The Blue Eyes

Chapter 90 - THE GIANT WEREWOLF

Kevin anxiously waited for Kris to return to his house. He thought Kris would only deliver the weapons for a while, but he had gone for about two hours now. What took his lover so long? Could it be that Kris secretly decided to go into battle without telling him?

No, that couldn't be. There's no way Kris would lie to him again.

But what if he did? Moreover, Kris said goodbye to him in a strange way. Was it a sign of their last meeting because Kris was going to sacrifice himself on the battlefield?

The scientist continued to be haunted by prejudice about Kris, and that made him feel even more upset. He couldn't bear to sit on the sofa anymore, so he decided to stand up and tried to do other activities to distract himself.

He just stood up, but he was immediately startled by a loud voice coming from the front of his house. He ran to the front, and to his surprise, he found the front wall of the house severely shattered.

Not only that, he was more shocked when he saw that on top of the rubble of the wall stood a giant monster whose height was about four meters. He looked like a werewolf monster, but his height was twice that of an ordinary werewolf monster. Another thing that distinguished it from ordinary werewolf monsters was the color of its fur. The giant monster had red fur that glowed brightly.

Kevin swallowed nervously when the monster's crimson eyes glared at him. Oh no! It looked like the monster was after him!

The young scientist turned to his right, and he found his goldfish swimming happily in the aquarium without knowing that they were now on the verge of death. His fish was his priority, and he didn't want the giant monster to hurt them.

Quickly, the raven-haired scientist ran past the monster to leave his house as far as possible so that his pet fish would remain safe. He looked back, and it turned out that the monster was chasing him at high speed.

Damn! He was currently in his human form, so there was no way he could run any faster than the monster. Finally, the scientist transformed into a white wolf with blue eyes and immediately increased his running speed.

Unfortunately, he wasn't the only one who increased the running speed. The giant monster behind him did the same acceleration, and finally, the giant hand managed to reach Kevin's wolf body and flung the body until it bounced and hit a large tree.

The white wolf grimaced in pain after his back hit the tree hard. His blue eyes rounded, and he breathed a sigh of relief that now he was far enough from his house so that his fish would be safe.

He was in a wide field now. Small children used to play soccer on the field. Ah, wasn't this field near the house of his biological parents? In the past, he and his father used to play baseball here. Remembering that made the white wolf gloomy.

Kevin finally got up and stood facing the giant monster that stood upright about ten meters from him. He then re-transformed into a human figure with blue eyes and white hair. That form was stronger than his ordinary human form, so he chose to use it. Honestly, he still wasn't used to walking on four legs.

"Who are you? Do I know you?" Kevin asked innocently while gawking at the very giant in front of him.

The monster seemed to laugh at Kevin's innocent question. "Didn't that flung by my hand earlier remind you of something?" He responded to Kevin's question with a question.

Kevin furrowed his eyebrows at the monster's strange question. Did someone else ever fling his body like that before?

The scientist tried to recall, and his eyes suddenly widened in surprise. "Are you the human soldier who flung my body seventeen years ago when I tried to help a werewolf?"

That was the only memory in his head, but why did the human soldier turn into a werewolf monster now?

But, wait a minute. It looked like something was wrong. It looked like he forgot about something.

"No," Kevin spoke again. "You weren't a soldier back then, but you were my father's right hand! You killed Kris's mother on purpose back then!"

The blue-eyed scientist fumed after he remembered Kris's story about his mother's death. His blue eyes gawked at the monster's red eyes with hatred.

But, the monster just laughed at Kevin's words.

"So, that wolf boy has told you everything? It's true. I've killed his mother."

"You killed my mother?"

Suddenly, another voice joined their conversation. The two creatures turned their heads to the side, and they found Kris standing not far from Kevin. They actually had noticed Kris's presence a while ago, but they chose to ignore him first.

Kris walked over to Kevin and stood facing the giant monster. "It's your form now, Mario Doxon?" He asked darkly.

