Chapter 11
Chapter 11
EP.11 Emergency Mission
The White Order was not only the most prestigious order on the El Dorad Continent, but it also held great authority.
Thanks to this, they garnered support from many people and had the means to expand their influence widely.
However, a series of unfortunate events recently led to a sombre atmosphere within the order. Currently, a discreet meeting was taking place on the upper floor of their main building.
“So, you still haven’t been able to make contact?”
“Yes, that’s correct, Grand Bishop.”
One priest spoke with an anxious expression. When an apprentice priest goes missing, the order usually wouldn’t be so concerned. But this missing person was no ordinary apprentice priest, it was Yuel, who held power equivalent to a saint.
“I told him to stay put, but he ended up doing something reckless in the end.”
The Grand Bishop vented his frustration, slamming his desk.
They had advised Yuel to stay calm, but he had gone to the Sael Kingdom, and then they lost contact with him.
The problem was that the Sael Kingdom was adjacent to the Demon Realm.
“We have confirmed that the relic carried by the apprentice priest Yuel has activated. We attempted to locate the exact location, but…”
The relic had activated, yet they couldn’t find the place where it had been activated.
This meant one thing, Yuel was dead. Furthermore, the relic was powerful enough to easily defeat a 5-star-level monster. But even with such power, Yuel was helpless.
“It seems like a space untouched by divine power?”
Using the relic should have generated a significant amount of divine power.
At the very least, they thought they could locate the place where the relic was activated. But that wasn’t the case.
The Grand Bishop quickly came to a realization. Yuel was dead.
He likely crossed the mountain range into the Demon Realm.
They couldn’t know the exact circumstances of his demise, but going to the Demon Realm with only one Holy Knight was a foolish move.
“Sigh…”
In the end, it was already in the past. Continuing to dwell on this issue wouldn’t bring Yuel back.
From the Order’s perspective, it was a painful event, but it had to be turned into a new opportunity.
“Grand Bishop, in that case, I have already spoken to His Holiness about it.”
The Grand Bishop turned to the owner of the voice, Helisa, the Saint of the White Order. The reappearance of a saint after a century was nothing short of a blessing for the order.
“A priest from the Sael Kingdom has gone missing, and this is a matter of great importance. We have requested the dispatch of an Inquisitor.”
The Grand Bishop looked delighted, as if he were attending his granddaughter’s party.
“Lady Saint, it’s truly a blessing for the Order that you are concerned about this matter.”
The Sael Kingdom was geographically distant from the White Order, and their influence there was limited.
The power in Sael Kingdom lay mainly with the royal family and nobility. If they could persuade these influential figures to embrace the order, they could transform the Sael Kingdom into their stronghold.
However, they hadn’t had a suitable opportunity until now. With Yuel’s disappearance and the subsequent request for an Inquisitor, they had their chance.
The Grand Bishop couldn’t hide his satisfaction. Sael Kingdom couldn’t reject the request for an Inquisitor because refusing help in a situation where a priest had gone missing would be suspicious.
However, accepting an Inquisitor would make it seem like they were allowing the White Order to expand its influence in the kingdom.
“They can’t decline the request, and they can’t accept it easily either. This situation is a great opportunity for us.”
The Grand Bishop, smiling in a sinister manner, began to ponder something.
“But, how is the situation with the Seal Stone?”
The Grand Bishop’s voice turned cold. The underground space of the White Order had been breached.
This was already a grave problem, but the situation became even worse when the sealed demon managed to escape.
“Many priests have been trying to resolve the issue, but so far, we have found no leads.”
The Order’s underground space was not an area one could infiltrate casually. It was impervious to magical interference, and it was continuously monitored by Inquisitors on rotating shifts. For such an intrusion to go unnoticed was a significant concern.
“We even questioned the Inquisitors who were on duty at the time, but it yielded no results.”
The situation had become extremely troubling.
Eventually, no one knew anything.
The Grand Bishop had a headache. He couldn’t grasp what to do next.
The Yuel incident provided a legitimate reason to investigate the Sael Kingdom, but this situation was different.
While the Grand Bishop was pondering, Saint Helisa carefully raised her hand.
“Um… Grand Bishop?”
“Yes, Saint. What’s the matter?”
“The creature that escaped from the seal this time is known as a 3-star Succubus. Is it really such a dangerous entity that we should be concerned about it? It seems like we could just ignore it.”
To regular people, 3-star Succubus posed no threat, but they were not to be underestimated by members of the Order. The Grand Bishop understood her confusion.
“Hehe, you have a point, Saint. However, the escaped demon this time is not an ordinary Succubus, that’s the problem.”
The Grand Bishop coughed before continuing, “Have you heard of Ishahar by any chance?”
“Ishahar? I’ve never heard of that name before.”
Helisa was surprised by the unfamiliar term.
