Chapter 92 - First Meet (1)

Chapter 92 - First Meet (1)

As the cold and alerting voice entered her ears, she knew that she had landed herself into a deep dare.

For a few seconds, Jennifer was frozen on the ground.

She can feel her legs weren't ready to lift up and turn around at all, because of the fear of facing him.

Her grip on the frame loosened as she managed to slip it inside the same drawer and close it without making any noise.

Biting her lower lip, her heart was thumping against her chest so loudly. A heart failure will surely happen today!

"I asked you, Jennifer. What are you doing here?" He once again repeated his question, which made a sigh escape her lips.

Understanding that it will be useless to hide anything from him, she finally turned around.

Lifting her eyes, she looked into cold and deep eyes and instantly feel fear consuming her.

From his voice, all that she found was that he wasn't in any great mood.

"I..I.. was just lazy and getting bored. Roaming here and there.., I thought that what must the there inside this room so I came inside to find.." as she finished her words, Jennifer waited for him to speak something ahead.

In contrast to her explanation, Javier simply took large steps and came closer to her pity body.

He used his hand to lift her chin and face his eyes.

The difficulty to keep her eyes open despite the sensation which was present in her stomach was hard.

Somewhere the amount of feat that consumed her at this point was high. "W..What happened?"

"Don't come to this room from now on. Go out, I will come.." as those words left his mouth, Jennifer instantly nodded her head, breaking the grip from his hand.

Taking a few steps back, Jennifer moved out of the room leaving everything behind.

Her entire face was covered with sweat and her eyes were almost on the verge of crying. Not because he was rude, yet the fear of being caught straightaway.

Meanwhile, Javier stayed back in the room and saw how fastly she left the place.

His eyes which were a few moments ago aloof simply turned gentle at her departure.

There was a reason behind his every action yet he never spoke about it. But that doesn't mean that he will just keep quiet and won't say anything against her actions.

It was already risky for her, to get exposed and here she was..

He walked towards the drawer and took out the photo frame which hadn't completely slid inside.

He knew very well that she saw the picture but he was still composed. Probably because he knew she won't have recognized the photographs.

At this point, his eyes fell on the photo frame to see the two photographs.

The picture of two ladies and a smile appeared on his lips. A bitter and faint smile curved on his lips reminiscing the past, which was as sweet l as before...

*Past*

The young nineteen-year-old Javier was sitting in his university's cafeteria with all find his friends. Gossiping and talking about the random stuff when the topic of the class was raised.

"Guys, which subject have you taken? You know I heard that a girl from a new state has arrived." One of his friends said to which Javier didn't react.

He was wearing a big cap to hide his face.

Only his friends were able to see his entire face clearly.

As Javier had no interest to reveal his identity ever since there is no way that people will keep calm after knowing him.

"I heard that she is quite beautiful. Too bad that she is from another state. Otherwise, I would have surely asked her out." His other friend commented but thus made his brows frown

Javier looked at his friend and asked in the most uncertain tone, "You mean to say.. from Smith's land?"

"True brother. Who would have guessed that people from that state can make up to such a reputable university? Especially when they are nothing but dumb!"

"Probably right!" Their laughter was heard again and both the boys clapped their hands in a fun-loving manner.

But this made Javier seriously alerted, "Who is the girl though? I heard that...their girls aren't allowed to go out..."

One of his friends made a face, in confusion that he has no idea about the same. Not preying on the same conversation, his friends didn't speak much about the girl.

The talks moved from one topic to another but the curiosity to know about the girl, who came from Smith and was still there.

In the end, before their class was going to start, Javier spoke to his friend.

"Guys let us go and see who the girl is. At least we should be wary of her too.." the idea was liked by everyone and they all agreed.

Moreover, it was told that the girl's current class is on their way. They walked in the direction where one man found out that she was currently in an ongoing class.

At the thought of this, he mumbled. "Don't worry, we will simply see through the window."

"Rather, why are you suddenly so excited to meet her? She is from your enemy's group, you don't want anyone to disclose your identity as a Johnson here right?" His friend reminded him of the reality, from which he is trying to hide.

Recalling about being Johnson, Javier simply covered his face with the cap of the hood to add more covers. 'Now there will be no chance for her to recognize me at any cost.'

With this thought, they all walked near the window of the one classroom, to witness that all the students were already concentrating on the lecture of the teacher.

"Who is she?" His other friend asked another, when one of them pointed towards a girl in the corner of the classroom, wearing spectacles.

"THERE! She is, Jennifer Taylor!"
