The Defeated Dragon

Chapter 252: Liszt, The Envoy of Justice

Chapter 252: Liszt, The Envoy of Justice

The sheep's head flag and dragon bow image were magical equipment made of special materials, and Liszt was not prepared to destroy them.

He immediately wrapped the sheep's flag with his own qi and threw it into the gem s.p.a.ce. Next, he took the sapphire dragon image from the ship's bow, and also threw it in the s.p.a.ce.

There was not much gem s.p.a.ce capacity left. The amount of materials it absorbed almost made it full.

Without the magical power of hallucinations brought by the sheep's head banner and the sapphire dragon's bow, Liszt saw the fog surrounding the ghost ship gradually spread out. The people trapped in the mist would soon wake up.

The wooden boards were decaying and aging at a rate visible to the naked eye.

It's finally over. Liszt breathed a sigh of relief and hugged Hiddleston's neck, enjoying this great sense of accomplishment.

But suddenly there was a shrill scream from the ghost mage. No! d.a.m.n knight! You destroyed the Goat! No! You can't destroy the Goat!

Liszt stood on the decaying ship deck.

Watching the fog gradually fade, he was indifferent to Curtis' protests.

He has a deep curiosity and desire to study Curtis' lich nature and the Dragon Realm Master Plan, and even about the ghosts under his feet. But the other side was devious and he has no way to do checks and balances. If he would stay here, he would surely die.

Hence.

"You're better off dead. You will not go to exile and you will not kill people anymore!"

Nooo!!

A shriek came from the cabin as if it could pierce the eardrum, Knight, don't! Don't destroy the Goat, don't destroy my soul!

Her voice was sad and shrill. Knight, please stop! I will give my life box, Knight!.. Take my life box!

Your life box is already in my hands, and those numerous souls . Liszt laughed coldly. By this time, the evil mage still dared to fool him and was insulting his intelligence.

No! The ghost mage screamed, That's just the place where my soul sleeps! It's the place where I banished my soul. Before reaching the place of exile, I need my soul trap to protect the integrity of my soul! My life box..my life box.. I can give you! It is my key to return to the real world!

Hmmm?

The shrill screams lingered in his ears and he still felt that the other party was still trying to fool him.

However, the ghost ship was about to collapse. According to the record in To His Royal Highness Annette Curtis Truth book, if the ghost ship was lost, she cannot maintain her lich state and her soul would collapse and die. The ghost ship and her are one.

There was no reason to be cynical at this point.

Thinking about it, Liszt took Tremblingwoods with him down to the cabin again. When they saw the ghost mage, the green light that makes up her body was already unstable, flashing as if it were going to dissipate at any time.

Where is your life box?

The ghost mage glared at Liszt bitterly, stretched out her left hand, and slammed it onto her chest.

At that moment, as if her chest had been torn, green light emerged from it. She then slowly pulled out her hand. Making a fist with her hand, she quickly handed it to Liszt, opened her fingers, and quietly placed a blue gem ring on his palm. Take it!  Hurry up! Put back the bow image and sheep head flag, the Goat is going to collapse!

The Red Blood Sword was stirring up the sapphire ring.

After making sure there were no tricks wrapped in it, Liszt picked it up and looked at it. He saw nothing special,Don't lie to me! Is this your life box?

I don't have time to lie to you. This is Annette's promise to me I don't have any enmity with you. I don't even know you. I just want to take my full consciousness into exile and find Annette's soul!, the ghost mage said. Her mouth was no longer open. She was just quietly looking at Liszt.

Will you die if I crush it?

No, my soul lies in the soul trap. The life box is only a key to ensure that I can return to the real world and not be lost in exile.

"This will fix the ghost ship.. But what about my friends?"

The ghost ship is close to collapsing It will be unable to continue sailing in exile, thus, it will no longer interfere with the real world, and will soon disappear at the edge of exile and the real world.

"After that.. You will no longer interfere? You will be gone?"

"When you give back my soul trap to me.. I will disappear with the ghost ship.. Without the soul trap, my soul will have no sustenance.. When I enter the place of exile, I will lose myself and become a ghost in that place I can only hope that you will protect my life box. It is the only hope that I can come back.

I see.

Liszt turned around and quickly put the sapphire ring into the gem s.p.a.ce, then left the cabin without looking back. He did not agree nor refuse to the terms.

Staring at Liszt's back as he walked away, the ghost mage was now unable to maintain her form. Her eyes started to gleam.

She felt hopeful for what was to come. Following the ghost ship into exile and finding the love of her life, Prince Annette. She waited for a moment only to discover that the phantom ship was still crashing and that the decaying wooden boards were breaking apart and another three-masted sailing ship was looming.

Suddenly, she realized.

No!

She shouted, No! No! No! d.a.m.n knight! You lied to me!

They were all standing on the deck. What was before a rotten ghost ship has become a strong clipper ship.

The fog has dispersed, the shadow of the ghost ship has gradually faded, and the fast-sailing ship is back in reality.

They had slowly returned to the real world from the place of illusion.

Paris, Captain Leiden and others slowly woke up and looked confused at the sight and smell of blood in front of them. The chaos between the real and unreal had killed many people.

Fortunately, Levis and Lvera, whom Liszt had  taken into the cabin , were safe and sound. Paris, Captain Leiden, and deputy housekeeper Ranieri were safe as well.

Liszt's two footmen, Tom and Thomas, were clever enough to lie on the ground and pretend to be dead, so they were not hacked to death by the battling knights.

But Liszt also saw the bodies of his three obedient knights, Sean Redface, York Lighthead and Theodore Rottensocks. The three teenagers stayed on the sea forever before they even had the chance to prove their worth.

No! No! No! d.a.m.n knight! You lied to me!

Liszt could still faintly hear Curtis's shrill screams in his ear.

He did not have any sympathy.  Such an evil and cruel magician!  Death is your only destination! You will never come out again to harm people! I, Liszt Tulip, will have the bottom line of justice in my heart!

No!

I will curse you! You d.a.m.n knight!

With Curtis' last cry, the ghost ship burst into powder, blown by the sea breeze, and disappeared without a trace.

Dark clouds also spread rapidly in the sky, but the sun behind them brought back the light.

Checking the surroundings to make sure there was no trace of Curtis left, Liszt dispersed his Magic Eyes and smiled faintly, Curse me? Do you even know my name?

Exactly.

Immediately after waking up, Paris saw Liszt and was pleasantly surprised. Baron, are you all right?
