The Founder of Qi Cultivation, Reincarnates?

Chapter 38 36- Fleeing Like Demented Spirits In The Night Sky… Yang Su’s Results

When everyone heard this person’s words, they all simultaneously turn to look at the elder who was in charge of the testing.

The elder frowned upon seeing this before he spoke up and said, “This was a Spirit Artifact personally crafted by our Academy’s Leader.”

Hearing the elder’s words, the opinion of the testing tool being damaged was completely erased from everyone’s minds.

However, that leaves the question of what the hell was the test results just now. If they read the information correctly, this youth was in the Blood Purifying Realm while still having 20 of his meridians opened.

This left everyone flabbergasted, as this was something they had never before been seen or even heard of happening in the cultivation world.

Sun Wu Fen had a solemn expression on his face as he turned to look at Ghuanyu, who still wore a placid expression.

He now knew why he did not react to his son’s cultivation level.

‘Did old man Ghuanyu actually succeed? From the fact that he was willing to reveal this so openly, then he must have gained some success in reshaping the cultivation of the Four Physical Realms.’

Sun Wu Fen’s expression became even more solemn, almost bordering on horrified, as thoughts of what this meant appeared in his mind.

The Ming Clan had discovered a way to opened meridians while still being in the Blood Purifying Realm. They had basically turned the entire cultivation system in the Four Physical Realm on its head.

‘This-this is impossible! Just how could old Ghuanyu accomplish such a feat?! Just thinking about the consequences of this shocking matter, I can’t help but feel a cold chill down my spine.’

Not only was Sun Wu Fen the only one reacting like this, but the other Clan Leaders’ expressions were also constantly changing.

The disciples in the crowd had no idea how loud of a bang had gone off among the various clans and aristocratic families when that youth’s results were shone.

Even the senior Inner Disciples had confused expressions on their faces. They didn’t know what was going on or why that youth from the Ming Clan had 20 of his meridians opened despite being in the Blood Purifying Realm.

Suddenly, several swooshing sounds could be heard as people in a particular Pavilion leaped out and took off in a streak of dazzling light towards their clans.

Soon after, more and more aristocratic family and clan members started leaping out of their Pavilions, not even bothering to use the door, before flying towards the horizon.

Seeing this, all of the disciples down below became stunned to see so many high-profile figures frantically flying away as if they were being chased by ten thousand demons and ghosts.

“Just what the hell is happening?”

An Outer Disciple murmured while he watched with wide eyes the Pavilions in the surrounding venue being empty one by one as the VIP guests the Celestial Academy had invited started fleeing like demented spirits in the night sky.

Xi Shen, who was already seated up from his slouched position in his chair, had narrowed eyes as he looked between the youth that had just tested his cultivation and Ghuanyu who still wore a placid expression on his face.

“Little Shen, I’ll be leaving. I have to go see father, the Ming Clan is plotting something.”

Xi Shen turned to see Fu Wei getting up with a solemn expression on his face.

Xi Shen only nodded his head in confirmation at his brother, before the latter slowly floated out of the Pavilion’s top floor and into the open.

Everyone’s eyes in the venue suddenly landed on him as he floated motionlessly in the air.

Fu Wei’s gaze was directed at Ghuanyu, but the latter ignored it.

Fu Wei’s eyes then released a glow of multicolored light, that caused everyone to close their eyes from its brightness. When they opened their eyes, they saw that Fu Wei was nowhere to be seen.

Xi Shen who had been able to keep his eyes open since his brother’s back was to him, saw that he had immediately vanished even before the light could fade away.

Mumbling under his breath Xi Shen said, “That’s a Nascent Soul cultivator’s natural ability, Spatial Teleportation. That’s actually the first time I’ve seen him use it. He always prefer to fly to where he wanted to go.”

After Fu Wei made his dramatic exit, Ghuanyu only took a cursory glance at his previous position before he looked away, the placid expression still on his face.

Seeing even the crown prince leaving, the other Clan Leader’s hesitated for a moment but after glancing at Ghuanyu, they one by one began teleporting away.

