Chapter 15 Mission Hall
“Let’s enter.”
No one bothered Leo and Julia as everyone was busy with their things.

…..
There were all types of missions on the mission board, and mostly all of them were requested by the city hall.
A few of them were requested by wealthy individuals who didn’t want to go out of the city to risk their lives.
Some humans awakened talents related to Forging, Alchemy, and other non-combat talents. Since they didn’t have much-attacking power, they could only put the requests on the mission board as they don’t lack Hero coins.
Hero coins are made up of a unique metal that became available after the appearance of the hideous monsters.
The otherworldly beings evaluated it as good metal to be used as the currency in the new world. So, all the cities’ leaders started creating coins from that metal and made it a currency among the heroes.
One hero coin is equivalent to 10000 credits, and each mission on the mission board offers at least 100 Hero coins. When converted into credits, it would be one million credits.
‘Hero coins.’
For Leo, Hero coins were not a novel to him; however, he didn’t bring many Hero coins with him, and the ones he bought with him were used up along his journey.
‘If not for that event, I would have been one of the richest heroes.’
Remembering something from his past, Leo shook his head and continued, ‘Nevertheless, I don’t regret it. It was the best thing I did in my life.’
‘If I didn’t want to hide my strength, I would have directly picked an advanced mission.’
At the same time, Leo thought about the advanced missions, which pay more than the elite missions.
“Brother Leo, which missions shall we pick?”
Even though there were a lot of missions, one person could pick only one mission, and only after completing that mission could they pick another mission.
Right now, Leo and Julia could each pick a mission, and since Leo was the strongest, Julia asked him to choose the missions for them.
“Let’s complete these two missions.”
After checking the mission board thoroughly, Leo found the two missions that would pay a lot, and at the same time, he noted down the details of the missions and the one who requested that mission in his mind.
“Greedy mountain bandits and Clearing the iron ore caves?”
Julia looked at the mission details, and after checking the dangers regarding those two missions, she became a little worried and asked, “Are you sure about this mission?”
She had enough confidence in Leo taking care of the iron ore cave after witnessing how he burnt all the snakes in the Serpent caverns.
However, she felt uneasy reading the ‘Greedy mountain bandits’ mission.
Unlike the iron trolls, the mountain bandits are humans, and according to the hidden danger of the mission, there might be hundreds of mountain bandits.
Even though Leo might be a rank 6 advanced hero, it would be difficult for him to go against hundreds of elite heroes.
“Do you not have enough confidence in me?”
Leo could see the concern in her eyes and asked her with a barely seen smile on his face.
‘No. I have confidence in you, Brother Leo; however, killing humans….’
“So, you are against killing humans?”
Before Julia could finish her words, Leo suddenly realized something and shook his head.
‘I am an idiot for not thinking about it.’
Leo realized that Julia had lived a completely different life than him. So, what is right in his perspective might not be right in her viewpoint.
So, he decided to put the mission back on the mission board as he didn’t want Julia to run away from him for being merciless against those mountain bandits.
“No. That’s not it. I am just worried about you, Brother Leo.”
Julia shook her head and continued, “I hate heroes who do evil things and bully the weak. If I had power, I would have killed those mountain bandits myself.”
“Huh?”
Leo raised his brows and asked, “So, you are not against killing evil heroes?”
“Yes and I hope the city leader sends some of the city guards to kill those mountain bandits quickly.”
Julia said her thoughts regarding the ‘Greedy mountain bandits’.
“It’s decided then. We are taking this mission.”
After hearing Julia’s words, Leo didn’t hesitate and decided to complete the mission ‘Greed mountain bandits’ first.
