Chapter 124: [Changes II!]
As Adrian walked through the rift passage, he checked for any possible aberrations that could potentially break the rift. Though after multiple confirmation with the [Game Master System], and using his own skills, he was able to break through all the minor problems until there were none. His eyes looked at the minute traces of lingering 'corrupted energy' that he erased with ease using the [Debug!] skill.
"What should I do next after this?" He mumbled in a low voice as he kept looking at the wall of the rift passage.
As for the current time, he had multiple paths that would take him to the desired end. Whether it was adventuring with his friends, or it was looking out for the players that were in the other servers, or even the paths that he would travel alone searching for the mysteries of the tower, all the paths would be viable for him, providing time to relax as well as grow without much to care about.
There was one more path that he could take as a means of relaxation. And that was to stay near the rift, develop a road on both sides and create two settlements on each side of the rift. Since he was the one who created the rift passage, if he were to hold a monopoly on it, no one would complain one bit.
And even if he wanted to keep it free, or be unbothered by it, someone else would surely take advantage of the path one or another.
'It's not like I lack time or anything,' he thought as he looked at the next tutorial quest time.
[Time until next tutorial: 99 Days: 23 hours: 59 minutes!]
It was longer than the 'few days' he got after the first phase of the tutorial, and as someone who cleared the tutorial first, he was able to check the details of the rewards as well. Though for the most part, it didn't affect him as much.
As much as the Tutorial gave him reward, he was able to secure much more than that with the [Game Master System] itself.
[GM Points: 17 Billion 317 Million 231 Thousand!]
Part of it was because of the bet, while the rest was because of his getting points from the corrupted Mana. Plus, his own gift [Cartography] was at [Heaven Grade!] as well. It has evolved into [Creation Index!] something that Adrian didn't expect at all.
[Gift: Creation Index!
Grade: Heaven's Grade!
Experience required to upgrade: Create a settlement that is recognized by at least 1000 Individuals!
Effect: Allows the user to observe, analyze and store anything he has seen into his memory to the finest details! An archive memory of all the things that the user has recorded will be maintained and can be easily accessed by the user. Recreation of all things is possible as long as the sufficient energy cost is maintained!
Additional Effects:
-Map Creation Overlay Possible of what the user wishes to create! Extension to Marked Individuals (41/100)
-Extreme Sense: Allows the user to sense and observe beyond what was normal!
-Teleportation Points Available: 10!]
A smile formed on Adrian's face as he looked at the improved version of his gift. Even though a lot has changed, most of his skills were retained from the previous version. They weren't visible in the system status, but since most of them were related to his mental ability, he was able to use them without much problems.
Even the map creation was possible, which gave him access to at least 100 km around him without much problem, allowing him to see everything that was going on around him, without much difficulty.
And the plus point was that the idea of creating a settlement, lines with the next task to upgrade the gift. Or to be honest, it's because of the next task that Adrian thought about creating a settlement on both sides of the rift.
Adrian had a general idea of what he needed to do now, but before that he needed to deal with the current circumstances. And that was to talk to the people who were currently following behind him.
"It's done. While it's not completely stable, that's only because the process couldn't be rushed any further. Give it about a month and it will become a permanent change. Though I advise anyone to not do anything stupid to the bridge. The result would be anything but fruitful," Adrian spoke as he stretched out his hands, before he walked towards the group.
The three nodded at him before Nora spoke,"is that so?" She had her own thoughts regarding it, but in the end she could only sigh and say,"I still can't believe it really happened." While they were all really going all out on this plan that Adrian gave, it was rather hard to believe that something like this really happened.
It was like a believer meeting a god whom he prayed for day and night. In a way, he alway believed in it, but to meet God itself is certainly unbelievable in many ways. In any ways, there were no complaints from them, as they were merely enthralled with what transpired.
"I will be reporting this to the leader," Risaliyah informed as she looked at the passageway. Though it was a normal statement considering that she was going to do it anyway, she spoke of it as a mere reminder that she will be doing it. Another reason why she reminded Adrian about it was because she wanted to know what thoughts he would have regarding this matter known to the others.
Though Adrian didn't seem to mind much as he simply nodded before answering," sure. Tell him he is welcome here anytime… also there was something I wanted to talk about with him. If he ever comes here, tell him to meet me before leaving."
Risaliyah nodded, though before she could speak further, the Two Gods appeared before everyone, their eyes containing intense gratitude as they walked towards Adrian, bowed and then politely spoke,
"Thank you for protecting our world. Is there anything we can do for you, Sir Crowley?"
