Chapter 101: RPG-like Leveling Training In Monster's Abode (3)

Axel's PoV:

I was currently up in the sky with my teammates, flying and surveilling the battle of the recently summoned heroes against the monsters from the Monster's Abode.

The six recently summoned heroes were separated and their separation was because of me.

Each of them fought against one level 1500 monster that I had subdued earlier and I had commanded such monsters to fight the heroes.

Of course, I would step in if the heroes were at death's door but if I helped them sooner, what's the purpose of going in this place to train?

The purpose of this trip towards this place was for them to accumulate a life and death battle experience and to let them know that this world was not to be taken lightly.

If they were at the hands of the demons, then they would have suffered a much terrible fate than being forced to battle such weak monsters.

The torture that the demons would inflict on them if they were captured might be much more severe than the torture that I had experienced from the hands of the scientists back on earth since demons could use different kinds of mind magic.

They were lucky that today's life and death battle training was spearheaded and orchestrated by me.

Since I was a bit of a perfectionist, I tried my best to create a flawless life and death training experience for the heroes that wouldn't kill or leave a permanent disability towards the heroes.

I also had the help and advice of my [Another Personality] skill which I had called Axel 2 or sometimes as 'Cautiousness'.

Axel 2 was like my overly cautious personality that was split from my personality and had a mind of its own.

Therefore, Axel 2 was able to give me advice on how to prevent further mishaps in my plan and would give me the outcome of my actions that would lead to my or someone's demise.

Axel 2 might often be too paranoid but what more could I ask for if I wanted to be cautious regarding my safety?

Anyways, It took me at least 10 minutes to enact my plan and the time it took to capture and tame (threaten) the monsters were also included.

I also took the liberty to set up arrays that were to mess up the senses of the heroes and to let them think that they were walking in a straight path with their teammates but instead, had gone left or right, deviating from their path.

From the view up here in the sky, it seemed as if the heroes had voluntarily decided to leave their teammates on their own to walk in another direction while they talked to the teammates that they had hallucinated like a mental patient talking to its imaginary friends.

And before that had transpired, I activated the [Fake Presence] skill to let Alex and the other heroes who had keen senses thought that I was still with them.

While those heroes that I had fooled thought that I was keeping an eye on them to see if they were safe from harm like a caring individual, I had already ditched them and had let my teammates watch over them.

Pedonar and Aileen had kept tabs towards the heroes and gave me the heroes' location so that I would know if I would accidentally run into them.

While I was away, I chose the location in the forest where the life and death battle would take place.

After that, I used my understanding and skills about arrays to create 6 obscuring arrays which acted like a barrier that would cause the beings inside the array to unconsciously avoid the boundary of the array.

It would prevent the heroes from leaving inside the array and would let them thought as if they were going in circles.

Then, I placed a protective array outside the obscuring arrays on every 6 locations so that if a hero had accidentally managed to break free from the illusions and would decide to get out of the place, they would still be trapped inside.

I also added an array to repair the damages on the surroundings so that the forest wouldn't be wiped out clean.

There might be some of the heroes who were smart enough to destroy the surroundings just to reveal the monsters that would use the surroundings to hide and took advantage of the terrain.

I had created such an array to prevent that outcome from happening. Alex 2 had suggested that to me.

After finishing on setting and preparing the location of the life and death training field between the heroes and the monsters, I had roamed the forest to capture monsters alive so that the monsters would be the training partners for the heroes.

I captured level 1500 monsters and signed a contract with them just to make sure that the heroes wouldn't die because of the monsters.

Even if I hadn't signed a contract with the monsters, the monsters wouldn't dare to kill the heroes if I commanded them to do so since I had shown them that my power was way out of their league.

The contract part was just a precaution and even the dragon king had threatened the monsters and had said to the monsters that they should feel honored that I had asked them to train with the heroes.

The dragon king was pissed off about the fact that I had to sign a contract with such insignificant monsters.

I had told him that lowering our pride to ask such monsters was for the sake of helping the heroes becoming stronger and using them, later on, to fight against the demon lords' army while my teammates and I would be the ones to fight against the demon lords.

It might be heartless and hypocritical for me to claim that I was only helping the heroes become stronger even though I would use them later on.

But if the heroes would look on the bright side, I had only used them to fight against the lackeys of the demon lords while my teammates and I would fight against the demon lords which was much harder to deal with.

I had also decided not to enslave the heroes for who knows what reason.

I spectated the battle of the heroes against the level 1500 monsters and they were in good condition except for the fact that they had minor wounds.

"The heroes are lucky that I had planned this training to both improve their skills and experience with utmost perfection!"

|You wouldn't have been able to create a full-proof plan like that without my help.|

I would still be able to do so but the time it would take to create such a plan without any mishaps would be at least 15 minutes.

But yeah, thanks for your help. I wouldn't be able to quickly do this without you.

|Praise my talents more!|

Why do I have such an arrogant alter ego? Sigh...
