Chapter 20 20: White Tiger And Kuro Hebi [1]
After leaving the cafe, Amon felt he was okay for now. Rebecca was important, but he couldn't forget the main problems; his mother's company had too many rats and people who were supposed to be family eating the core and selling the scraps to make do.
'Those bastards are why my father died... Don't think I am some ungrateful cunt!'
His violet eyes almost glowed as the gentle hum of his engine sounded, currently waiting for his maid to arrive as he looked down at her message from an hour ago.
- Velvet White Tiger
Master, your mother made me tell her about our actions together; she is a fierce woman and different from the past.
Forgive this worthless maid; she could not lie.
I have the documents and some extra gifts from your mother; she also mentioned a woman who will be sent to help you arrange the company and will live in your apartment; I feel this Eastern woman is strong... But her heart was fixated on Master's mother and Master himself.
Trustworthy and pure.
Her name is... Mido Kizuna.
She can use a lie-detecting cultivation technique, so don't lie or use petty tricks.
I will meet you outside your family's gym in Shazong; I hope you can prepare two training outfits and will be ready to suffer.
White Tigeress

Amon didn't need the tip as he knew the woman was devoted to falling beside his mother all his life. But the tone of Elma, which was both severe and slightly gentle for her, was enough to cheer him up.
He couldn't expect to win her heart with a full day of sex, but he could feel that now he was not seen as an outsider or enemy; that's the best start he could ask for as he liked this woman, neither a heroine nor villain in the novel.
A forgotten woman that vanished from the world because the [Supreme Being] forgot her.
In the past worlds, she rarely spoke; even when Ethan tried to win over both her and Ming Xue, there was no test, as he failed before even entering the door.
'It seems that Ming Xue is the same in this life; I need to beat her in her best talent, business. Ethan tried in the past, but instead of using his skill in business, he used brute force; after making money, he ruthlessly bought out her family's assets and businesses, causing her to become disgusted with him.'
"She isn't looking for a strong man, but a man that can compete and make her feel the desire to improve her talents..."
Knock Knock!
A soft tapping sounded as a beautiful woman tapped his tinted windows; Amon slowly lowered them as he thought he recognised this woman, but she was more elegant and beautiful than his memory.
'Come to think of it... In my past lives, I only saw this woman after Alice and Ethan wounded her... losing her right eye and becoming scarred across her face; I didn't realise she was so beautiful.'
"Miss Mido, correct? My mother sent you to aid me with the business and pharmaceutical matters?"
"Mmm?"
Kizuna seemed a little shocked, like she never expected him to be so observant, as she noticed the passenger door opened, his hand gesturing for her to enter.
"You are probably a little confused, right? All the documents and details referring to me as a useless rich boy, using money and foul means to try picking up women and failing miserably, right?"
Mido Kizuna didn't affirm or deny him, her elegant body dressed in black tights, a long black skirt with a side slit, not too long as to avoid perverted gazes, her black jacket was a designer brand forced on her by his mother, with a white silk blouse, a small golden badge with a serpent and Eastern sword, showing her family and clan's symbol.
"Master Winchester, it is not my place to judge, even if the documents and information state that way. I can feel this was not the real you, or rather... It may not have been your intention."
'Here it is, she's testing me, that swirling glow in her eyes, it was always described but never did I notice it. Is this the power of being a cultivator myself? Able to see the ebb and flow of the world's aura and energies?'
He shook his head, admiring the beautiful lady who looked at him with a neutral and unjudging look.
Mido Kizuna had long black hair, its glossy shine shimmering in the mid-afternoon sun; she had the beautiful eastern princess haircut, with long bangs across her cheeks and the fringe cut just above her eyebrows in a straight line bordering her heart-shaped face.
Amon watched as she pressed her pale red lips together, blinking at him with her almond-coloured eyes swirling with a strange blue light.
'This woman always served my mother; why should I lie to her now and risk breaking that line of trust with my stupid insecurities about my changes? I planned to tell my mother one day when I understood the truth myself.
"To be honest, in the past, I was a horrible man, no longer just a mere boy intoxicated by money and my false idea of power. Even if other reasons or things were forcing me to act that way... I still acted that way. So I shall accept all those years' sins and negative impact and stupid actions."
He didn't say anything fancy, simply speaking his honest feelings; there was no dramatic acting or trying to make himself sound pathetic or tragic. Amon was not innocent; he sinned countless times in that life; otherwise, how would a villain take the virginity of most women in the novel?
