The Mysterious Black Magician

Chapter 360 - Final Four— Yman Versus Kiko

"Eh, what happened to my best friend?!" Bob asked while tapping his head with both hands.

Chloe frowned and Rea narrowed her eyes. She wondered why Crimson looks so exhausted. He looked like he was having a terrible health condition. Perhaps he really is. Looked like Rea's worries had come true!

"Yana, is your brother alright?" Rea asked. Her face was somewhat calm but deep inside she was worrying. Before Yana could reply, "Is he sick? Or does your brother have a hidden illness?" Rea continued asking.

"Uh, eh no Prin… I mean Miss Rea. My brother is just fine this morning and the other day but looking at him right now, he seems to be in a bad condition." Yana almost called her with her status.

Rea clasped her mouth and slightly squinted her eyes. Perhaps Crimson was hit by bad luck. She thought so.

What she couldn't understand was why Crimson didn't forfeit the fight now that he had a bad condition.

Other viewers were also surprised by Yman's weary condition. They also noticed his health points on the health bar was only at 65%. However, even if they want to ask him why he looks like that, that is not possible because the fight is already about to begin and most of the spectators are now eager to see the fight begin.

A big grin could be seen on the face of the rich merchant Mr. Brando. Especially when he saw the condition of Kiko's opponent. "Hehehe. Who is the brainless idiot who betted on that boy that much?! Imperial coins huh. Hehehe. It looks like I will win a lot in this competition. More than winning a lottery! I didn't expect that I could earn that much while just watching this competition. Whoever bets 10,000 Imperial Coins will definitely go home in tears later! Hahaha!"

Merchant Brando laughed out loud. Brando knew that Kiko was the strongest male trainee in the academy. That's why he immediately made a connection with him.

Regardless, the old man who betted 10 gold points to Yman scratched his head. It looks like he would be losing his last penny. Well, that's really how life is. How did his life end so messed up just when he got older. Where will he go after this? He wanted to be with his family until he could no longer get up of his bed.

However, it was all too late. Even if he wins the bet, what he can win will not be enough for him to be able to start a new business again. "Hah~" he just let out a sigh. And again his gaze returned to the arena.

A big smile can be seen on Kiko's face. "Oi! Are you so nervous about our fight that it seems like you haven't slept in a month? Hahaha!" Kiko's cocky remarks. "Or maybe you're planning to back out of the fight, huh!" He continued to tease. Deep inside, in Kiko's mind, 'Tsk! I'm not going to let you back out of this match moron!'

He really wants to beat this frogsh*t until he looks like a grilled frog! He would make sure to unveil how weak Yman was against him!

"....."

Yman did not answer and remained stationary. It would be better for him to conserve his strength than to make noise in vain. Besides, her stomach might get upset again.

"Uhm, Sistela. Are you sure it worked?" He asked his partner.

<Let's see. Maybe I guess.>

"....."

"Wah, that is awful…"

<Well, there's nothing we can do about it. Let's just hope.>

"Hah~ We can only do that then."

<So…well… goodluck to us partner!>

At that moment.

The countdown to start a fight already reached 3 seconds.

Kiko showed a toothy grin. 'This is it!' He thought.

'I can finally torture him without getting punish! I am so waiting for this moment, bastaaaard!' At the end of his line, the timer hit zero. Flame burst out from Kiko's body at the same time when Miss Mora Liz shouted the word, "Begin!"

Kiko accumulated a high temperature flame in his hands, in front of him, facing his opponent.

"He was fast!" In the VIP room, Sunday exclaimed. She never thought Kiko would take the initiative to attack right after the countdown hit zero.

Everyone gasped in that moment as they were watching the accumulation of flame on Kiko's hands. The grin on Kiko's face grew wider. He wasn't an idiot who would lower his guard and feel pity for his opponent just because his enemy looks like he is in a terrible health condition.

In fact he knew about Yman's ability to cancel his opponent's spell. Kiko was repeatedly rewatching Yman's matches from day one till now. Not because he thought Yman was a worthy opponent, but because Kiko didn't want any consequences.

He had no idea how Yman acquired that ability, but Kiko doesn't care about it now. He already learned the weakness of that ability through some source of information. He was a genius after all. Planning is just a childlike game to him. He's smart and he can easily outwit his opponent. Kiko believes so.

Anyway, wasn't a one-shot kill the coolest win befitting to him? Yes. Kiko planned to one-shot this frog!

"Now! Die!"

"Flamesho—-!?"

Thud!

"Ekh!?"

Kiko's words stopped right before mentioning it and a groan escaped from his mouth at the same time.

The flame he accumulated instantly disappeared. His vision became blurry as his pupils in the eyes were trembling. His knees were losing strength too as well as his legs and arms. All that because of a strong impact he felt from the back of his neck.

"W-w-what the f-f-f*ck is h-ha-happening…"

Thud!

He fell on the floor upside down. All the noise instantly disappeared as though a divine being descended from the sky. All the onlookers were dumbfounded at what happened.

"DOOOWN!" Mora Liz's voice resounded loud and clear.

"....."

WHAT THE HELLLLL!!!

Merchant Brando and Kiko's friends shouted in their minds.
