Chapter 47 - It Is A Good Morning
The lovemaking was sweet and, with renewed vigor after resting all night, the king's desire was satisfied. It was a good morning.
No, more than good. It was beautiful. As they ended the intercourse, birds were singing from outside the window and flowers were blooming.
The gardeners were surprised to see everything was green and flowers popped up in every corner. The palace today looked like a castle in the fairy tale.
'I love you.'
Elise kept those words in her heart as she looked at Loriel with a beaming face. She was happy to see him satisfied. And he showed it by peppering her face with kisses.
"Shall we have breakfast?" Loriel asked her. Elise nodded.
She closed her eyes and enjoyed the sounds of nature. When she opened her eyes again, she saw the man was staring at her in awe.
"You look happy," he teased her.
Elise fluttered her lashes adorably. Was her feeling that obvious to see?
"I am happy..." she finally said with a low voice.
'You make me happy,' were the words she didn't say.
"Hmm.. I am glad to hear that, Wifey." Loriel nodded in satisfaction and hugged her again.
Mmmm... she smelled so great, he thought.
Elise's heart fluttered at the mention of the word 'wifey'.
He still called her that. So, it was not a dream on her part.
Loriel climbed down from her bed and picked up his clothes from the floor. The king only realized that this was not his chamber when he wanted to find fresh clothes to wear.
Since he couldn't go out naked to call his servants to bring him clothes, he resorted to wearing his clothes from last night.
Elise watched the man putting on his trousers and then shirt. She loved admiring his physique. Her husband was truly a feast to the eyes.
His body was significantly taller than average men, and it was big with muscles all in the right places. He looked very manly. When they stood side by side, she looked to be on the smaller side, when actually she was average in height.
His physical strength made her feel safe and protected to be by his side, even though Elise was a powerful witch herself.
It's good to have this kind of feeling toward her husband. That way she would always revere him and admire him. In this regard, they were the opposite.
Loriel had a very strong and manly physique, but he didn't have magic, while Elise was a magic caster, but her body was weak.
Maybe they were fated this way? They would be each other's protector in ways that they were good at? This sounded like a match made in heaven, right?
Elise would like to think they were indeed a match made in heaven. It just took Loriel a bit longer to realize his feelings for her.
"I just remembered I don't have my clothes in here," Loriel murmured after he got dressed. "We need to do something about it."
Elise nodded with a smile. She didn't want to be the one to suggest that he should move in with her. It's good to hear that Loriel realized he needed to have some of his clothes here.
Once she redecorated this chamber to suit a man's taste, he might just naturally move here with her.
"I will talk to Horatio," said Loriel again. Horatio was their butler. He did everything the king and queen needed to be done in the palace.
"Good idea," said Elise. She was finally ready to get dressed too. Ah, she actually wished they could stay in bed longer and savor the moment, but it seemed he was hungry.
"Are you okay?" Loriel asked while Elise chose a new dress from her closet.
He was admiring her back view as she was standing naked with only the thin blanket wrapped around her body, but it was loose at the back and lowered down to show her naked back and half her buttocks.
Elise was distracted and turned to look at him with a question mark on her face.
The man cleared his throat and tilted his chin toward her intimate part. "I mean... are you okay? Does it still hurt?"
Elise's cheeks flushed red again and she quickly hid her embarrassment by looking away.
No, it didn't hurt as of this morning, but she did feel some weird void between her legs when Loriel's engorged manhood was filling her up. It's been half an hour already, but the feeling was still there.
But of course, she couldn't tell him this. It was too vulgar.
Loriel didn't know what she was thinking, but her expression was enough to let him know that she was not in pain and she was happy.
That was good enough.
Loriel waited until Elise finished wearing her clothes before he called the servant to come and prepared breakfast for them.
"Your Majesty, General Melchior has been waiting for you since before dawn." The servant entered and bowed down in front of Loriel.
