The Female Assassin Pretends to Be a Lamb in the Campus

Chapter 4: Kick in the Ass

Chapter 4

Qiao Ying neither affirmed nor denied it.

"Do this problem again," Qiao Yi still didn't believe her and copied out another difficult problem for Qiao Ying to solve.

Qiao Ying glanced over the problem and fell silent, not moving her pen.

Seeing Qiao Ying like this, Qiao Yi curled her lips in disdain, thinking that she must have seen his notebook somewhere and looked up the answer online.

Pretending like this, how bored she must be!

It was also surprising that she could remember all those solution steps with her intellect.

Qiao Yi was about to send her back to her own room so he could do his homework, when he heard Qiao Ying say, "The obtained surface equation is z=x2+y2."

Qiao Yi: "What?"

Qiao Ying: "The answer."

Qiao Yi was stunned for two seconds before skeptically looking up the answer online. When he saw that the answer was exactly the same as what Qiao Ying had said, Qiao Yi was dumbfounded. Looking at the two and a half pages of solution steps below, he looked at his big sister, who had been called an idiot by their mother and second sister for over ten years, as if she was a monster.

She had actually solved the problem in her head...

What a freak.

"Any other problems you don't understand?" Seeing his shocked expression, Qiao Ying found it quite amusing.

In this family, this cheap little brother was still the most pleasing to her eye.

It took Qiao Yi a long time to recover from the shock. Still reasonably, he asked, "You, you actually know how to do this, so why do you test so poorly?"

"Too lazy to move," Qiao Ying casually made up an excuse.

"Then when will you stop being lazy? Will you still be too lazy to move during the college entrance exam?"

"Of course not." She, Xue Ying, had shouldered countless glory and became a legend and myth. When had she ever been so pathetic and subjected to such contemptuous gazes?

No matter what identity she held, even if she was a crippled waste, those people could only look up at her in worship and submission.

She could only stand at the highest place looking down at them.

The idiot sister he had known for over ten years was actually hiding her superb intellect. Qiao Yi couldn't adapt to this sudden change, but an inexplicable trust led him to look forward to what her results would be like when she "wasn't lazy".

"What are you thinking about?"

Qiao Yi shook his head and took out a candy to give her, "You didn't eat much for dinner, you're definitely going to be starving later. Here."

Xue Ying was used to being alone, and looked at the candy in his palm without moving for a moment.

After two seconds of silence she took it.

"You should still lose some weight. You don't know how awful the things people say about you are. Doesn't it upset you to hear them yourself?"

Looking at the candy in her hand, Qiao Ying inevitably felt some goodwill towards this brother who had fallen into her lap.

"I was too lazy to bother with them before, but since they don't know life and death and are overstepping their bounds, I won't be polite anymore. I'll settle accounts with those who bullied me," Qiao Ying said lightly.

Qiao Yi took it as her just spouting nonsense from having hit her head.

"I'm going back to my room." Before leaving, Qiao Ying looked at Qiao Yi's limp left foot.

She could heal Qiao Yi's foot.

Eating the candy lying on the bed, she frowned at the cobwebs covering the ceiling beams. Large swaths of dust floated in the air.

Other than training, missions and organizational requirements, Xue Ying rarely spent time in such annoying environments in private. Although she was born an assassin, her personal life was extravagant and refined. Her spending was even more lavish than most top wealthy businessmen.

Then she remembered the money Li Lilian kept bringing up.

Xue Ying became famous at a young age and had money, power and influence. Any identity she held had wealth that could rival a country.

Unfortunately her soul was now trapped in this body, she couldn't use any of those identities, money or power. She also couldn't withdraw the money.

It didn't matter, she could easily obtain these things whenever she wanted.

Qiao Ying quickly adapted to her new environment and identity. After recuperating at home for two days, she prepared to go to school.

The sky had just brightened when Qiao Ying went out for a morning run.

Of all the new things, the only thing Xue Ying couldn't tolerate was the fat on this body.

Not to mention the inconvenience, just a little danger would be difficult to withstand. She had to quickly restore her original physical fitness.

