Chapter 110: XXI I Believe I Can Fly!

Six months later.

Elijah was sitting in his office inside his manor signing documents. After he was done, he immediately entered the deep meditation state.

In the main hall, Elijah saw the three illusory bodies standing close to one another before he spotted three new doors appearing beside the first door which leads to a florist dimension.

But no matter how hard he tried, none of those three doors opened. One of the things he first noticed when he formed the three bodies was that now when he used the vital power, spiritual force and primeval energy, they would slowly merge into a new power.

He first noticed this when he was in Kine Village and this power made every creature in the area to faint. Of course, he could not use that again as he did not dare make time even smaller.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"You may come in, the door is unlocked."

Hearing Elijah's voice, a woman wearing a mask entered inside the office.

Elijah knew who it was, Shael Farlen or the Nightmare Queen, which is how people use to call her is a Spirit Division Expert and of the most powerful beings in the B region Citadel. No one know of which race she is part of, only that she trained her spiritual force in the illusion's laws to such a high level that if she is not using a mask, people who look at her face will see their worst nightmares coming true.

The reason she was here was because after those six months, the city lord recommended him to participate in the tournament in the citadel happening in less that one week from now.

When Elias was recommended, there was a huge disagreement between most of the powerful factions and the highest ranking officers, as they did not want to allow anyone who just arrived in the city to attend such an important event. The city lord called all those people to a meeting and on the next day, they all started to support Elijah in the tournament.

And Elijah was notified that in the next few days the citadel would send someone to take him, but before him go. Elijah bought a huge batch of herbs, potions, rare metals and artifacts he could only find in the city before giving it to Keith and Luna before sending them to the Orion Palace (The new name Elijah had decided to give to the Prime King Palace). Elijah also gave his original foundation pill to Luna, helping her break into the fourth spirit realm.

He also told the palace spirit to take them to Earth to ask his ancestor about his sister location and tell him using a communication artifact that Elijah fused into his smartphone to send small messages and calls through different galaxies.

Seeing who the citadel send to take him, Elijah was visibly frightened because of all the stories his coworkers told him. Like when if you saw her face, you would faint, if you gaze at her eyes, you would lose your mind and want to touch her, but if she touch you, even if just a little, you would immediately kill yourself.

At first he wondered if these stories were a bit too exaggerated, but when he saw she was wearing a mask, he started to believe that it held some truth or she would not be using the mask.

"So, you are the representative this time. I think that other than being a bit too young... Wow less than twenty. You must have a strong courage to participate in a competition where most of the participants are all way past hundred years. You already prepared the things you will bring with you?" A cold female voice was heard as the masked woman started taking out a artifact from her ring.

"Yes, I ready. Wait, what you are taking out." Elijah raised his smartphone where he stored all his things and he noticed that the thing that Shael was taking out was a pair of white wings.

"Put on those wings." Shael just threw the wings at him as she said.

"I don't even know what this is, how could I know how to use."

Shael walked to his back, taking the wings out of his hands and pressing each of the wings on his back. Elijah felt a pricking pain as the wings penetrated his flesh and connected with his bones.

"Those wings are an Nature Artifact, they are impossible to be ranked, but they are used to make people fly without the use of magic. Look, I also have one." Turning back her back at him, Elijah saw two purple wings spread from her back and he couldn't hold his admiring gaze to the wings.."Wow, I never knew that artifacts like this even existed."

Leaving the manor, all the guards would give envious looks at the wings behind Elijah and Shael.

Reaching the garden, Shael reached the skies with a single and beautiful leap.

"Come! you just need to follow me."

Elijah tried to do the same thing, concentrating his strength on his legs, he jumped, but immediately noticed that he used a too much power on his leap.

While he was screaming so loud that the entire city could hear, Elijah crashed right in the middle of the sky tower.

"Oh Shit!"

Breaking the glass, Elijah saw himself flying through the tower and leaving through another window, hitting a few dozen trees before smashing on the ground.

"I will have to master this."
