While training outside the room, Eir had transferred a little of his power to Dustin. This was the power that was in conjunction to the god from when he was still on earth, but to fulfil what he needed to do, he had to let transfer a bit of it to Dustin to balance with the dark energy within him which he had absorbed from the demon flesh he had been eating, as Eir had fed him full. During this period, the dark energy within him had fused with his own energy almost becoming one and becoming indistinguishable. Because of this, Dustin had gained the Demonic nature, as the dark energy was taken from demons.
..
[Demonic]
You are extremely compatible with dark energy and less compatible with light energy. You will have a colder temperament and not feel too attached to other races, and negative emotions will not be as suppressed as the positive emotions. Lack of control of these negative emotions may result in the demonic nature influencing your character and decisions. If the demonic nature influences your character too much for too long, it has a high probability of completely turning your mentality to a demon's.
..
The good thing was that Dustin possessed a perfect counter for the demonic nature which will keep it from influencing his character, but he still wasn't hundred percent out of it yet. With his Cold blooded nature that suppresses his emotions, it would extremely difficult for the demonic nature to act up, more so now that it has partnered with the cold blooded nature to further increase Dustin's cold temperament. But seeing that he had a bit of Eir's divine power in him, maybe the demonic nature would really be kept under perfect control.
Apart from that, Dustin's Sixth sense had also greatly benefitted from the training, and his stats had gone beyond what his expectation for them was. Though Eir said his growth was within expected outcome, Dustin couldn't help but feel it was better than that. The only problem now was that even though his skills and stats saw an incredible amount of improvement, his level was completely static, and this didn't play towards his goal to unlock a certain status of his at all.
With the training done, it was time for what Dustin had been training for;
"Remember to search for it when you get back."
"I know. But, like I said we are not on earth right now, so I won't be doing that for some time. I have no idea how long we will stay in that realm, or world."
"It's the same thing. Anyway, are you sure you want to do this now?" Eir asked, his tone carrying just the slightest undertone of seriousness.
Dustin whose head was just down as there was no need to raise it up answered, "You said the time flow here is different, which is supposed to be good, but the fact that it fluctuates makes it a little unsuitable."
To this, if Dustin could see his face, he would see the mocking face Eir had, "what? Afraid your friends will all leave you? Do you really miss them that much?" Eir said knowing about the effects of the demonic energy of Dustin. Dustin could tell the kind of face Eir was making though, not only was he used to his antiques, his sixth sense did a lot.
"Haha, funny."
Eir just scuffed lightly and reminded Dustin to be careful, as he wasn't completely sure Dustin will make it out without any serious repercussion.
"You will-get serious injuries all over, but it might be worse. Your body is really tough now, but I can't really say it's strong enough yet."
"I know, and I've prepared my mind for that. Stop talking about it before you really discourage me."
"Good to see my energy is keeping the dark energy in check. I tell you, you wouldn't be able to look at me if it weren't for it." Eir said as a mischievous smile appeared on his face. Dustin noticed it, but he could tell what it was this time.
.
Both of them spent some time talking to each other for a while longer until time came for Dustin to leave. As though to make some kind of memory, instead of using the portal, Eir sent Dustin out through the door he used to come in initially.
"What's this, some great literature? The portal would've been much easier." Dustin said. Even though his voice was almost normal, Eir could tell it was a jab at his very rib.
"Just shut and leave before I change my mind." Dustin just kept quiet and exited the room.
When he came out, it wasn't within the temple like building he had entered from before, the door just popped out of the sand. When Dustin came out, he almost fell on his back because of the change of angle which he was walking on. 'How's that even possible?' He asked himself. He was walking horizontally for a second there until he stepped out and saw that he was actually vertical. 'Guess it doesn't really matter for now.'
Now that Dustin was out of the room and was standing on desert soil in the sunny part of this world, he just had to wait for Eir to open the gate back. After a minute of waiting, Dustin raised his eyes to the sky and noticed it distorting in form and being sucked in by some kind of force. He couldn't help but think of Uchiha Obito after seeing it. 'Funny how all it took for me to get here was some cheap teleportation circle, but to get out.. I have to go through this alien portal.'
Not letting Dustin finish his thoughts, he felt a great suction force around him, and without resisting, he felt himself being dragged at unreasonable speeds towards the hole in the sky, and in a couple of second he was lost within it, and it closed up.
..
"That's all I can do.. Let's see how well you do Dustin. I place my hope in your."
