghost
Chapter 576: Chapter 570: Heaven Dragon Heaven Ghost
Deep within the Blood Rainbow Mountain Range.
Due to the arrival of the Unborn Void God, the surrounding majestic mountains had all been twisted and annihilated by the endless force of the void.
From a distance, one could only see a majestic Demon God radiating a faint black glow under the daylight, its flawless divine body as profound as the void itself, intimidating to behold.
“Boom!”
As an unparalleled power began to assault the defenses of the Empty Three Realms, the sky trembled, and ripples stirred in the void only to quickly smooth out again.
Clearly, the Divine Zone could contain the heavens and the earth, its defense unmatched; even if someone attacked it wilfully from the outside, they could still not break through, only to watch as the Demon God inside slowly grew larger.
If Lornaa Lindwood were here now, she would be amazed to find that in just one day since his arrival, the Unborn Void God’s stature had surged from a mere 333 meters to a towering 999 meters.
Beyond that, swirling vortices around the Unborn Void God began to form obscure black runes, creating one sinister illusion of Void Willard after another.
From his pain-stricken face, forcibly maintained Calm Mind sitting posture, and his body riddled with bone spurs, it was evident that under the will’s erosion of the Unborn Void God, Void Willard was no longer the lofty lord of the Blood Temple but a freakish existence neither human nor beast, seemingly on the verge of losing his own consciousness at any moment.
…
In the outside world, the Heaven Ghost and Heaven Dragon, two generals whose formidable names struck terror into the hearts of countless ghosts, had arrived at Rillfort Mansion with two fully armed squads of Heaven-Demon Guard, their aura powerful enough to suppress the Ghost King Elite.
Among the accompanying Ghost King Elites, there were but a mere thirty-six, yet the number of strong warriors below the Ghost King level amounted to a full hundred thousand.
“Reporting to the General, this subordinate followed orders and activated the Seventy-Two Holy Dragon Formation, yet we still cannot break through the Empty Three Realms,” reported a strong warrior, kneeling on one knee, who had reached the medium level of the Ghost Emperor, wearing the Purifying Spirit Helmet, Domination Armor, and Cloud Traversing Boots, with a face full of awe.
This man, named Heaven Painter, was the captain of the Anti-evil Squad and held no small position among the Heaven-Demon Guard; he was a trusted subordinate of the Deity Heaven Dragon.
In front of him stood an ordinary-looking elder without armor. Although he did not make a move, the aura he emanated induced fear in all the surrounding soldiers.
The seething energy he released, as if it could melt everything, caused some soldiers stationed at a distance to turn pale.
“Since the Grand Marshal of Umbral resigned, the stationed troops here have indeed declined with each passing generation,” lamented the Ghost Immortal named Heaven Dragon, reflecting on the weakness of Rillfort Mansion’s garrison instead of attending to his subordinate’s report.
“Old fellow, let’s join forces to break the Divine Zone,” suddenly appeared a strong figure clad in blood-red armor with a demonic mask, his features hazy and indistinct, speaking in a gruff tone.
“You young people nowadays really don’t know how to respect the elderly. Just for an incarnation of the Demon God, do you really need our cooperation?”
At the thought of Heaven Dragon, space behind him trembled violently as a terrifying blaze shot into the sky, forming a dazzling golden flame dragon, whose rampaging heat seemed almost to vaporize everything around it.
“Old man, don’t let the Divine Zone remain unbroken while killing all the soldiers we brought. Then what will you use to fight against the Demon God’s Avatar? Just that old skeleton of yours?”
The Heaven Ghost glanced back; at this moment, a third of the hundred-thousand-strong army he brought had collapsed due to the Heaven Dragon’s flame dragon’s Domination.
A third was affected by the intense heat causing their armor to become unbearably hot, emitting a pungent smell of burning flesh and uttering agonized cries.
Only a minority of elite soldiers in battle formation were able to react on time, channeling ghost force to protect their armor, shielding them from the terrifying heat.
“Assistance? The weak need crowds whereas the strong walk alone. I certainly don’t need help from the weak.”
Surrounded by fire light as divine as hell itself, the flame dragon twisted the blue sky into crimson haze, carrying the vast force of Domination as it descended towards the Divine Zone.
The collision between the two shook the void, sparks capable of boiling seas and overturning rivers burst forth, creating a pitch-black crack in the Divine Zone, showcasing just how terrifying a full-force strike from a Ghost Immortal could be.
“It’s just an avatar.”
Heaven Dragon looked at Heaven Ghost with contempt, his figure suddenly vanished on the spot, appearing within the crack.
“These worshippers really do like to act high and mighty because of their age!”
A thick blood light flashed across the sturdy long horn on Heaven Ghost’s head, as he quietly watched Heaven Dragon being devoured by the pitch-black void.
“Convey my command, arrange the thirty-six Aries Dragon Formation, and advance in order. Those who dare defy my orders, those who retreat even a step, behead them.”
Boom, boom, boom.
Accompanied by an earthquake and shaking mountains, this powerful army capable of flattening any mansion followed Heaven Ghost into the Empty Zone.
…
“Finally, they’ve arrived!” a trace of relief flickered in Void Willard’s eyes.
If the Heaven-Demon Guard from the great Umbral Capital had been even a bit later, he would have been assimilated and devoured by the endless will of the Unborn Void God.
Thankfully, his plan had ultimately not gone awry.
On the other side, feeling the tremors of the Divine Zone, David Jones, who could have used Hidden Dragon Fire to leave the Divine Zone, suppressed the urge in his heart and turned his eyes towards the direction of the tremors.
“I hope everything is successful.”
The next second, the warm sensation in his hand shifted David Jones’s attention—it was his unworthy disciple Rossetti Lindwood.
Perhaps because the energy within the Blood Cleansing Pearl was too strong, or perhaps the Blood Cleansing Pearl itself had the downside of leading negative emotions, causing Rossetti’s strength to stall after reaching the mid-stage of Ghost King Elite, with the vast majority of the remaining energy stored deep within her bloodline, triggering emotions related to desire from her Seven Deadly Sins.
Thus, while her physical body collapsed and continuously repaired itself, she charged at David Jones, her azure fiery eyes even reminding him of a succubus in heat.
Fortunately, David Jones’s strength was outstanding. In the state of Emperor’s Frost Armor, he suppressed the daring disciple with just one finger, sending her into a deep sleep.
“Hasn’t the negative effect of the Blood Cleansing Pearl been suppressed yet?” David Jones frowned slightly.
The key moment to annihilate the Demon God was approaching, and he did not want his disciple to fail at a critical moment.
“It’s not a big problem, it will be resolved soon,” Rossetti subconsciously withdrew her arm.
However, David Jones, who activated his Illusion-Piercing Eye, could see through the sleeve the continuously cracking and repairing fair skin on her arm and the increasingly nimble black lines.
“Don’t overexert yourself. Remember my words, you only need to inscribe the Rune and bury the jade stones with Rainbow to complete your mission.”
“Understood,” Rossetti answered with her head lowered, her beautiful eyes involuntarily drifting toward the sky in the right front direction.
Boom! A thunderclap out of the blue!
Like a deity descending from the heavens, an old man with bulging muscles and eyes swirling with dragon fire descended amidst an overwhelming sea of flames. He struck a palm at the head of the Unborn Void God, shattering its exquisitely beautiful face.
The horrific flames swept out, burning the terrifyingly shaped Sun-Moon Wheel Flower beneath the Unborn Void God to nothing.
“Such is the might of a Demon God’s avatar!”
The old man, with his back to David Jones, said lightly.