“Yes, in the beginning, the Goddess created the El Dorad Continent.”
This was a story known to everyone on the continent. Why was the Grand Bishop mentioning this now?
“However, do you know that there was another being who existed alongside the Goddess in the beginning?”`
“Yes?”
Helisa was taken aback.
The Grand Bishop words had the tone of heresy or something of the sort.
However, the people in the meeting room didn’t say a word, as if they already knew.
“That being was a very malevolent presence. Therefore, the Goddess had to eradicate that being to protect the continent. But one problem arose. Creatures with its bloodline started to emerge. Those who carry the blood of that being have one particular name, as if it were a matter of course in the world.”
That name is Ishahar.
“However, there is no need to be overly concerned. The name Ishahar is ultimately nothing more than a shackle. Those bearing that name are destined to meet their end by the hands of the Order.”
The Grand Bishop said this with a smile on his face.
“For now, it’s enough to know just this much.”
He quickly changed the subject, but Helisa found herself deep in thought.
‘Since that guy left, so many incidents have been occurring.’
The guy she referred to was Lee Kang Hyun.
Helisa had used her power to send him back to Earth.
At first, the Order had opposed the idea, but they eventually agreed when they realized Lee Kang Hyun was of no use to them.
‘Could we create a second Kim Soo Ho?’
Before Lee Kang Hyun, another person had come to the Order.
His name was Kim Soo Ho.
Kim Soo Ho was diligent and had earned the position of a Holy Knight within the Order.
Helisa thought the same would happen with Lee Kang Hyun, but he proved to be utterly inept. She shook her head and refocused on the meeting.
There were already too many issues to deal with, even without considering Lee Kang Hyun’s return. Being a saint was no small matter.

I purchased 10,000 gems from the store.
It cost a significant sum, but I didn’t mind. I had thought the dungeon was quite challenging, only to find out it was rated as a Bronze grade.
‘I can’t manage with just a 6-star monster?’
Playing the game to relieve stress was turning into a stressful experience. I couldn’t accept this situation. If it meant keeping my sanity intact, I was willing to spend this much.
I received the gems in my mailbox, a total of 14,300 gems.
Even though there seemed to be plenty of them, I only had two chances to draw. The first thing I did with my gems wasn’t drawing.
– [Urgent Mission]: Purchase the [Name Change Ticket] and use it. –
– Reward: 1,000 gems –
An urgent mission had suddenly appeared.
“Oh, I’ve never seen this before.”
I thought this was just a game where you could leave things as they were, but now an urgent mission had come up. I immediately went to the shop to find the item in question. It cost 500 gems, but if I bought it and used it, I would receive 1,000 gems as a reward. In the end, I’d gain 500 gems.
“I should do this right away.”
It was a simple mission, and with such a generous reward, it was a good deal for me.
– Purchased the [Name Change Ticket]. –
– Consumed 500 gems. –
Surprisingly, this item allowed me to change a monster’s name.
“But who should I use it on?”
I randomly selected one of the monsters.
– Skeleton Soldier (★) cannot be used since it has no name. –
– Please specify a monster with a name. –
I needed a monster with a name to use the Name Change Ticket.
“Ah, it’s you!”
It was Celia, my Servant.
She was a 6-star Succubus with the name ‘Celia Ishahar’.
“From now on, your name will be ‘Celia’.”
After all, I had been calling her Celia all along, so removing ‘Ishahar’ from her name shouldn’t be a problem.
– Used the [Name Change Ticket]. –
– The name of ‘Celia Ishahar’ has been changed to ‘Celia’. –
– Completed the [Urgent Mission]! –
– Reward: 1,000 gems. –
“Very nice.”
Now I had 14,800 gems.
“Should I try drawing now?”
It was time to draw some monsters in earnest. Gacha always filled me with excitement and anticipation.

Three adventurers received a mission from the guild to explore an Iron-grade dungeon. The dungeon wasn’t too far away.
All three of them were adventurers, and this was their first time entering a dungeon.
“At last, we can show our strength!”
Denver was the first to express his enthusiasm. He had played the role of the neighborhood’s gang leader since childhood, so he was brimming with confidence.
His dream had always been to become an adventurer, so he had eagerly supported that dream as soon as he became an adult.
This was their first time entering a dungeon, and there was no fear. All three had spent their entire lives together. Denver looked back at his companions.
Ronnie and Jane. They were siblings. Once again, there was no trace of fear on their faces.
If they combined their strength, even their first mission shouldn’t be too difficult to complete.
Denver’s eyes turned toward Jane. Sometime along the way, Denver had started seeing Jane not just as a friend but as a woman.
‘…….’
If they could successfully conquer this dungeon and establish themselves as successful adventurers… When that day comes, Denver would confess his feelings to Jane.
Denver turned back to face the front, walking with determination.
