Chapter 195: Alex kidnapped the hobo
Chapter - 195
"Umm..." A man painfully groaned as he slowly regained consciousness. He felt groggy, and disoriented.
"Ugh... Why is it so dark? Aahh... Where am I?" The man tried to look around, but it was all dark. The man tried to move, but he realised that he was tied to the chair. And there was a cloth covering his face.
Panic set in as the man realized that he was in trouble.
How did he get here? The man could not remember how he had ended up in this mess. The silence was overwhelming, and the only thing he could hear was his own rapid breathing.
"Help! Help me!" The man shouted, his voice echoing off the walls of the building. But there was no response, and the man began to feel even more scared. He tried to wriggle free, but the ropes were too tight. It was a dark, abandoned building out in nowhere, with not a single soul to be seen in miles. But the man did not know as he continued to struggle.
He struggled for what seemed like an eternity to him with no luck. He was about to give up when the man heard footsteps approaching. He felt a surge of relief gushing over him as he realised that he was not alone. Someone was coming to rescue him.
"Hey! Over here!" The man shouted, hoping that the person would hear him.
The footsteps grew louder, but no one spoke.
"I am here. Please save me... Someone has kidnapped me," The man spoke up again. But there was still no response. Finally, the sound of the footsteps stopped.
"Well, well, well. Look who's awake," the man finally heard a voice. It sounded young and calm.
The man's heart sank as he heard the voice. He realized that this was not a rescue party. This was someone who had a score to settle with him.
"I don't know what you're talking about," The man said, trying to sound calm and in control.
But the other party laughed bitterly, "Don't give me that bullshit, hobo. You know damn well what you did. Do you think I don't know how your wife ended up in the hospital?"
The man felt a surge of fear. He thought that no one saw him, but he was definitely mistaken.
'Karen?'
Yes, the man tied to the chair was none other than Karen's husband, Zubair. And the young blood was Alex.
"You... What rubbish are you saying?" Karen's husband stammered, "And how do you know my wife?"
"You sure you want to know?" Alex leaned forward, with his face inches away from Karen's husband's. So close that the man could feel a breath on his face.
Zubair's mind raced as he tried to come up with a way out of this situation. His heart was pounding like crazy. He knew that he was in serious trouble. He didn't know what the man was going to do to him, but from the sounds of it, it wasn't going to be pleasant.
Alex circled around Karen's husband, taunting him with each step. "You think you can just throw your wife to the hospital and get away with it, huh? Do you think you can walk away from this? No one will judge you?"
Zubair's mind was racing, trying to come up with something to say that would diffuse the situation. "Look, I'm sorry. I never meant for it to happen. I never wanted to hurt anyone. It was all an accident."
But hearing him, Alex stopped and got right up in Zubair's face. "Bullshit. You knew exactly what you were doing. You're a liar. You're a coward. You threw your wife down the stairs and left her there to die.
And now you're acting all innocent in front of me? Naughty Zubair… Naughty..." Alex gently tapped the man's face.
Zubair's heart was pounding in his chest. He tried to speak, but his voice was barely a whisper. "Please, just let me go. I won't tell anyone about this. I swear."
The man sneered. "Oh, I don't think so. I want you to tell this to everyone. You're going to remember this for the rest of your life. And every time you look in the mirror, you're going to see the cowardly, cheating piece of shit that you are."
And with that, Zubair's heart sank. His mind was racing, trying to think of a way out of this. He knew he couldn't fight the man, and neither could he reason with him. All he could do was try to stall for time and hope that someone would come to his rescue.
He took a deep breath and tried to sound as calm as possible. "Look, I know I messed up. I know I hurt my wife. But I promise I'll make it right. I'll do whatever it takes to make it right."
But Alex could only laugh bitterly, "You think it's that easy? Do you think you can just say you're sorry and everything will be okay? No, buddy, No... You don't get to walk away from this unscathed. You're going to pay for what you've done." In a deep, threatening tone, Alex tried to intimidate Karen's husband.
Hearing Alex, Zubair fell in despair as he realized that he was in some real trouble. He had never been in a situation like this before, and he didn't know how to handle it. All he could do was try to stay alive and hope for the best.
He took another deep breath and controlled his emotions, trying to sound as sincere as possible. "Please, just tell me what you want me to do. I'll do anything. I'll make it right."
Alex smirked. "Oh, I'll tell you what I want you to do. But it's not going to be pretty. Sorry doesn't cut it. You deserve to suffer for what you've done. You ready, Mr hobo?"
Zubair's heart was pounding as he braced himself for what was to come. He didn't know what the man was going to do, but he knew it wasn't going to be pleasant.
Suddenly, Alex grabbed Zubair's chair and dragged him across the floor. Zubair's body tensed as he felt himself being pulled away, not able to see anything. He knew that one wrong move could send him plunging to his death.
They eventually arrived at a ledge on the top floor of the building, overlooking a steep drop to the ground below. The man shoved Zubair forward, causing him to stumble and almost fall off the edge.
Zubair could feel the cold wind on his face. He realized with a sinking feeling that the man was going to push him off the building.
Zubair's heart was in his throat as he felt hanging on the edge. He was terrified that the man was going to push him off the edge.
The man leaned in close and whispered in Zubair's ear. "Can you feel it, Mr Hobo? Can you feel the cold breeze? Doesn't it make your heart race? I can smell justice in the air. Can you?"
The man continued to taunt him, "Do you see that, Zubair? That's where you belong. You're nothing but a worthless piece of shit."
Zubair's mind raced as he tried to come up with a plan. He knew he couldn't let himself be pushed over the edge, but he also couldn't fight off the man in his current state.
Alex, on the other hand, pushed Zubair closer to the edge, Zubair mustered up all the courage he had left and yelled, "Stop! Please, just stop."
Alex chuckled, "What's the matter, Zubair? Are you scared?"
Zubair replied, "Yes, I'm scared. Please let me go. I won't tell anyone about this." Zubair finally broke and peed his pants in fear.
Alex frowned as he turned his face away, "Augh… Now you have finally done it, hobo. You should have thought about that before you decided to push your wife down the stairs. Now why are you scared of the same?."
Zubair's heart was pounding as he tried to think of a way out of this. He knew that he had to come up with something fast, or he was going to be in serious trouble.
Alex another deep breath and tried to sound as sincere as possible. "Please, just tell me what you want me to do. I'll do anything. I'll make it right. Just don't hurt me."
Alex looked at Zubair for a long moment, his eyes full of anger and hatred. Finally, he spoke. "You're going to give me everything you have, Zubair. Your money, your car, your house. Everything. And then you're going to divorce your wife, leave town and never come back."
"What?" Zubair's heart sank as he realized that he was going to lose everything he had, "No, I can't... I can't do it..." Zubair shook his head hard, not wanting to do it.
"You sure?" But then Zubair heard the man, and he knew that he had no choice. He had to do whatever the man wanted, or he was going to be in serious trouble.
He nodded his head and tried to sound as sincere as possible. "Okay, I'll do it. I'll give you everything I have. Just please don't hurt me."
Alex smiled cruelly, "Good. That's what I like to hear. Now let's go."
And with that, Alex dragged Zubair back through the abandoned building, his heart pounding with fear and his mind racing with thoughts of what was to come.
