Chapter 464: sonias adventures
Chapter 464: sonias adventures
Though they both wanted to just remain in each others embrace forever, Clark and Sonia knew that they were still in a pirate city and what it meant. With reluctance, they quickly left the city with Arthur.
Even if they tried to cover it up, it was impossible so they didnt bother. In minutes, the news of Pirate Queen Anamels death spread through the pirate city and beyond.
For long, Clark has always been worried about his reaction when he finally saw Sonia again but he was surprised when he did. It was like they never separated; it was like theyve lived through all these years together.
15 minutes later, they got sufficiently far away into the desert from the pirate city so they finally had the time to speak things out.
Sonia brought out the stolen pistol first, which Clark handed over to Arthur. After this, she finally started detailing her encounters after Clark asked.
According to her, after the fierce battle on her fathers mansion, she was transported to this desert with her injured brother accompanying her.
At first, they were clueless with no idea of what to do, but on seeing that her brother was dying, she decided to take matters into her own hands.
Taking cue from her knowledge as a soldier and adventurer, she used various materials in the desert to apply first-aid treatment to her brother before carrying him to start traveling.
For the first day, they saw no signs of an oasis or a settlement. The next 2 subsequent days were the same, and when she lost all hope of survival, thinking the most that she would lose her brother, she met someone.
She met the Red Goddess, one of the 3 Pirate Gods, and this was what changed her fate forever.
The Red Goddesss pirate group met her and her brother stranded in the desert. The pirates intentions were originally to kill her off in passing, but the Red Goddess stopped them.
She took her in, told her that she saw potentials in her before forcefully turning her into her student. After this, unlike what was expected, the Pirate Goddess threw her out to forge her own path.
Her only saving grace was that the Pirate Goddess told her all the dos and donts, everything that she needed to know about pirate life before leaving her.
Emboldened by the encounter, from there, she navigated towards a pirate city with her already healed brother. There, her legend started.
Slowly, she rose up the ranks, with small help here and there from the Pirate Goddess making things a little easier for her. Though the Goddess never claimed credit for them, she was grateful for it.
Now, she was a 3rd rank high-grade Pirate Queen. According to her, she advanced just a few days ago so few people knew of it.
She originally wanted to use this as an opportunity to set an ambush, and to successfully kill her arch-rival but the appearance of the mercenaries disrupted her plan though she was the one who ordered her subordinate to steal the pistol.
She knew that she was now strong but could not leave the desert alone, so she used that as a measure to attract her fathers intelligence agencys attention to seek help. And clearly it worked.
Though she received early help from the Pirate Goddess and already had confidants here, the life of a pirate was still not a pleasant thing to her.
As the daughter of a billionaire, suddenly being thrown into the turbulent life of piracy impacted her so much, but her brother suffered the most.
For 4 years, she had been striving on how to return and now hope finally appeared. She felt happy, sad, and nostalgic all at the same time.
She raised the concern of the Pirate Gods rule of no pirate being allowed to leave the desert, but Clark waved her concern away that he already prepared for that after hearing about it.
Finally, before leaving, she took Clark and Arthur to her pirate city to retrieve her brother. Also, she decided to take the pirate leaders under her also.
They started with her from her days of early beginnings. After all that they did for her and her brother, she just couldnt think of leaving them behind.
Before leaving, she also left a note behind for her teacher. Though she never loved the life of a pirate, she would ever remain grateful to the Red Goddess for the help she rendered.
So, she thought it nice to leave a note for her.
As they left Queen Cobra pirate city, pirate leader Crane looked at Clark with a complicated look in his eyes.
I guess, a man like you is the one who really deserves the Queen.
A few minutes after Pirate Queen Cobra left, inside her room, a red gale suddenly blew, sweeping dust everywhere as what seemed like a red phantom materialized in mid-air.
Blue electrical lights flickered inside this red phantoms slightly ethereal body, then its eyes glowed a green light before becoming stable.
It started shakingly before becoming steady as it navigated its way towards the location of the table where the note was kept.
Your Eminence the Red Goddess, I left this note to summarize my feelings about everything youve done for me since I came.
I dont know why you decided to help me, but Im really grateful for your help. Words alone cant express my gratitude for everything, but I am really grateful for it all.
Im sorry to say this, but Im leaving. Though I fought bravely and excelled, I never felt at home as a pirate.
The adventures, freedom and everything was fun, but I missed my home, I missed my parents, I missed my boyfriend, I missed being dotted on, I missed eating the best food, I missed the days of not worrying about my life every day, I miss a lot of things.
I think getting to your rank, thats fulfilling my potential right? For this achievement, please fulfill my wish and allow me to leave safely. Please!
Once again, thanks Teacher, from your student, Sonia Calibri.
Seeing this, the Red Goddesss projection smiled. Sonia Calibri huh?
Your wish is fulfilled.
