Chapter 133 - Entering Greece
The plane landed, shuddering as the wheels touched the ground. It halted after a few seconds, and the plane doors swung apart. Lucas let go of the seat belt and he got up. He glanced at the window and saw that the airport was pretty sparse.
"Looks like there aren't many visitors coming here these days. Such a pity. What used to be one of the most central parts of Europe is now its weakest. It'll be nice though. Let's see all the sights at least once before going to Mount Olympus.
"You just like European chicks and you know it." Fenrir scoffed.
"That is the name of the game. They are the hottest in the world and you cannot deny that. I mean, that accent just keeps provocating me to do her more. Let us see if I strike this time. The last time I was here, I had to leave in a hurry because that asshole Zeus forced me on a timer." Lucas cursed.
"And why do you think that this time would be any different? He still hates you, and he is still afraid of me. You got that signature at the end, and you got her panties. That means that you hit the home run. Zeus tried for years and he was never able to get anywhere near Aphrodite. Even his son did, but he was not. Now, let us keep a low profile and do what is to be done. It is like Loki said. After the war is done, we will be on the winning side either way. That means that we will get our fair share of chicks no matter what happens." Fenrir said.
"Fine. Fine. You became such a kill joy ever since you entered Asgard again. What in the world changed you so much? Did you suddenly get enlightened or something and you do not want to do anything that is remotely wrong? I am just looking forward to doing a few girls and here you are saying that I need to have priorities. Why are we even doing this? So that we can have some fun later. Why not prepone the fun a little? Not going to destroy the world? In fact, it might as well save it." Lucas sighed as he said.
Fenrir did not respond, and Lucas was not looking forward to one. He got off the airplane and looked at the car that was waiting for him. It was a very stylish Rolls Royce, and it looked like that was the only brand of car that they used. The organization seemed to love this company. Even Lucas was getting a little irritated at seeing the same brand again and again.
"Next time, I do not want a goddamn driver. I want my own car. Get me a nice Bugatti. I want to drive through the streets myself. I can use the internet to assist myself." Lucas told the man who was standing in front of him, waiting for him to board the car.
"It shall be arranged, master. I will be sure to tell the higher ups that you want a car for yourself. Do you want us to empty the streets as well? We can arrange a path for you to enjoy yourself." the man suggested.
"Just give me the car and bugger off. Do not keep messing with what I do. I am way out of your league. These mortal moments are all that I have left. Do not take them away from me. I will kill you if you do." Lucas snarled.
"These men that your organization has, their uniform tarnishes the suit. Tailor made suits are supposed to be classy. Not a standard for these stupid bodyguards." Fenrir said.
"I will deal with all of that later. Let us focus on the task at hand, like you said. But I am just warning you. If some women throw themselves at me, I am not going to be the gentleman and say no. I am going to have fun that moment." Lucas said.
"Why the hell would women want to throw themselves at you? Don't kid yourself. You aren't James Bond." Fenrir scoffed.
"I am surprised that you remember that reference." Lucas raised his eyebrows.
"You forced me to watch it after all." Fenrir chuckled.
Lucas entered the car and the car zoomed forward. It headed straight to the largest mountain in Greece. Mount Olympus. The mountain was already visible from where they were. This was the nearest airport to the mountain after all. It was the closest to the gods.
As the car neared the mountain, Lucas felt an unpalatable sensation build up in his chest.
"Is someone going to attack us? Why am I so tensed all of a sudden? Stop the car. I do not like this feeling one bit. Fenrir get ready." Lucas said.
The car skid to a halt immediately, and Lucas jumped out of the car. He landed on the road, and looked up. The clouds were gathering, and building up a dark sky. The sky rumbled, and glimmers of lightning appeared.
"What the hell is happening? Did Raphael forget? I told him to tell Zeus that I was coming goddamn it." Lucas cursed, perhaps for the fifth time the same day.
His eyes turned red, and black fur appeared all over his hands.
"Let me handle this. A god's strike can only be handled properly by another god." Fenrir spoke.
"What are you doing in my domain, you detestable wolf? And these children of Lycan. I thought that I gave him a curse when I made him a wolf. But to think that so many would follow his footsteps and become his servants by accepting his power. Sometimes, I think that I should kill him. But it keeps escaping my mind at the opportune moment." a voice thundered from up above.
"Zeus. I knew you to be a very irritable person, but to think that you would be such a horrible host as well. What the hell is your problem? Why are you attacking me when I enter your territory in peace? Did those two humans not tell you that we were coming here?" Fenrir shouted loudly.
"I do not trust anyone when it comes to you, you damned wolf. I would rather not allow you than see my whole realm go up in flames." the same voice thundered.
"I am not here for you, or your damned mountain, you narcissistic asshole. I am here to meet someone else. Now, look at this with some reason, or we can just go fight it out. Let me just warn you that I have a weapon as well now, and you are not going to win." Fenrir growled. Two knuckle busters appeared on Lucas' hands at this moment.
The clouds converged, and a man appeared from the sky. He descended down in white robes and looked at Lucas with squinting eyes.
"Those weapons that you wield. I can sense Odin's power on them. Why would he give anything to you, whom he hates the most in the world?" Zeus asked, curiously.
"Because even he understands that when the world is ending, these stupid and pitiful feuds must end. Did those two not tell you? The world is coming to an end. There is a rebellion amongst the gods. They are ready to overthrow you, and here you are, turning back your own allies." Fenrir said coldly.
"Why would I think that you of all people is an ally? You would be the first person to defect into the rebellion. Your very nature is to destroy." Zeus growled.
"I would rather that Earth stay where it is. I like the mortal realm, and Apophis promises to destroy it. That is not what I stand for. Not anymore. So why don't you put down your weapon? I hate it when someone points a lightning strike against me." Fenrir said.
The sky turned clear instantly, and Zeus looked at Lucas curiously.
"What are you here for then? I do wish to know why someone like you would come here after what you did previously? You could have just stayed in Asgard. You could have stayed where Odin actually welcomes you. Why would you come here, where you would know that I would kill you?" Zeus asked, sparks of lightning forming at his finger tips.
"I have something that I need to do here. Nothing related to you. Something personal. And I would like to keep it that way. So if you please, I am going to the combined residence of many, many gods. Not just you. I also want to visit Hephesteus, see if he still has his charm." Lucas smiled as he walked past Zeus.
"As you said, this is my domain, as well as many others'. But I am still the king. And I will be there is you try to make any trouble for me at all." Zeus said coldly, and he vanished into thin air.