However, thinking back on that now, it felt like this world was based on some poisonous novel; what author lets the heroines sleep with the villain and the supposed Hero is forced to remain a virgin until the last volume of the book?
'Having someone who can see through lies... wouldn't that be the most soothing woman to have as my ally? All my worries and concerns, not seen as a joke or something stupid, but my truth?'
Kizuna looked at him with a strange look, her eyes widening for a few moments as the blue waves didn't stir, instead becoming calm as she whispered, "truth" under her breath.
Amon could never know her thoughts; he was not a magician, but knowing that Kizuna disliked liars, especially males. She hated when they lied about things like speaking to her to get her into bed or to sleep with her.
Since she couldn't control her power, it was almost always on; she couldn't see a person's thoughts but their lies and ill intent.
Some might find it annoying, disgusting and wrong, but Amon wanted someone, someone like her, to balance his broken mind and shattered heart; the countless lives were jammed into his head, and sometimes he couldn't even know if it was him speaking, the paranoia and fear might be soothed, knowing this woman could see if it was a false him saying, or he lied, which he hoped would wake him up.
"Then, about Alice Murdock... your mother wanted me to ask, please forgive me if I offend you, Master Winchester."
"You can call me Amon; only call me master when I've earned your respect and loyalty like mother, Miss Mido."
Her eyes flickered before she nodded; not having to fake deep respect for him was a burden off her shoulders, too; she wouldn't be disrespectful, but his words were enough.
"Then, Amon. Do you love her?"
Amon didn't answer for a moment, twisting the engine's ignition as the hum of his engine began to roar louder, pulling the handbrake as he leaned over like with Rebecca and fastened the seatbelt for Kizuna; she didn't refuse as he didn't do anything untoward, she liked men, not those that lied with weak excuses to approach her.
The moment his car began to accelerate, his lips opened, a strange look on his face as he contemplated the many lives, sometimes as lovers, he would date Marina or Silfina first.
"Honestly... I don't think so; maybe once I might have loved her... if it was my choice... even now, I don't know."
Kizuna was silent; her wavy blue pupils still showed he was telling the truth.
"But, something allowed me to change, to become who I am today... The chance to save my mother and support her... So why can't Alice change... I won't deny I like her body, we've already had sex, so who is to say one day, even she too can change... But right now... My impression of the existence of [Alice Murdock] is that of a bitter enemy."
Amon was not speaking of the Alice of this world, but the collective women he met with that name; some broke his heart, and in some lives, she spilt tears for him and managed to discover the truth; the story never finished the same, and this is why he was so apprehensive to believe that voice.
He still didn't believe this was a completely free world...
The next moment he leaned over, turning on the radio as a regular broadcast played, his eyes widening, face turning pale, as the muscles and aura in his body surged like crazy; the car began to speed well over the limit, almost swerving as Kizuna gripped onto her seat tightly, looking at the strange Amon.
Sweat oozed from his forehead; he began to whisper things about his mother dying, Kizuna herself dying, losing everything, becoming a pawn...
Kizuna began to doubt her gif for the first time because none of his words were lies.
All of them were real, the truth. It wasn't some skill that could be tricked by making someone believe that was the truth; it could see into the reality of the world, thus even if he was saying this because he thought it was false.
Her eyes would see the lies, but they were still like a gentle lake!
His red car sprinted down the road, its engine roaring, but thankfully, the roads were clear; any vehicles that saw such an expensive engine speeding turned onto a different route, and after 10 minutes of silence, his strange heavy breathing and whispering slowly calmed down as they parked outside the gym his mother bought on a whim.
A familiar white tigress, wearing an elaborate Franzian maid outfit, stood waiting like a statue, her beautiful fair skin protected under a small canopy.
In silence, he began to leave the car, almost forgetting the existence of Kizuna, who suddenly called him back to sense.
He turned to her, seeing a concerned face as she leaned over like an older sister and began to wipe the sticky sweat from his forehead; her scent was like rose blossoms as he felt soothed, embarrassed that hearing about Erlang's death, causing him to lose his cool.
"Amon!"
"Sorry, Kizuna, hearing that man's death caused me to lose my cool..."
"Shall we go inside? I have to train with my maid as I lack in all places; it would be great if you also helped me train... If you need overtime pay, I will contact Mother."
"No... It's fine... Are you alright?"
'Oi... voice... come out.... what do you mean, why is he dead? I thought I had saved him..! Give me some answers!'