After working up a sweat, Qiao Ying returned home exhausted.

She rushed through a shower and changed into her school uniform before leaving.

When she stepped out the door, she saw Qiao Yi waiting with his schoolbag at the door.

In the original host's memories, this was the first time Qiao Yi had waited for her to go to school together.

Qiao Yi was also doing this for the "first time". Somewhat embarrassed, he simply said "Let's go" and started walking first.

After being thoroughly convinced by Qiao Ying's freakish intellect these past two days, with Qiao Yi coming in and out of her room with math problems and witnessing her bizarre performance solve them one by one, he completely believed her when she said she was just too lazy!

For Qiao Ying, this kind of problem was a piece of cake as long as she had her hands.

No, she didn't even need her hands. One glance and she knew the answer, just as she said: "Writing out the solution is giving them face, this kind of problem is purely a waste of time and ink."

Qiao Yi wondered several times whether this person was really his sister or not.

Were there recorded cases in history of someone becoming a genius after a fall?

No, but overseas there was a "genius" who pretended to be mute for decades to avoid socializing and escape his nagging spouse.

It seemed his sister belonged to the second type.

Qiao Yi was thoroughly convinced by Qiao Ying's freakish intellect.

"What should we eat for breakfast? I don't have money on me." Qiao Ying asked.

"Mom gave me...us five dollars. We can buy buns to eat later." Qiao Yi took out the five dollars from his pocket and handed it to her. "Or you can get something else if you want."

Of course Qiao Ying knew this breakfast money didn't include her share.

She didn't mind, "Buns are fine."

"Did you go running this morning?" Qiao Yi asked.

"Yeah, to lose weight."

"You'll look very pretty after you lose weight." Qiao Yi said this then turned away, somewhat embarrassed.

Seeing his red ears, Qiao Ying's mouth curled up slightly.

This little brother was pretty cute.

After entering the school gates, the two went their separate ways towards their respective school buildings.

The campus full of youth and bookish air was a novelty to Xue Ying who was used to the constant threat of death.

The classroom, originally noisy, strangely quieted down the moment Qiao Ying appeared. Everyone looked towards her.

Then whispers broke out.

"This fat pig came back to school so quickly, looks like she wasn't hurt too badly from the fall."

"Do you guys know how she fell? She was going down the stairs, saw the school heartthrob, got too nervous, missed a step and tumbled down."

"I know, I know, I was there too. With a loud bang, I thought it was an earthquake, haha."

"If it were me I wouldn't have the face to come back to school."

"Hey, she's looking at us. Even after taking a fall, she's gotten bolder. Not only did she brush her bangs aside to show her face, she dares to look at us now."

"Don't say it, this fat girl has quite pretty features. I never noticed before."

"Don't disgust me."

The whispers escalated into loud discussions and ridicule.

Qiao Ying's gaze swept over each of these people.

All of them had bullied the original host to varying degrees.

Qiao Ying sat down and looked at the maliciously graffitied desk, her eyes cold as she swept her gaze over them again.

Under her bizarre, oppressive stare, the chatter gradually died down until complete silence. They felt a sudden chill on the backs of their necks for no reason, and a suffocating sensation.

They looked at each other, all feeling that the useless, cowardly trash was very different than usual today. Her previous lowered gaze and hunched, subservient bearing was at odds with now.

Morning reading began.

Qiao Ying took out a textbook that had been viciously torn up but didn't make a scene over it.

She peacefully finished morning reading and got up to use the bathroom.

In the stall, Qiao Ying heard shuffling noises outside the door. When she tried to open the door, she found it blocked from the outside.

Imagining her miserable state trapped inside, the few people outside couldn't help laughing out loud.

"This fat pig still hasn't learned her lesson. She still dares to use the school bathroom. Looks like she's not afraid of being locked in."

"Quick, go get a bucket of water. We'll pour it on her and drench her."

"The water's here."

Holding the bucket with both hands, they were about to pour it into the stall to drench Qiao Ying. Just as they were tipping it over, the door was suddenly kicked open forcefully from inside.
