The Goblin's Leveling System!

Chapter 82: The Emergency Task/Mission Was Indeed An Emergency

Chapter 82: The Emergency Task/Mission Was Indeed An Emergency

*Affirmative!*

The system had shown me a translucent light blue screen in front of me.

I read the contents of the emergency mission.

C+ Rank Emergency Mission

-Save us much as many people as possible and minimize the number of casualties.

Reward:

None (The host had already received it)

So I'm doing a mission without any rewards since I had already received it?

Why do I felt unmotivated?

Was this the reason why the bosses of every company would give the paycheck to their employees every end of the month so that the employees would get motivated to work hard just to earn their paycheck?

Now I felt that I had no reason to accomplish the emergency mission even though I had known that if I would not execute the mission, then the lives of others would be at stake.

If it was related to Axel then I wouldn't hesitate to save him and do the emergency task just for his sake but this system had given me a task to save a stranger's life.

I knew that I had picked the right system! I wanted to repent for the wrongdoings that I had done in my past life and this system was what I had needed to do so.

I'm not the type to help others just for the sake of justice but a person who helps others because I wanted to.

Never mind, I shan't think about it too much or it would give me a headache.

I need to focus on increasing my power and even though I can't increase my level yet, the training method that Axel had thought me was enough to increase the stats.

Moreover, I had asked the God Of the Worldly System to improve my physical body and stats so even if there was trouble, I am confident that I will be able to overcome it.

I imbued my mana into the wooden sword that I was currently holding and evenly circulate my mana into the wooden sword.

Just what Axel had told me, the power of the wooden sword's flash was doubled due to its mana not leaking from the sword when I imbued my mana unto it.

Alex had drastically improved after he reincarnated into this world.

Although his appearance was not similar to the one that he had from his past life, he was still the Axel I knew but much colder.

I guessed that the reason why he wasn't reincarnated as a human even though he could have just asked the God Of the Worldly System to reincarnate him into a human was that he doesn't want to be from the same race that had made me suffer.

Well, he also planned to make his race into a monster since he wouldn't be held accountable if he caused a mass genocide.

I had noticed that Axel was much more compassionate to his teammates than the others and only present his cold facade whenever he met someone he wasn't familiar with.

I had come up with such an assumption because he didn't show me that much of a cold personality compared to the other recently summoned heroes.

I'll think about that later. Right now, what was important was to improve my speed stat.

I did not need to improve both my attack and defense stat since my main class was a mage and if I improve my speed stat, I would be able to avoid any attack and it would just make my defense stat pointless if it wasn't used to defend attacks.

The most important stat was intelligence since it would improve my magic attack and second to it was wisdom since it would improve my mana pool and my mana recovery rate.

The most useless stat was luck since it could only improve the chance of critical attack and damage of a critical attack and it was mostly used by the rogue and assassin class.

It was pointless for me to increase my luck stat and attack stat since I would be relying on my magic attack.

I had asked Axel to teach me swordsmanship because I had already asked the God Of the Worldly System to teach me magic and he taught me both basic and advanced magic.

Therefore, asking Axel to teach me magic will be rather meaningless and if I was taught by him how to wield the sword, I could combine both my sword skills and magic and I will become a magic swordsman.

A magic swordsman was one of the best classes there was since it had a balance of both physical and magical attacks.

I also think that Axel had become a magic swordsman by judging the amount of mana he had and his in-depth understanding and skills about the way of the sword.

It was peculiar that he went alone in the forest but I decided not to probe him about that since he must have a reason to act alone.

Well, if it wasn't for the emergency task that had told me to save the people in this Holy Church then I would have accompanied Axel so that I could slay monsters and increase my level.

By increasing my level, I could earn stat points which I would use to allocate in my speed stat.

How about I put weights on my feet so that I can use that method of increasing my speed?

It's worth the shot!

I heard that there was a goblin hero that could steal anything from anywhere as long as he knew what things to steal.

I should ask him a favor and persuade him to steal some weights so that I can equip them on my feet.

If he wouldn't listen to my request, then I could just tell him that Axel had requested me to use the thing that I wanted him to steal for me as my training equipment.

He will undoubtedly listen to my request if I mention Axel's name since Axel was their team leader.

I had decided!

I will now go to where the goblin hero who could steal anything was located at!
