The Goblin's Leveling System!

Chapter 97: The Last Day Of Preparation

Chapter 97: The Last Day Of Preparation

I had eaten all of the demonic hearts and brains of the archdemons.

It took me at least 6 hours to fully digest the demonic hearts and brains of the archdemons and absorb their stats via [Indestructible Element Devouring Stomach].

Your skill that could absorb the stats and skills of other beings by eating their flesh is sure is overpowered. If other monsters had this skill, then the other sentient races would be doomed.

You're right about that, Axel 2.

It would have been a disaster if all monsters had this skill especially those monsters who had high reproduction rates such as goblins.

I had gotten 125 million base stats in defense, 120 base stats in attack, 110 million base stats in speed, 108 million base stats in intelligence, 105 million base stats in wisdom, and 41 million base stats in luck.

I had failed to absorb 2 out of the 4 archdemons' stats that I had devoured excluding Damien Miles.

I only got the [Demonization] skill from the other 4 archdemons since I had failed to acquire skills from the other 3 archdemons excluding Damien.

Had you ever thought that maybe the Damien Miles you had killed wasn't the real Damien Miles and instead just a clone?

What made you said that? The chances were slim that Damien Miles had another clone and the original body was in the Demon Continent.

Don't take it too seriously. I'm just stating a possibility. It's up to you to find the truth about it.

I see... How did you think of such a possibility?

I had browsed through some of your memories during your fight with the archdemons and I found it suspicious that Damien wasn't afraid of death and instead, was hell-bent on killing you and your teammates.

So you're saying that the Damien Miles that I had fought might have been only a clone of the original body and its power was only a fraction of the original body?

I haven't said some of what you had speculated but yes. I suggest you remain vigilant when you head towards the Monster's Abode. There might be some demons who were waiting to ambush you in the Monster's Abode or some monsters who were controlled by the demons.

Thanks for the reminder. I haven't asked you this so I might as well ask.

What personality are you?

Cautiousness. You are lucky that you got me from another personality skill.

Indeed. I'll head back to the Holy Church and tell the other heroes to remain vigilant when we would enter the Monster's Abode.

I got up from my sitting position and left the cave that I had stayed at.

I ran and jumped from tree to tree until I had arrived at the training ground.

Some of the junior heroes were being trained and coached by my teammates while Alex and Distere were having solo training.

I had seen that Alex was creating mana blades which were similar to the mana blades that I had used to fight against the archdemons.

So Alex was a genius that was able to copy the skills that he had saw and witnessed.

Distere had also improved by several levels and it just showed that he had diligently trained.

His wood carving skills were able to apply minor details that were hardly noticeable.

His wood carving skills would be able to put wood carving masters to shame.

Of course, he was using his mana when he had carved on the woodblocks.

I passed by the training ground and I went to the entrance of the Holy Church and entered it.

There was only 1 junior hero inside the Holy Church.

I had noticed that Mathew was inside his room using [Mana Search] magic which I took inspiration from cultivation novels that used their Qi to search for energy flows.

I got out of the Holy Church and went to the House that I had built before.

The house that I had built was situated beside the Holy Church and in front of the training ground.

I went near the house and peeked through the window.

I saw Aerin and Aileen who were studying together about magic and other related subjects.

Seeing that Aerin was fine, I went to the treehouse that was situated beside the house that I had built.

Inside the treehouse, Pedonar was diligently studying death magic and practicing his death magic skills.

I went towards the training ground and I had decided to personally teach both Distere and Alex about some sword skills that I had known.

I saw that Sophie and Zale were both teaching their disciples about some magic skills that they had often used.

I activated [Flight] and headed towards the training ground where Alex and Distere were currently training at.

I landed on the ground smoothly and went to Alex and Distere.

I performed several swordsmanship techniques that I had took inspiration from cultivation novels and taught them to Alex and Distere.

They performed what I had taught them and they gradually improved in using the swordsmanship techniques that I had taught them.

Alex also boasted about the swordsmanship technique that he had created himself but I doubt it was an original technique considering most of the heroes were from another world.

Since most of the heroes were from another world, they could just copy and took inspiration from the skills and techniques that they had read from novels or watched from animes.

I also took the leisure time to train on my own and practice the [Fake Presence] skill that I had obtained from Damien Miles.

Axel 2 was the one who had activated the [Fake Presence] skill while I was the one who moved my body and performed my swordsmanship while the skill was active.

After I had finished my training, I went to check how Alex and Distere were doing.

Seeing that Alex and Distere were now focusing on their training, I went to the house that I had built where Aerin and Aileen were currently staying at.

I entered the house and greeted Aerin and Aileen.

I went to my bed and lied down there. I closed my eyes and slept peacefully.

"Tomorrow is gonna be another tiring day."
