Chapter 133 [Return!]
[Julia's POV!]
"Samantha, wake up! Julia, wake up! Everyone hurry up!" Olivia shouted as she urged us to wake up. Since the way she was shouted seemed urgent, I immediately opened up my eyes, only to find that she was waking everyone up one by one.
"What happened… awaah… olivia?" Samantha, half awake, asked as she looked around for any signs of danger, but failing to find any, she let her guard down a bit. She then observed Olivia who had finished waking the last member present here, before turning to me and speaking,
"You were right! Julia! You were right!"
Looking at her excited yet alarmed expression, I got confused. What was she talking about? What was I right about?
"THE TELEPORTATION CIRCLE! IT REALLY APPEARED!" She then shouted as she pointed outside the balcony, her eyes still excited as much as before. And only when she spoke those words, my eyes widened. I looked at her with a perplexed expression before running towards the balcony to confirm it with my own eyes.
And as I ran, just like the others, I reached the railing before beginning to search for the circle. And it wasn't hard as I looked at the circle formed at the center of the city. It was huge, at least 100 meters in diameter, present at the center of the town.
Despite being at least a few kilometers away from here, the dense magic around it along with the 4 tall pillars that surrounded it, marked its location clearly while we kept observing the circle.
"Damn that's huge!"
"Wow!"
"How did you know, Julia? I totally thought that we were wasting time here while the others were going to reach the safe zone first."
"Hah! This is…"
"Seems like we are finishing the tutorial early."
Different people had different expressions regarding the teleportation circle. Though for the most part it was relief on their faces. As for the reason why we stayed in this city, despite the quest asking us to leave was because of a certain message that I got. Your next chapter is on empire
'Adrian… just who are you?' I questioned as I recalled the sudden message that I got from him 5 days ago.
Most of the people except about 20 of the players had left the city. A few left on the first day, while the others left in the next few days. The ones remaining here were simply trying to gain a few more skill points to increase their skill before preparing to leave.
"Look, now there are two arrows," Emily pointed out as I looked at the two arrows in the sky. One pointed in the same direction as before, while the other was pointing at the teleportation circle, denoting that we can exit as long as we move towards the circle.
"What are you guys waiting for? Let's go. Don't you guys want that reward for clearing the main quest?" Samantha was the first to prepare to leave. Though I said prepare, she was mostly ready with all her things packed.
In fact, all of us were ready to leave at any moment from the first day itself. The only reason we were still dwelling in the city was because I pleaded with the guild leader, Samantha, to stay for at least a week.
I explained my reasons to her and even though she was complacent, she still sighed and decided to follow my words. The other girls didn't disagree since Samantha had already given her command.
Honestly, I was really thankful for them to follow it. And right now, when those words came true, I was even more thankful to Adrian, who helped us save so much time that we might have faced while traveling.
In any case, following Samantha, all of us began packing our things as well. Took roughly around 10 minutes before we were ready and prepared to return back to the safe zone.
"Man! This was such a rushed adventure this time… well, at least it wasn't just pure survival like the first phase," Trisha spoke as she stretched out, while we nodded at her words.
"Not gonna lie. I am going to miss these castle walls, somehow I became used to this place," Emily added as she looked at the NPCs and waved at them.
I observed the paintings on the wall, the chandelier on the top, the aura of a medieval castle. It's not everyday you get to see things like these. Honestly speaking… it wasn't such a bad place after all.
"I am gonna miss all these," I spoke out my thoughts making others shed a tear as well.
As we continued talking about our experience, we soon reached the outer castle walls. There we met a few more female players that we have worked with in the past few days. They had asked us to take them with us since going alone wasn't safe for them.
Agreeing to their words, I decided to take them with us, before all of us slowly reached the teleportation circle.
Unsurprisingly, many people were present around the circle. There were even a few known faces such as Mark, Alice and the others. Even Luke was there, and looking at him a sour expression appeared on all our faces.
Still we sighed before looking at a certain group of 4 walking towards the teleportation circle. The group consisted of two females and two males.
One of the females had yellowish hair while the other looked similar to Alice. As for the males, one was a samurai while the other one, though rather thin, was pretty good looking with his white hair and all.
They moved into the teleportation circle and vanished after a few seconds. Following them, Alice's group also entered and vanished.
"Let's go," Samantha said and we also followed behind them, reaching the center of the circle.
[Your first entry is Free! Would you like to teleport to the Border Settlement(Twin Planet)?]
Samantha nodded before proceeding to press the button. And so did we as we followed behind her steps.
