The Extra’s Survival: Logging into the Game Master System!

Chapter 86: [Pity of the Manaless!]

Adrian's POV!]

"What did you say?"

"I said that if I were to help you get a mana based skill. What will you give me in return?" I repeated my words.

I calculated a couple of things here. First was that escape was near impossible. Even with everything in my arsenal, I don't think I can out run her. I don't know how she found me but if she can do it once, she can do it again.

The second thing was that I didn't feel like she was a bad person. I am not a person to judge someone based on feelings, but I don't have much to go along with. The only thing I know about her is that she has a sad backstory, and she didn't kill me despite having the power to do so.

So the most obvious choice I got was to try and exploit her. If I can give her what she wants, then can I make her work for me? I don't know but... it's worth a try.

"I just told you it's impossible. Are you mocking me? Explain what you mean properly or else you will end up losing an arm or two," she spoke with her eyes turning serious.

"My [Gift]. It allows me to make changes to my skills and items at the cost of 'Plausibility'. It's not too much, but I was wondering if I could-

She then reached close to my illusion as her eyes observed it with a deeper look.

"Test it on me. I am allowing you to do so. Test your gift on me and see what you can do,"she spoke with a tone far more serious than before. I could see the desperation in her eyes as she looked at my illusion.

Walking just beside her, I saw how much she was fixated on that. And I sighed before appearing in front of her. It's a bad move but I guess we don't have many options here.

"Give me your hand," I spoke as I erased my illusion, making her eyes widen before she understood the situation. She then raised her hand towards me, and touching it, I tried looking at that particular skill that she had.

[Skill: Mana Conversation!

Grade: A

Status: Cannot be used due to [Gift] restrictions!

Effects:

-Allows the user to convert 80% of her physical stats into Intelligence and Wisdom!

-Allows the user to store 3 Mana Sub-skills that she can use at 50% power using the increased Intelligence and Wisdom!

-The User's Mana Regeneration is directly based upon Wisdom, regenerating 1MP per increased Wisdom Stat!

-The User's Mana Points are directly based upon Intelligence, increasing MP by 100 for every increased Intelligence Stat!]

'Fine skill she got there. Pretty much overpowered if you consider her [Gift],' I thought before trying to type the changes that I wanted to make it to that skill. It wasn't a question of 'if it will work' since I was pretty sure it will. The question was 'how much?' Since it's gonna cost a lot to interfere with an [Immortal] grade gift.

There were only two changes that I needed to make. One was to remove the restriction from the [Status] of the skill. And add another point saying that this skill can be used even with the [Gift!]. Though...

[The Following changes will cost 173 Billion GM Points. Would you like to proceed?]

I sighed as I was about to let go but her hopeful eyes made me pause. Then I thought about a second thing that was certainly possible.

[Blessing: Pity of the Manaless!

Grade: S

Effects:

-Allows the user to use [Mana Conversion!] skill as the sole Mana based skill without any restrictions of any form!]

[Would you like to create the [Blessing!] for 70 Million Points?]

I then let her hand go, as I looked at her with a deep look.

"It's a failure, isn't' it? Even the highest of the Gods said that I am doomed with this [Gift!]. There is nothing they can do about it," she was dejected. Even though she was threatening me before, she seemed to have calmed down a lot.

"Well. I have good news and bad news," I spoke to her as I observed her face. Her eyes suddenly darted towards mine, confused.. a bit expectant.

"Bad news is that I can't change your skills. To be fair, I can but the plausibility it costs is way too much that I have. Even if it takes years and decades, I don't think I can have that much 'plausibility' to do so," I spoke, making her eyes widen again. The fact that it wasn't impossible made her shocked to a wide extent.

"So... you are saying that it is possible?" She asked and I nodded at her.

"If I can, maybe, somehow increase my gift again, then I think I can reduce the plausibility costs? Idk," I spoke as I shrugged my shoulders a little, making her hopeful again.

"Well at least there is some hope," she smiled through her eyes, seeming to be rather sad right now.

"As for the good news," I then continued, making her eyes widen as if asking 'wasn't that the good news?' But I just smiled and said," the good news is that my [Contractor] said that he can help you out."

"Your... contractor? You are already Contracted to a God?" She was surprised to hear that.

"Contracted? Yes. To a God? No. I think he is someone different from a God. There is that [???] on his name, so he could be above a God.

Though I don't know in detail, I am just speculating," I answered her, making her even more shocked than before.

"Anyways. He said that he can help you but he has a condition. He wants that [Corrupted Energy!] and to bestow his powers, he needs to form a contract with you. The conditions can be negotiated through me," I spoke to her.

Most of it was bullshit. But hey, not everyday you get a chance to form a contract with a person with [Immortal] Gift. It would be a waste if I can't get her in my control at all.

I was worried that she might get angry with the mention of the contract since strong people don't like to be bound under someone. But for some reason, she seemed to be considering my words right now.

"Are you sure he can break this curse of mine?" She asked, and I nodded. She then gave it a bit more thought before speaking,

"Ask him to send the contract. I will tell you my answer after that."

Oh! This was surprisingly easy.

Creating a contract wasn't that hard. I already had a basic idea of what I should write in the contract.

[Contract!

Grade: Primordial

Party A: [???]

Party B: Enter your name and Mana signature!

Conditions:

-Party A will Give a Blessing to Party B, allowing them to use a Mana Based skill that their [Gift] can't interfere with!

-Party A can give [Skills] [Quests] and [Blessings!] to Party B

-Party A can give [Curse] and [Punishments] to Party B in case Party B threatens the existence of Party A.

-Party B will never harm Party A or any of the Contractee under Party A.

-Party B will need to complete at least one Quest, once a Year for Party A. There will be additional rewards to Party B if they complete the Quests!

Restriction: It is a Permanent Contract and cannot be canceled!]

I created the contract with two things in mind. One that the contract would look like it's in the favor of the one getting contracted. Two that the main function of this contract is to secure a passive GM points source.

'I was wondering whom I should give the contract to. To think it would be given to someone I just met randomly. Anyways, there are only plus points to this, so I don't mind it at all,' I smiled as I told her the details of the contract.

"Is that all? Doesn't he want me to serve him or anything?" She asked skeptical of what she heard, but I shook my head before speaking," I don't know. I just told you the contract."

Did I make the contract too easy for her? It's not a good thing. People get suspicious when things get too easy to get.

"Hmmm. If that's all then okay. It's not even a contract to be fair. Just a deal... " she was still feeling skeptical about it. Though before passing the contract, I looked at the knife that was filled with [Corruption Energy!]

"Can I have that dagger for a moment?" I asked, and she looked at that dagger for a few seconds. Not minding much, she then passed it on to me as she spoke," you said that he also wanted that [Corruption Energy] right? But it wasn't in the contract."

[Skill: Debug!]

[You have purified an A-Grade Weapon coated with 50% Corrupted Energy!]

[+3 Million GM Points Received!]

Ignoring her shocked expression, I then looked at her before speaking,"that's because of me. Actually, about that plausibility? It increases everytime I fix something that is broken. For example this energy that I just purified."

[Would you like to send a contract to Annabeth Percy Milliam for 1 Million points?!]

And before she could speak anything, I sent her the contract.

She paused for a few seconds, as she looked at me. Questions were filled in her eyes, as she wanted to ask a dozen of them. But then she looked at that [Contract!] in front of her. She kept observing that [Contract!], before thinking of something.

I was wondering if she was going to accept that contract or not. But after a few seconds, I heard a crisp sound that made me smile.

[Congratulations! Contract Successful! Annabeth Percy Milliam has been contracted!]
