Chapter 11: 11 - Good Quality Criminal
Chapter 11: 11 - Good Quality Criminal
Derrick then left the mercenary bar.
Walking through the alley outside the bar, Derrick fiddled with the black card in his hand.
The card he took was {One thousand USD for killing Iwan Kharastov, a member of the Russian Ross gang}.
It was one of the relatively low-danger black card commissions that Derrick could easily take.
It's not that Derrick didn't want to accept a higher level black card entrustment, the main reason is that before accepting the entrustment, one needs to pay a deposit of 10% of the entrustment fee to the broker.
Definitely, Derrick didn't have the money, but fortunately, Weasel helped him pay for it temporarily.
After accepting the entrustment, Weasel provided some information about the target, which was the basic information attached to the entrustment, including several places and bars that the target person frequented.
However, all the places were a little far away from him.
Moreover, Derrick was not familiar with the place he was in right now. He doesn't know which direction to go.
In this case, taking a taxi was the best choice but Derrick didn't even have a penny in his pocket, so how could he have the money to take a taxi?
"Hey, you there. You Ching Chong Ping Pong."
Before Derrick walked out of the alley, two young men suddenly blocked Derrick's way. One of them grinned wide, revealing two gold front teeth, "Hand over your rice money and mobile phone..."
However, before he finished speaking, Derrick raised his foot and kicked him between his legs.
The big gold-toothed man stared wide-eyed, his eyeballs almost squeezed out of his sockets, he knelt down on the ground in a splayed position with his hands between his legs, his expression seemed dull as he let out an unconscious whine.
The other man with dirty braids was stunned. It's not like they hadn't seen resistance ever before robbing but it's their first time seeing such a unique one.
Sensing what could happen next, the man with braids covered his crotch area with his hands.
He was ready to defend his vital part but, in the process, he forgot to defend his even more vital part, his face.
Derrick punched the man's face and knocked him down.
Derrick then stretched out his hand to touch the man who was down. He took out a pistol from his waist.
"No hate but, as expected of Free America, a 100% weapon drop rate."
Derrick sighed and then pointed the gun at the man with dreadlocks.
Facing the long black muzzle of the gun, without saying a word, the man with dreadlocks raised his hands and put them on the back of his head decisively. He then lay down on the ground, expressing that he did not wish to resist at all.
The movements were so smooth that Derrick wondered if he had rehearsed in advance.
The man with the dreadlocks knew they were in trouble, and tried to explain, "Bud, this may be a misunderstanding. We were just joking with you."
"Oh, it's okay, I like to joke too. Give me a chance." Derrick opened the safety of the pistol, put the muzzle on the forehead of the man with dreadlocks and asked him with a bright smile on his face, "Now, tell me. How bad are you? I will consider letting you go based on that so be careful."
"...The hell?" The man made a confused expression as he asked.
Derrick urged impatiently, "Open your mouth quickly or I'll shoot,"
Under the threat of gunpoint, the man with dreadlocks had no choice but to say, "I have robbed money and mobile phones of a few passers-by."
Derrick looked at the system panel and there was an extra line of text next to the unlocking conditions.
[Target does not meet the conditions]
Derrick shook his head, "You're good,"
The black man with dreadlocks almost choked himself. He didn't expect that the record he had worked so hard to achieve would be negated one day.
Therefore, the black man with dreadlocks continued unwillingly, "I won't pay after sleeping with girls in the strip clubs."
"Still not bad enough."
"I peeked at the next-door married neighbour taking a shower!"
"That's not too bad."
"It was a man."
"...That's crazy, but not bad enough."
"I....."
The man with dreadlocks seemed to have opened up like a chatterbox, constantly yapping about his crimes.
This was something that the New York Police Department couldn't do but now Derrick was doing it without any effort.
But Derrick was not happy with the quality of the criminal he crossed paths with.
Looking at the words that he still didn't meet conditions on the panel, Derrick said in a disgusted tone, "No way, that's all? With such a grade, I'm ashamed to come out and say that you guys attacked me. I'm really embarrassed!"
The man was silent.
"Forget it. I already had an idea that the achievements would not be so easy to unlock."
Derrick shook his head in disappointment and also took out a pistol from the waist of the other knocked-out man then looked at the two of them.
"Take out all the valuable things on your body and give them to me. Don't play any tricks with me."
The two men with dirty braids knew that they had fallen, they took out all the cash and mobile phones as if they had already resigned to their fate. Together with his companion, who had been lying on the ground even after waking up, they took everything out of their pockets.
Derrick was still dissatisfied and said, "Did you not hear what I said? I said all the valuable things, including the two gold teeth in this big guy's mouth. Ah also, your Jordans look good..."
It was at that moment that he understood, compared with the devil in front of him, his bad deeds were really nothing.