Sun Wu Fen being the last one to leave, looked at Ghuanyu and said, “I don’t know what you intend to do by revealing this, or what your goal is, but I prefer the Continent stay as peaceful as it is, there’s no need to provoke a sleeping dragon and cause chaos. As long as the Emperor is alive, there’s no way the Li Clan would lose the throne. Even if your family was once the rulers of the continent and still has some hidden secrets, it won’t do you any good.”

After saying that, Sun Wu Fen looked at Ghuanyu and saw that he still held a calm look on his face, seeming unperturbed by his words.

Letting out a sigh and shaking his head, Sun Wu Fen’s figure suddenly vanished from his seat, leaving old man Ghuanyu alone in the Pavilion.

Reaching for his cup of tea from the table in front of him, Ghuanyu began casually taking sips from it.

With most of the audience gone, both the Inner and Outer Disciples who were there as spectators, as well as participants, couldn’t help but began speculating why those important figures would react in such a big way to this one youth’s test results.

The elder’s voice suddenly echoed out, “Senior Inner Disciples step forward!!”

After several minutes later, all the senior Inner Disciples took their test, and despite there being disciple’s that had 40 or even 50 of their meridians open, people were still shaken up by what just happened to get excited over those results.

The last of the senior Inner Disciple leaped down from the stage before the elder suddenly announced.

“Alright, with the testing over, the Outer Disciples knock-out round will immediately be underway!”

“Elder wait! There is still one more person who has been tested yet!”

Hearing that, the elder frowned and asked, “What? Who? Who hasn’t stepped forward to take the test?!”

“It’s that person at the back, he’s from the newcomers batch!”

A disciple in the crowd said again as he pointed at Yang Su.

Hearing the disciple’s words and seeing Yang Su’s childish features, the elder said, “Since he just enter the Academy, if he doesn’t want to take the test then the Academy won’t force him to do so. Child, do you plan on taking the test?”

Yang Su thought for a moment upon hearing the elder’s question, before he slowly nodded his head.

“Then hurry up and stop wasting time!!”

Yang Su sported a nervous expression on his face as he hurriedly leaped onto the stage. But before he could place his hands on the disk, the elder suddenly frowned and said, “Young man I suggest you release that seal before you take the test, else it might not get an accurate account of your cultivation.”

Yang Su’s hands paused when he heard that, and as he was hesitating about whether to release the seal or not, he heard the voice of Xi Shen echoing out into the venue, “It’s fine Yang Su, you can release it!”

Everyone who hadn’t left the venue turned to look towards the speaker, only to see that it was the second prince. Suddenly, they all collectively remembered the events they saw or heard about Xi Shen taking someone as his assistant.

They had all forgotten about this particular matter, as compared to the other major things that happened that day, Xi Shen taking someone as his assistant was insignificant.

Despite quite a few people leaving the venue, there were still over a hundred thousand pairs of eyes glued on to Xi Shen, which intern went back to stare at Yang Su on the stage.

After getting confirmation from Xi Shen, Yang Su willed the seal within him to unravel, and it immediately did and released his sealed cultivation base.

The elder who was next to him was suddenly taken aback by Yang Su’s sudden sharp rise in his aura when he removed the seal.

‘This child, how much of his cultivation was he hiding for his aura to increase so much after releasing the seal?’

Aside from the elder, only a few people had noticed Yang Su’s sharp climb in aura.

Since Yang Su was keeping his cultivation within his body and wasn’t releasing it into the open, if the elder or anyone else wanted to know his cultivation base, they would need to have the Soul Sense of a Sea Condensation Realm cultivator at the very least, in which they would send out through the air and inspect Yang Su’s cultivation.

But even if the elder was a Nascent Soul cultivator, with his status he wouldn't stoop so low as to secretly scan this youth's cultivation base. And besides, he didn't have to since Yang Su's cultivation results would be soon revealed.

After releasing the seal, Yang Su took in a breath of air to get his released cultivation base under control. Afterward, under the disciples and even the elder’s curious eyes, Yang Su placed his hand on the surface of the disk.

Glowing for a moment, the disk then revealed Yang Su’s results.
