Chapter 134: Gobe Country's Secret Advisors Part 1

Chapter 134: Gobe Country's Secret Advisors Part 1

"What country do you speak of," asked the king, who was obviously the most knowledgable about the rest of the continent and was interested in who she was.

He knew that the Gobe Country was one of the small countries that didn't have much influence on the continent, but he also knew that if her family was one that was powerful in one of the larger countries, it would easily be able to wipe out their entire country.

The king kept his authority and was still in control, but was also careful not to anger Elizabeth, still not knowing who she was and what she was capable of.

"I am from the Ethien Country and the Graham Family is one of the large families of the country" stated Elizabeth confidently, not intimidated much by the Royal family that sat before her.

Elizabeth was unsure why, but she felt like nobody could faze or intimidate her and she felt as though she was above the world.

Although she guessed that it had something to do with the unexplainable ability that she has recently found out about, she had no idea what its limitations were and how exactly it worked.

None of the royal family members had heard of such a country and even as the royal family, most of them didn't know much about the rest of the continent.

Yet none of them acted out said anything and were too mesmerised by her beauty to speak. Even the king couldn't help but stare at her face for a few seconds before snapping out of his dazed state.

'I have never heard of her family or the country that she is supposedly from, but since she was able to order around my troops by merely looking at them, she must be quite capable. Even if she isn't, her beauty is enough to make her a goddess thought the king to himself as he debated with himself about what to do next.

The King was quite a handsome man and cultivated the famed method of the Gobe Royal Family that was most suited to their Soul Spirit.

Out of all of his siblings and cousins that were in his age group, he was by far the strongest, most talented and was most suitable to inherit the throne, which ended up happening.

His uncles, aunties and father that were still alive became his advisers and he inherited the throne at the age of 20, which was the youngest anybody had been when they inherited the throne. This made it so that his close family, which were his wife and kids, would become the main royal family and would have the most influence and power.

He was a peak Mortal cultivator and matched with his high grade Soul Spirit and skills, was known as the most powerful cultivator in the country.

However, even after 15 years of trying, he still wasn't able to break past the Mortal cultivation level despite knowing of the existence of a higher cultivation level and having large amounts of resources.

One could quickly cultivate to the peak of the Mortal Cultivation Level, but some would take their time with it and make sure that their foundations and fundamentals were solid, as it was the base of their cultivation.

Others that rushed their cultivation weren't ambitious and didn't want to cultivate past that level, but they would be much weaker than others at the same cultivation level as them and they also wouldn't increase their lifespan by much.

If one's foundations weren't strong enough they wouldn't be able to surpass the Mortal Cultivation Level and the process was an arduous one that required the right method and resources, along with a long time, to do so.

Although he hadn't heard of the family or the country that she was from, she didn't seem to be lying and there was no harm in checking with his advisors.

All the senior members of the family would become advisors and once a suitable heir to the throne was found, they would all leave the country interchangeably to ignore.

They had gathered the most knowledge out of the people in the country and were also the most experienced. Meanwhile, the cultivation level that they were at was unknown and the king himself didn't know whether or not they had surpassed the Mortal Cultivation Level.

Despite being the king, he would still answer to the advisors that were all of varying ages that were above 40 and had accumulated large amounts of knowledge over their lifetimes and before making any decisions would answer to them.

He was merely filling in the role of king and couldn't wait for his son to inherit the throne, so that he could leave behind his responsibility and explore the rest of the continent, just like his seniors had done.

The existence of the advisors was secret and only known to the king who after finding a successor would probably fake his death and join the advisors.

"Guard, you can take your leave. While you can feel free to take a seat" stated the king after deciding what he would do next.

The king's family were surprised by what he said, but didn't say anything and trusted his judgement as the rest of the guards left, just like the king had ordered.

Elizabeth had given up her influence over them and noticed that it was beginning to wear off, which was probably because she was charming too many people at once and couldn't do it for long periods.

"I will be taking my leave and will return within a few minutes," said the king as he stood up and left the royal courtroom, leaving his family, Bernard and Angela alone in the royal throne room.

None of them acted against Angela or said anything to her, as they had no reason to do so, as they continued their meal.

Meanwhile, Angela sat down on a seat that was in the corner of the throne room while Bernard stood beside her as they awaited the king's return patiently.
