Chapter 565 - 565 She must be happy!
565 She must be happy!
A girl came forward with a few white flowers in her hand. A few strips of her hair were tied back with a clip and the rest of them were left open reaching to her neck. She found her eyes lifted to see a tomb in front of her gaze and a small smile graced her lips.
Bending down, she placed the flowers on the tomb as she read the name sweetly under her breath. “Muma…” words rolled from her mouth but only a smile lingered on her lips. She placed a soft kiss on the tomb and caressed it with her silky hands to finally lift herself from the ground and rub her clothes to remove the dust.
Adjusting herself, Ariana ran back and held her father’s hand who hadn’t taken his gaze away from the tomb for a minor second. “Dad, the mother must be missing us, right?” She asked with a little doubtful gesture but Javier passed her a small nod.
“She must be my girl. Probably seeing us from where she is.” Javier gave her another set of flowers before pointing out at the other tomb, “Place them there.” Without raising any questions, Ariana left Javier’s hand and walked to the other tomb of her younger twin sister who was no more in this world.
Ariana did the same gesture and placed the flowers and conversed with her for some time. A few steps away from her, Javier only remained motionless. He had no words to say and neither was he in any position to greet the tombs since, in his heart, they both are still very much alive.
‘Four years have passed…’ with a sigh, Javier ruffled his hair with his left hand and tugged them back into his pockets. He was wearing a dark-colored long clock and a scarf wrapped around his neck. The day was the most dangerous in his history which was still holding the nightmares in his life.
To this date, he failed to overcome the pain in his heart from the accident or the deliberate murder of his beloved wife. She was killed in the accident but subconsciously, she took his joy with her and they dug deep and stood in the grave with her body.
Similarly, his eyes found themselves traveling to read the other name, his other daughter whom he failed to find after two years of hard work. Her body was nowhere to be seen from that accident and later on, he had a swollen hard truth that she fell into the fire forest.
Despite the multiple loopholes in the accident, he had made sure to punish those defaulters. He failed to receive the answer to multiple questions but he stored vengeance in his blood and avenged them by taking the lives of people …
.....
He provided Smiths with a merciless death, which was worse than what he had offered to his father. The entire state was aware of how Javier Johnson turned into an emotionless maniac and was merciless to kill those who betrayed him.
But at the same time, his heart did beat only for his other daughter whom Jennifer left behind for him. His mind was constantly worried about her well-being, maybe that was the only reason for his utmost devotion and closeness to his beautiful child.
Bringing himself out of the daze, Javier lowered his head to remove the tears from the brink of his eyes. He could never appear weak at this point… he has suffered for four years, and so be it for upcoming years too.
Finally, Ariana walked by his side once again and passed him a wide grin, “I’m sure mom and sister must be happy where they are. God will give them all happiness, dad.”
“I’m pretty much sure God will, Ari. Have you greeted them properly?” Ariana nodded. “Very well. We should go now.” Javier swept himself again at those tombs before turning around to walk out from the cemetery and his bodyguards trailed them again.
Ariana was accustomed to this lifestyle of being protected. She looked up to her father and gloominess didn’t fade but she had no reason to throw tantrums. “Can I take a leave today, father?”
“No, Ari. A simple day shouldn’t be the reason for you missing your school. Strongly attend it.” Javier’s reminder made Ariana understand that there was no narrow escape from school.
They sat inside the car and the driver drove them to her school. Ariana picked up her bag and was on her knees to give her father a kiss on his cheeks. “Don’t be sad today dad. Mommy won’t be happy and must be displeased with me for not taking care of you .”
Javier patted her head as a giant smile reached his mouth, “Don’t worry about your father. Just be a good girl and attend those classes. You should go before you are late.” Ariana dashed out of the car and ran in the gate’s direction.
Until now, Javier sat inside in his car and saw Ariana properly entering the gates only then did he sigh. “Towards office.”
“Yes, boss.”
His tone changed and so did his demeanor. He was no longer the happy father. Now transformation to a ruthless businessman was swift since his emotions were still locked in the depth of his mind.
Within a few minutes, Javier arrived at his office to be revived by Ellen who was in the cabin to report about the regular of the day.
“Javier, we have a meeting in an hour and then a meeting after lunch. As per your wish, I have kept your schedule free for the night.” Ellen expressed the details of the client Javier listened to without blinking his eyes.
After a pause, Ellen hesitated to answer and said “Your trip has been planned accordingly. Your family must be happy to receive you there.”
“Have you informed them about our arrival?” Javier asked and Ellen gave him a positive reply, “We have sent a message to them yesterday. They must be overjoyed.”
But then, Ellen had to be very versatile and changed his tone to the first cough lightly and then asked with care, “Wanna bring Ariana to this trip?”
