Chapter 123: Match Ended
Chapter 123: Match Ended
Everyone's eyes were focused on Akash alone, there was not a single person who wasn't awed by the deadly swing of Akash Tagar. One of the judges gasped suddenly.
"Hahh, look at this"
He said to his fellow judges and pointed his index finger at the shield, there was a long visible gash on it.
"Did... did he cause this cut?"
"No fucking way, he is only at 3rd Star realm"
"This lad is unique, he has been amazing us since the very first day."
The judges were about to move towards the shield to inspect it, while suddenly, the gash vanished and the shield became spotless like before. The judges were startled, repairing the huge octagon shield would require many experts and a large amount of time.
"Who was that?"
Out of nowhere, a greenish smoke emerged in the stadium, engulfing the crowd. Akash was no different, he quickly covered his head with his golden cloak. The smoke only lasted few seconds and vanished, no one knew what happened. Even King Akash was puzzled by that uncommon smoke, witnessing no any reaction from smoke, Akash uncovered his head. He put his sword back in his spatial ring and moved towards the girls, the one nearest was Irum.
"Don't... don't come closer"
She uttered out of sheer fear
"Did someone tell you that you speak a lot?"
Akash sarcastically asked
"Huh! What do you me..."
~BAANNGGG~
Before she could complete, Akash Tagar struck her with a straight punch in the face. She flew away and her back collided with the shield, before her wobbly body could fall on the ground, Akash dashed as fast as greased lightning and grabbed her by her hair. Compared to Akash she was 1 foot shorter, the king pulled her hair upward and her body was lifted.
"You bunch of weak squaws believed that you can defeat me with those measly beasts?"
Akash asked Unconscious Irum, her nose was broken, bloodlets dripped out of it.
"I wanted to be lenient with you all, but instead of being reasonable and smart, you chose the path of idiocy. From the beginning, you were as cocky as the king of spades and that is the biggest mistake in a life-threatening battle, calmness is what needed in such a situation. You kept insulting me during the match, as a result, I am forced to punish you. Think of this beating as a lesson from senior, a lesson you'll never forget in a lifetime"
Akash Tagar said and let go of Irum's hair, the punished lass fell miserably. The impact she suffered against the shield damaged her spinal cord.
The King turned his gaze towards Simran, with a single dash. Akash reached the chubby girl, her body started to tremble.
"Don't worry, I won't hit you like her"
Akash spoke
"Huh?"
Simran was confused
"I heard everything, you wanted to go with the decision of your team leader. But, these two girls forced you"
Akash said as he looked at Natasha and Mish.
"Ahh... yes yes, you are right. They threatened me t..."
~SLLAAAPP~
A thunderous slap violated the virtue of Simran's chubby cheeks, she fell on her knees. Her mind became dizzy, she felt something in her mouth. She spat out and found blood and teeth in it, she looked at Akash with eyes begging for mercy.
"Wou faiv wou fomt hif mee (You said you won't hit me)"
"You misheard it, I said I won't hit you like I did to her. I never said I won't hurt you, I'm a man of my word"
"Phuf I waz forfez (But I was forced)"
"These are all lame excuses, this punishment was for your betrayal. Never turn your back on your friend at any cost, even if your life is on the line"
Simran lowered her hand and started to cry, Akash sighed and moved.
"That leaves two more, right?"
The Sage Scholar said as he stepped towards the two remaining girls.
"I surrender!!"
Natasha said loudly, she hit Mish with her elbow to surrender as well. But before the horrified Mish could surrender, Akash ran and punched her in her stomach. The thin girl's feet were lifted from the ground, blood poured out of her mouth. She curled up in a ball and coughed vigorously, her painful cries pierced the hearts of spectators.
"Save.. me... ple... ase. Somebody... save me"
Natasha uttered in a dim voice, her heart sank in fear. Her body refused to accept her commands. For her, the man slowly marching towards her was not Akash Tagar but an angel of death coming to take her life.
"Pleeeaaasseeee, saavvee mee"
Natasha cried and collapsed on the ground, unconscious.
"Stop"
The referee spoke, Akash halted his feet.
"The match ends here"
Referee said
"Then announce it"
The King replied
The referee nodded and announced.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the winner of this round is Abran city."
"What! The illusionist dragon win the bet"
"Unbelievable, how did this happen?"
"Haha, hell yeah. I knew it"
"Bravo! What a fascinating performance, I was right on supporting Abran city"
People started to talk the moment the referee announced.
Akash sighed and looked at Carno
"It was a great match, but the luck was on my side"
Akash said and moved towards the exit.
"Haha... hahaha... Luck was on his side? Does he take me as a fool"
Carno mumbled as he was looking at the leaving back of Akash Tagar
The spectators were filled with various emotions, but the one dominating the rest was fear.
"This man is dangerous, sir"
A female said to a man sitting beside him. The female was brown-skinned, dressed as a secretary. The man on the other hand was tall and slim, he had a small trimmed moustache, the man was wearing shorts and black goggles hiding his eyes.
"I know he is and this is exactly why I am here in person."
The man lowered the glasses on his nose and squinted his eyes.
"So, that motherfucker bet on him. Haha, quite amusing."
Out of a sudden, the stadium started to quake, everyone was alarmed.
"Sir, control yourself"
The lady said
"Haha, I'm sorry. Even the thought of defeating Bernard Maracass in mere bet gives me goosebumps, I don't know how I'll feel when I'll kill him with my own hands"
The man said with a nasty wide grin on his face.
"That will never happen, sir."
"Huh! Why?"
"Because you are also one of the Ten Dragons like him."
