Chapter 84: Raaz New Quest

"Next assignment, find the location." Raaz looked around and whispered, "even I don't know the location and don't tell me or anyone else. No matter what!"

Seth nodded!

Raaz spread the papers and marked some streets and their numbers and then gave Seth another box.

"The coin is the key. Don't lose it. And use this thing. You have seven days to find the place. Remember, don't tell anyone, even me!" Then he walked out fast.

Everything sounds fishy but Seth felt a great sense of urgency to do what he was asked. Sadly, convincing his parents to allow him to leave the house was going to be a hurdle. However, he knew what to do.

"What did he talk to you about!" Uncle Joseph asked. Seth was startled but seeing who it was, he calmed down and thought.

"Another Quest of his!" He answered.

"Is he threatening you?" Seth looked at Joseph wondering why is he now suspicious all of a sudden.

"No, it's nothing!"

Seth went to his room and opened his computer. A minute later a man in a hood appeared on the screen.

"What is it?!" A hoarse voice sounded, "Can you tell me what you know about the Abandoned city?"

"Why? You already have the map. What else do you need!" The man said.

"It's another quest."

The man didn't say a thing for a moment and then looked up and his skinny face appeared partially, "You brat, are you doing drugs now? I know it's hard living as a crippled but those drugs will kill you faster. The ones I'm sending are good with low side effects, okay? Get a grip and don't try to impress anyone if that is what was pushing you!"

Seth facepalmed, there was a time he would have done everything to get his hand on some powerful drug that may make him have body strength but it was no longer the case after those that he tried to impress were just viewing him as a joke.

"It wasn't that. I just want to know the type of people that usually go there and what they do!"

The skinny man in the hood wasn't convinced as he stared at Seth, he shook his head and said, "You think you have grown up to mingle with big boys? what I know was, it was mostly drug dealers, arms dealers, and I heard rumours of a black market that exists somewhere where all kinds of stuff are being sold and...."

"And…?" Seth asked expectedly.

"Rumours have it that the city still has a place where the illegal experiment happened!"

"I see! I want you to advise me. But before that, I will describe someone for you and make the decision based on him."

"I'm all ears!" The skinny man said.

Then Seth described Raaz's personality, his job and how influential he was and then asked If that guy wanted to kidnap someone what was the best way to do it.

"Silly question," The man was taken aback but after he thought he said, "It depends on what he needs from you. Don't do anything stupid. If you are planning on going to that city to meet someone better let me come with you!" The man flared.

"Calm down, I'm not an idiot. However, how about you send me a gun or any weapon to hold in case something happened somewhere else in our city? You know things are changing!"

"I'm not a fucking gun dealer you dumbass. And listen, there is no proper way how someone can kidnap you, there is only why he wants to and what purpose will the method serve!"

"I understand. But based on your instinct, what do you think?"

"Well, I think he was just a creep who wanted to brainstorm you. You know, you are one crazy shit if you decided to be one!"

Seth stared at the man with a smirk and said, "I will send you something, see if you can sell them and earn some things."

"I'm not broke!"

Without a goodbye, Seth cut off the connection. He sighed as he leaned back. His hand was on the large coin. His curiosity was high and wanted to reach this little mystery that Raaz gave him but he was conflicted.

His concern was what if this was an elaborate plan by Raaz to kidnap him? And if he was not careful, he would cause his family harm.

Click!

Someone entered the room, Seth turned with a frown and found his little cousin, Jason, "Seth, you have a delivery!" He handed Seth a large box.

"Thank you!"

Opening the box Seth was glad, it was a civilian gun he asked the man on the computer. "Hmm, this brother of mine has people in the city, all he did was call them to send me this!"

The gun was a revolver, with 100 2mm static bullets made of plastic. They pack a punch but do not kill unless one was shot in the eyes or the shock causes the person's injury to worsen. But that was not enough.

"Seth. I want you to burrow me, Sapphire. I'm going to the meeting in the Capital!"

Seth's eyes lit up. "I'm an idiot!" He thought he already had a car that could solve his problem. Why was he dilly-dallying? The truth was he had been feeling he forgot something important until now.

But then he realized that since he came back from that incident he hadn't entered the car or even gotten close to her. And the reason was, that he still held a lingering fear of what he saw her capable of doing.

Meeting the unknown humans tends to be paranoid for no reason but Seth has a reason. What happened that night was just mind-blowing that it may take time for him to digest everything.

Seth thought deeply before he looked at his sister and asked "Can I come with you?"

"It will take three days before I return and Lady Manulla said you will resume class tomorrow!" Anna refused.

"Okay. tell Sapphire your full name, she will register you as a rider!"

"Okay," Anna said before she sauntered out. Later she came back, "she said 'low battery.' How do you even charge the car?" Anna complained.

"Awe. Let me go and check on her!" Seth said in understanding.

Seth reached the parking lot and entered the car. A screen lit up and it showed that it was charging with Active Terran Energy.

"We will be on a mission after you come back!"

<To?>

"Dama State"

<That is dangerous. You can't go there!>
