Chapter 82: Seana and Raaz

Two weeks after Metroid's impact, Seana decided to visit Raaz and talk to him. Her marriage was cancelled because of a slander that went viral about her and that ignited more anger in her and she allowed him to rot longer.

"You look good!" She said as she looked at Raaz's scrawny body.

"It was a mistake!" Raaz's dried voice cackled in her ears.

"I know!" She answered.

He looked at her without knowing what he should feel, anger, rage or pity but then he shook his head—that was not the most important thing, in the tortured session he had a lot of time to think about life and the world and what invokes that thought was the matroids.

Raaz had heard a rumour that this would be coming to an end again and only the new source of energy can save them. He doesn't know how but it was what was circulating among some special people.

"I didn't know you hate me that much?" Raaz asked.

"You should have told them where the item was and stopped all this. Or you could have called your lawyer but you didn't!" Seana flared.

He didn't do that because there was an annoying kid he was protecting. The roasted device was with the TE. Telling them about it was like exposing himself to the knowledge of knowing where TE can be gotten.

"Now, tell me where my Chip is. You said you will say it if I'm here!"

She may act tough but she was actually sad seeing him in that situation.

"The truth is, it was destroyed!" He crackled.

She froze as she stared at him. "What did you say?" He just stared at her. Then she turned around looking at the mirror on a wall. Someone from the other side said, "He is telling the truth!"

That was her life's work and it was that item that made her Class A in her country and Class C in the world—without it, she may be demoted and lose everything.

For some reason she can not create another one, the device was partially an accident and she can't replicate it exactly no matter how she tried only half-baked ones.

"You took in all the torture as a form of payment for destroying my life!" She gritted under her breath. Her eyes were red and her body trembling as she glared at his skinny body and Raaz looked down.

Seana walked out of the room, fast and when she was far away she slumped down. Lamenting why she gave him the device in the first place. Even though she usually lent it to him, and sometimes he kept it safe, they fought why didn't she refuse him?

Raaz was dragged back to his cell but the next day, he was released free of charge. And even the brand Criminal was cleaned out.

As he walked out of the detention centre, he muttered, "One will never know what is in a woman's mind."

Raaz assumed that knowing she lost the device will make her crazy and he will face more hardship but the opposite was happening.

He visited somewhere and drove to her home. Even when she saw it was him through the screen, she still opened the door. They stared at each other before she allowed him to enter and they sat at a table silently.

As he placed the device on the table she looked at it with a sad face, "Well!" She managed to say with a sigh, "How?"

"When it comes to secrets I trust you." He said. Seana just stared back. "When things fall, we all fall." He added observing her intently.

She sighed before pressing something that isolated their conversation and turning off all devices.

"I'm not going to work with the rebels?" She said. She assumed that Rebels have contacted him and he wants to rope her in.

"It's a business. I don't want you to investigate. if you give me your word we will continue and… you will benefit more than me!" He said ignoring her.

"What business?"

"I found a golden goose. I know that you are an idiot, you may seek to slaughter it and we will lose the golden eggs. Give me your world and the business may begin!" He asserted. Ready to walk out if he doesn't want the business.

"I gave you my word as long as it's not a deal with Rebels I will not investigate or seek answers from you and I will cooperate to the best of my ability!"

Raaz sighed and sat back, "You didn't provide me water?"

She frowned but nevertheless, brought him juice and some snacks. He ate like a hungry wolf. When he finished he found her patient warning.

"Can you provide me with 100 TEIC?" He asked.

She was confused, "Is that the business?" He nodded, "Yes!"

"When can I get them?" He asked as he stretched his legs and back and leaned on the couch.

She walked to her room and came with a box. "I'm stockpiling them because maybe in the future they will be in demand. Sometimes I dismantle them to make some devices. Here are 10 for free. But anyone you are buying will be 1000 Uni. In the future, they will reach up to 10,000 Uni!" She explained.

He leaned forward and checked the box, they were authentic.

"Can you get me a Bronze Cabin?"

"I have ordered about ten. But I still didn't get them. But I have their TEIC. Price 5000Uni!"

"Give me 10!"

She brought them. Raaz stood and said, "Questions!" And put a black box in her hand, and then grabbed the boxes of TEIC and stormed out of the house.

She didn't follow him but opened the Box. Her hand suddenly trembled, and cold sweat washed over her as she quickly closed the box.

'This is worse than the Rebels!'

She ran to her bunker and put the whole house in super security then she… carefully opened the black box and checked the TEIC that was filled with Terran Energy which was in the form of Gas.

"Fuck you Raaz this is worse. Not just Rabel, the whole world would come after me if they knew I had it?'

It took her some time before she calmed down and then stored TEIC in a safe environment while her brain was running fast trying to find how she could integrate this energy into her invention.

Still, a fearful bit jumped in joy. She then felt guilty for what she subjected Raaz to and yet he still came to her with this despite that he had others to turn to.

'You can never understand a man's heart!' She mused!"
