Chapter 47 - Deity’s True Form...
The other Elite members seemed like they were from the native of this world.
Kesha glanced at the empty seat. The person who
owned it was still recovering at the moment. He was sent to the famous magical hospital in this city.
Sadly, he had injured himself at that time when they fought the rank C+ Mustang Spider. But because of having great talents in magic and owning 4 different types of ability for being a fledgling trainee only was more than enough for him to acquire a seat as an Elite trainee without going through the test.
Kesha could only sigh and prayed for his fast recovery.
Next to her was a man with medium length red hair. He was sitting calmly while closing his eyes and arms across his chest. With his right leg on top of his left knee.. This person was no other than Mai's cousin, Brai.
Kesha noted that this person was also a handsome man and was kind of mysterious. Unlike the infamous wastrel who only knows how to hurt his comrades.
Everyone certainly thought that that guy would be kicked out from the academy on the first day after he failed to light up the bulb on the test.
He was even passed out many times in physical training. Nothing really was interesting about that guy except for being a joke. He was just wasting his time coming into the academy. It was better for him if he chose to go to a normal school instead of a magic academy. In that regard, he could choose a better course which brings him a fortune in the future.
She was hoping not to see him again. Seeing his unhealthy figure and lack of vigor will ruin her mood for some reason.
It's not like he did something bad at her that's why she disliked him. But because of his awkwardness that seemingly triggered her past self that she mostly tried to forget.
Anyhow, she must rid that guy from inside her mind. Or else, her mood will get spoiled.
"Ahem," Elder Paan purposely cleared her throat to grab everyone's attention. Which she succeeded.
The Elites looked at her and was waiting for her words.
At the moment, she was garbed with a coat embroidered with silvery-white and black colors towards her knee.
Her neatly tied grayish hair was being hung towards her back. Her looks were the same as a 60 years old normal person. However, she already had passed a century of her life.
Everyone was eagerly waiting for her words. But before she spoke out, a deity in green color with the appearance of a pixie that was flying beside her suddenly glowed. Indicates the use of resonance.
Seemingly, a magician can decide whatever their deity's future design is.
Like for example, the deity of Elder Paan looks like a wood fairy. With small transparent greenish wings stick on its back. And two antennas on its cute little head. And with two round big eyes of red in color. Of course, this deity's body was made of special metal. Or commonly known as robotic. Yet, with the addition of its dress and skin color, it looks seemingly a real pixie.
It has a size that is 2x bigger than the water sprite of Elder Gatan. Even Elder Gatan's deity resembled a whale. A whale that was floating in the air. Although he had water sprites, those creatures were from his summoning ability.
Currently, the trainee's deity was only a scrap of metal with no particular form or color. They were mostly round at the moment. Which resembles an egg. It was only natural since they were newbies only. They still needed more money, time, and experience to level their deity to such a degree, like the deities of the elders.
The Elites were silent waiting for Elder Paan's words together with the deities that lay everywhere around them. Some were sitting on top of their heads, some on their shoulders, and on their hands. While Cal, Almina's deity, was sitting like a boss on a table in front of his owner.
Keremi was in his usual closed eyes. Yet, no one inside the room had questioned him if how he could see in such a manner. On top of him was his deity that was sitting comfortably on his head.
Keremi was sitting on the left side of the blonde and on the right side of Almina. Sitting at Almina's left was Kesha then followed by Brai, the Encan girl, and the others in a clockwise manner.
The others were as silent as them, waiting for the Elder to speak. Even the beautiful Encan girl. Who seemingly had a genius-level magic talent as the others, were waiting with her narrowed eyes focused on the elder.
Contrary to everyone's expectations, the elder did not open her mouth. However, the light inside the room automatically died, and a holographic screen as big as a 32 inches TV screen appeared on top of the elder's palm that slightly lifted at waist level facing the ceiling.
The elder tossed the holographic screen to the center of the table. Which landed on a plate-like object in the middle of it.
It was called a Receptor Plate with a magic sequence that was able to transmit and receive magic-based light waves such as the holographic screens the elder produced.
The holographic screen that the elder summoned was a cube with 32 inches square meter. She did it on purpose so that everyone from different angles would be able to see the perfect picture she intended to show.
The Elites were staring at it, wondering what the elder was planning to show.
Second later,
Boom!
Bang!
Wham!
Waaah!
Charge!
Attaaaack!
Ting! Ting! Ting!
Shing! Swoosh! Woosh!
Chaotic scenes with thunderous explosions ringing everywhere around the area where the scene was playing.
It was in the middle of a battlefield!!! Everyone exclaimed in their minds.
The scene was in the middle of the battlefield where humans fought with monsters, demi-humans, and humans themselves.
After 10 minutes of watching the scene that seemed like from a fantasy movie, the scene in the holographic cube ended while showing 10 images in black shade.
But who were those people that shrouded in the dark shade? They could not even identify their tribes. What is the purpose of the elder for showing it to them? Is this related to the topic of today's meeting?
Everyone had such questions in their minds.
