Chapter 20: The Devil Strikes Again

Chapter 20: The Devil Strikes Again

Hours later of talking with Darjan, I paid for the food and bid farewell to him. Making my way back home, anticipation mingling with uncertainty. The daunting task of destroying the Krasniqi family loomed large, yet an unshakable confidence coursed through my veins. I knew deep down that my plan would succeed.

Arriving home my parents noticed my frequent absences and questioned me about my whereabouts.

"You've been out a lot lately. Where do you keep disappearing to, dear?" my mother inquired, a hint of concern in her voice.

"Mother, I've made some new friends, and we've been spending a lot of time together," I replied, taking off my shoes.

To my surprise, instead of investigating further, my mother seemed delighted to hear about my newfound 'friends'.

Ever since I was born, I never had friends to hang out with and trust, thus making my mother happy.

After a pleasant dinner with my family, I retired to bed, preparing for the upcoming day at school.

The morning arrived, and I walked to school drowsy. 6 hours later of useless information being forced down my throat, I headed to a phone shop.

"Hello," The cashier greeted me as I entered the store.

"Do y'all have cheap flip phones," I asked looking at the floor filled with embarrassment,

"Of course sir," he replied, standing up from his seat and asking me to follow him.

He guided me to the flip phone section, where he promptly picked up an old 19s Nokia phone. The phone met my expectations, and I swiftly paid the 20$ before departing from the store.

"I need to make this shitty ass phone a trap phone" I muttered to myself as I made my way back to school. "I'll ask Teacher Miha how to do it; he surely knows how to, considering he always flashes his computer science diploma."

Eventually, I reached the school and as I strolled down the hallway, a janitor stopped me and inquired,

"Dionis, what brings you here? School hours have long ended," her voice gentle yet curious.

"ye I know, I just came here to ask teacher Miha about the homework he said to do. I don't understand it so can you tell me if teacher Miha is here" I responded politely.

"Aha ok, yes Miha is in school. He's in his class correcting tests, I believe," She replied, moping the floor peacefully.

"Thank you, Miss, if you need anything feel free to ask me" I said, offering her a playful wink and she immediately blushed.

I couldn't help but chuckle inwardly, while walking to Teachers Miha's classroom.

I reached his class and opened the door. Right away, teacher Miha asked me what I'm doing here.

"Teacher I just wanted to ask for a favor." I told him, twirling my fingers trying to seem nervous even tho I wasn't.

"Of course Dionis i'll help you as much as I can" he responded, putting down his pen and turning his head.

He along with other teachers, held me in high regard due to my knack for calming the class and consistently completing my homework. I made sure I was a perfect student in front of the teachers, which had its advantages when it came to subtly influencing them.

"T-Teacher I made a terrible mistake yesterday" I confessed, the weight of regret evident in my voice.

"What? Dionis tell me what kind of mistake did you make?" he responded, concern flowing through his voice.

"I made fun of some people on omegle, and they said that they will come to my h-house and kill m-me," I revealed, showing overflowing panic.

"Oh, is that all? Sigh, they won't, don't worry they are just a bunch of clowns,"

"but teacher I'm scared what if they really come, please help me I don't want to die yet" I pleaded, attempting to convey genuine fear.

He attempted to calm me, even though his annoyance was visible on his face. "Dionis, trust me when I say they won't harm you. There's no need to worry,"

"I can't help but be scared. Do you have any knowledge on how to jam trackers or something to prevent them from tracking me?" I asked, my voice trembling.

"Dionis you're overreacting, Go home, calm down, and you'll see how ridiculous you sound" he responded, clearly irritated.

"Bu-But," I stuttered, resorting to a tactic that often worked for the easily moved, the CROCODILE TEARS. I disliked using this strategy as it painted me in a pussy like image.

He glared at me with a mix of annoyance and aggravated, as I started crying. "Alright, alright, Dionis, I know one way. Just stop crying; I'll get in trouble for nothing."

"How?? Tell me please! I'm begging" my tears vanished instantly.

He proceeded to tell me the method—a simple technique involving the use of tin foil to shield the inside of the phone.

"But how does that foil prevent tracking?" I inquired, still uncertain.

"It's really simple actually, the tin foil deflects the radio wave send by the trackers and other devices, so it's nearly impossible to track a phone down nor record an audio call from a third party device."

"Oh? But won't that also block me from calling my friends?"

"No. Since phone calls use electronic waves instead of radio waves and electronic waves pass through tin foil,"

This method offered a dual advantage. Not only would it thwart the police from tracking me, but it would also ensure the privacy of my conversations.

"Thank you, Teacher,"

I walked out of the classroom, a devious smirk forming on my lips.

"People sure get fooled easily" i thought to myself, while wiping my 'tears'.

With the day fading into darkness, I hastened to Darjan's house. Thankfully, his father was absent, sparing me from his constant anger.

Darjan and I settled on a couch as I carefully opened the phone's back cover. Fetching the tin foil from the kitchen, Darjan handed it to me, and I proceeded to line the phone's interior carefully. Once everything was reassembled, the trap phone was ready for action.

After snapping close the back cover of the nokia, I powered it on. Reluctantly, I knew it was time to call the head of the Krasniqi family, a call I wasn't eager to make. With a deep breath, I dialed the number, sensing Darjan's nervousness beside me as we waited for the call to connect.

"Hello, who is this?" came the deep voice on the other end.

"Greetings, head of the Krasniqi family. I am the founder of the HIDDEN WORLD organization," I introduced myself confidently.

"Oh is that soooo? It seems you know who I am, so tell me what do you want?" he responded, a note of caution creeping into his tone.

"I called today to discuss business. I've heard through my sources that your primary trade involves marijuana," I stated matter-of-factly.

"Yes, and what about it?" he retorted, his defensive nature surfacing.

"Like I said I'm just here to do business, so why don't we meet up in a place you chose and let's talk." I proposed.

"I don't have a lot of fucking time, but since you want to do business, might as well make some extra money right? hahaha."

He seemed to be as a laid back guy, perhaps even a bit arrogant for not displaying any suspicions towards me. Although, anyone in his position wouldn't care due to the overwhelming power he possesses.

"I assure you that you won't regret this decision," I replied, attempting to conceal my excitement as I dabbed up Darjan and made various mocking facial expressions.

"We shall see. By the way, my name is Adem Krasniqi. And what should I call you?" he asked.

"My name? hmmm" I pondered, glancing around the room until my gaze landed on my blurred mask. "I am referred to as the NAMELESS. Remember it, as we will be conducting a great deal of business from now on." That sentence gave birth to a name that will leave an unerasable scar on the country for eternity.

"I like your attitude, the NAMELESS," he responded, amused by my confident behavior.

After exchanging a brief talk, I concluded the call. Darjan couldn't contain his worry, voicing his concerns about our chosen meeting place.

"What? Are you crazy? Going to their fucking headquarters is suicidal! We'll all end up dead, don't you understand?"

"Shut your pussy ass up Darjan."

"I can't! you're leading us to certain doom! They have fucking guns, boss! Guns! We can't solve our problems with fists anymore," he argued, his fear of death evident.

"It seems you don't trust me enough... Darjan since when was I stupid enough to lead my men to their demise. What kind of leader would I be if I did that. I have my own plans so don't worry and just follow my orders." I patted his shoulder and left his house without saying another word.
