Chapter 235: Fierce Clash
Chapter 235:Fierce Clash
BANG!BANG!BANG!
A sound akin to the shattering of glasses resounded before the collision which was followed by the loud sound of thunderclaps reverberating throughout the place as lightning started to flicker all around.
Even before Lucas hit the ground, huge bolts of lightning showered on the group of Orc, frying them to crisp.
The bolts of lightning hit the earth with a crackling sound creating small explosions sweeping away everything under it.
The Orc was showered with strong zaps of lightning descending straight from the clouds over them.
“Kuakkkk!”
“Kiech!
“Krch!”
“Krghhh!”
” Khum”
The Orcs shrieked with pain as their skin burnt and lightning hit their bodies inflicting heavy damage.
But didn’t even have time to wonder as their scale went numb and my mind became blank as a huge attack descended over them with the man who wielded lightning like a God of lightning itself
A bluish hue enshrined the whole place and lit up the sky while blinding the vision of the onlookers staring at the scene.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Rumble…..Rumble…Rumble….
The earth- started to shatter, and tremble due to faint tremors, the trees were swept away and a huge dense mass of energy along with the lightning condensed in the place exploded outward and anyone who was hit by the impact was crushed brutally.
The blast radiated outward enveloping everyone that was rounding it.
The Orcs weren’t given any opportunity to run away as the huge blades of wind descended on them like the scythe of death.
Lucas’s face changed greatly and his face became as pale as a sheet of paper.
He greatly underestimated the effect of the attack.
Though he thought that it would be frightening still, he cannot phase the situation into words as he experienced it currently.
This was beyond his wildest imagination, currently being the one who cast the attack, he was bound to be inflicted with injury due to self-damage.
His internals started to churn and a high heat enveloped him that was protected by the armor worn by him. Without it, Lucas was sure that today he would get the invitation from God of death itself.
Fortunately, the worst scenario was prevented somehow but this was far from over.
From the point of impact, a small sphere mass of red fire grew from the luminous point and on top of the fiery dome, lightning flickered uncontrollably all around.
The Orcs who were hit by the attack were annihilated completely and some of them directly exploded into a bloody mist and their body shattered and burst into millions of pieces that were a second later engulfed by the rising flames.
Xanth and Chris, leading a group of soldiers, wanted to rush to the scene to protect Lucas and do as he asked but the scale of the explosion forced them to take a few steps back otherwise they would be injured by it.
Lucas’s body, which was protected by the armour, was shot out in the opposite direction of the point of being intact, leaving behind a trail of lightning.
On the other hand, the 3-Star Orcs in the masses were killed directly, while the 4-Star Orcs were burnt to death leaving behind charred bodies.
The stronger ones were able to survive the death blow but they were injured greatly and most parts of their bodies seemed to be burnt while the lightning ruptured their internal organs causing them to vomit a mouthful of blood.
Lucas on the other hand, slid off the ground like a rag doll and his body was dragged along the ground due to the impact leaving behind a trail.
Lightning lingered around his armor but thankfully it didn’t permeate inside and damaged his wrecked body.
The heat generated due to the impact had also caused severe burns all over his body and there were silver blisters on his face.
His silver blue armour had become red hot due to the heat generated by the impact and Lucas, who was trapped inside it, felt as if he had been thrown into the oven to be fried.
“Arghhhh!” Lucas groaned in pain due to the terrifying pain of assaulting his senses.
Before he thought that he would look cool and repeat the scene in the movie of [revenge end game] where Thor smashed everyone but unfortunately…..
His throat was dry and the burning sensation washed all over his body. The brunt skin was itching and the irritation caused by this was making him feel bad.
He could feel an urge to cough blood but he felt as if his lips had been sealed due to burning.
Lucas pulled out an advanced potion in one hand and took off the helmet and gauntlet in the other.
He cried and sobbed in pain due to the burns.
Suppressing the pain while gritting his teeth, he chugged down the potion while pulling back the armour.
With a flashing light, the armour disappeared, leaving behind a heated ring which he pulled out quickly.
Chris and Xanth hurriedly ran towards the place where Lucas had been thrown and frowned upon seeing his frightening condition.
But seeing him taking the potion, they heaved in relief but still, they were worried about Lucas as such a degree of the wound cannot be healed by low level potions.
But their worries turned into shock when they saw the lump of burnt skin start to wriggle and peel off from Lucas and fall off, which were carried away by the gentle breeze of the wind.
Lucas, who suffered a tingling sensation of irritation, bit his lips and gnashed his teeth to the point where blood started to drip from his lips.
The others were momentarily stunned and were at a loss for words seeing Lucas healed.
Seeing him using an advanced potion was already a shock but seeing his appearance that looked like a teen boy also startled them.
Though Lucas said he was a student of Horizon, they already thought of him as a 3rd-year student but he seemed to be younger than their imagination.
Although they were perplexed, they quickly regained their senses when they heard a loud bestial cry that shook the entire surrounding.
An immense threatening murderous intent emerged from afar.
Everyone looked in the direction of bloodlust and found that it was the 5-Star Orc that was roaring at the top of its long shook the entire place
While Xanth and the guards were happy to see Lucas coming out alive in the bout, the leader of the battalions of the Orc tribe was outraged as he saw the corpses of the fallen kings.
Many of them were injured and killed leading to such devastation.
A crater of fifty metres in depth had been formed by the explosion from which fumes of steam still emerged while remaining traces of lightning flickered and on top of that it had formed a graveyard of few of its skin.
Things started to grow weary the moment he decided to attack the place.
Originally he was tasked with overseeing things and gathering intelligence but his greed got the better of him.
He wanted to earn merit and shoot in the rankings and thought of taking on the pass currently as there were no strong guards present in it.
Both of their sides seemed to be equal but his tribes had tough stature and better resilience.
He can’t go back after suffering such humiliation and losses. His rank would surely be demoted and he would be made a laughing stock throughout his tribe.
But since it came to this, he had to make a move and had to make up the loss by himself with the remaining ones.
BANG!BANG!BANG!
The Leader Orc beat his chest like drums of war signalling the forthcoming destruction.
With a force-threatening roar, it released all its might.
Cracks formed underneath its feet due to fierce breath.
Lucas’s eyeball widened as he felt the threatening aura from the Orc.
He could feel that this guy was more dangerous than that boss gorilla monster he had encountered in the dungeon.
Even Xanth, who was at the peak of 4-Star, started to sweat profusely seeing Orc trembling in rage.
BANG!
With a loud thump, a man landed in front of the Orc who stared at the Orc’s eyes fiercely.
“Commander Lesh!!”Xanth muttered with a solemn expression.
“Your opponent is me.” The commander shouted and released his aura trying to rival the Orc.
The Orc and Commander’s aura clashes with each other trying to devour one another, showing its dominance.
CRACKLE!CRACKLE!CRACKLE!
The ground beneath them started to rumble and small cracks started to widen as fierce coercion from the aura stamped on it.
Starting straight at each other’s eyes for a moment as if both of them agreed to start the fight, their image blurred in an instant and both of them disappeared from their places.
The ground beneath them sunk deeper and wide cracks formed.
Leaving behind images one after another, they moved with a frightening speed that was invisible to the naked eye of many, they collided with one another.
BOOOOM!