Yes, the red monster was Mario Doxon. Even if his birthmark was covered by red fur now, but Kris still recognized the voice of the man who killed his mother many years ago.

Kevin glanced slightly at Kris and discovered the latter's injury. "Why did you get hurt like that? Did you fight earlier?" Asked the scientist.

"Yes, Jack got in my way earlier, and we were involved in a fight," Kris answered without looking at his lover.

"Then, did you win your battle? You should've treated your wounds before you came here."

Kris, who was already embarrassed by Kevin's question, finally turned his head tiredly. "Don't you know that we are currently dealing with a very strong opponent?" He asked desperately. "And, I lost to Jack. Now Blue's up against that cunning dog."

At the mention of Blue's name, Kevin widened his eyes in surprise. "Blue? Isn't she with my mother now?" He asked incredulously.

Kris sighed and turned back to face their opponent. "Kevin, have you forgotten that Blue can teleport?" He asked again with a weary tone. "She came back here to warn us about this monster. It looks like she's right. This monster is so strong."

Kevin's heart skipped a beat at Kris's answer. Blue was back in town, which means that now his mother was alone facing his dad and Kris's dad. Somehow he had a bad feeling about that.

"Forget that matter first, and focus on our enemy now," Kris said before he transformed into a two-meter tall brown werewolf monster.

Kevin was amazed to see the change in Kris's form. It was the first time he saw Kris's werewolf form.

"Hey, Mario Doxon," Kris suddenly called out the monster in front of them. "Who is your target this time? Me or Kevin?"

The monster looked at Kris mockingly before answering, "Of course it's Kevin. Why did I come all the way here just for a traitor like you?"

"You're the traitor," Kevin butted in. "Aren't you originally a human? Why did you turn into a monster to attack humans?"

The monster laughed at Kevin's words. "I was human, but humans are very weak. So, when Professor Joseph came up with a new formula a while ago and needed a body to use it, I happily volunteered. This immense power immediately belongs to me without having to wait seventeen years like the power in your body, Kevin."

Kevin and Kris were stunned by Mario's confession. The two men both knew that Mario's power was far greater than theirs. His red aura was so strong and dense, and it intimidated them.

Kevin finally decided to transform. He knew that the current situation was really dangerous. His human body slowly turned into a white werewolf monster.

Kris glanced at Kevin and smiled. His lover could master his power well.

"Kev, he has the fire element, just like me. Use your power to knock him out. Try to attack from a distance so you will be safe. You understand?"

Kevin nodded in understanding after hearing the instructions given by the werewolf monster with brown hair beside him. The fire shouldn't be fought with fire, that was Kris's strategy.

Kevin had two types of powers inside his body. First was the advanced self-healing power that could heal himself in no time just like when he got into a car accident a while ago. And the second was ice power since he had an ice element within his body. The formula caused the temperature inside his body to drop to some extent that made him able to produce ice and also able to freeze objects that he touched.

The brown werewolf gave him some additional directions, and after they finished whispering to discuss their plans, the two monsters of different colors then nodded at each other before starting their attack.

The brown werewolf monster advanced at high speed first, intending to divert the attention of the enemy that was stronger than them. Kris tried to use his claws at his opponent, but the opponent promptly dodged.

He continued with the effort until finally, he turned to Kevin in the back and shouted, "Now, Kev!"

And Kevin started launching the pointed chunks of ice from his fist which were aimed at the monster. Kris quickly moved away from the monster to avoid the attack launched by his lover.

The giant monster was surprised to see how suddenly the ice came out of Kevin's body. No, Kevin's power didn't live up to Joseph's predictions!

Even though he was shocked to see the kind of power possessed by the white-haired werewolf, the giant red-haired monster still managed to dodge the attack. And, with just one flick of his right hand, the spiky chunks of ice turned around and moved quickly towards Kevin.

The white-haired werewolf monster could only widen his eyes without being able to move.
