Chapter 1068 Hyenas

Chapter 1068  Hyenas

Michael didn't investigate too much into the happenings around the Supreme Human Alliance, but he told Thorn Merchandise and other organizations that'd received Soultrait Symbols from him what he thought of the situation. He did not even think about forcing them to do anything because that was not how this was supposed to work, but he requested the organizations take the human races' circumstances into consideration.

The Altors Union was a little bit more difficult to handle, especially with a few gods of the Altors Union revealing themselves, returning to the surface to reclaim their rightful spot at the head of the Altors Union's council, but the gods were more reasonable than the Heads. In fact, the Heads were dismissed almost immediately after the gods learned about their betrayals. The Heads betrayed not only the Nest but also the Elders and Michael. The former was already a problem, but the latter two points were the bigger issue. If Michael had been petty, he could have crushed the Altors Union now that the Primal fled. They escaped, running out of Michael's sight because he had been powerful enough to kill a Primal. The gods of the Altors Union were unwilling to fight someone like that.

Their chances of survival in life-and-death battle with Michael were close to zero. Thus, instead of provoking Michael or doing anything to displease him any further, the gods of the Altors Union assembled to reorganize the Union and dismiss everyone responsible for all betrayals.

Michael couldn't tell if they would have done that if the Heads hadn't betrayed him, but that didn't matter. The only important matter was the removal of the Heads. The new leaders of the Altors Union were far more pleasant to deal with. That was a great, advantageous change.

He talked to the new leaders a few times but didn't involve himself too much with any of the leaders. If anything, Michael was busy talking to various gods and other leaders of the largest unions and alliances across the cosmos to come up with guidelines for wars, skirmishes, and other troubles. It might be fine to leave all gods around, allowing them to do whatever they wanted, but that left too many doubts and questions unanswered. n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Discovering and solving all questions, doubts, and troubles was something Michael and others focused on. Simultaneously, Michael spent months digesting the Primal Essence. It was deeply integrated into his War Rune but had yet to be fused perfectly. That was what Michael did in the following months, all while traveling through the cosmos, trying to find out how many gods had been hiding and how strong they were.

Even though he'd defeated a Primal, six Primals were still alive and hiding somewhere, probably gathering their forces and devising plans to kill him. All they had to do was attack him together, but they were probably too afraid to do so. Michael couldn't tell what exactly they were thinking, but given their arrogance and the events of the past – the fact that neither of the Primal had been injured since the beginning of time – it was obvious the Primal would be careful.

That made them far more dangerous, which was one of Michael's issues. He thus traveled across the cosmos, hoping to find more allies to clash with the Primal once they arrived to kill him. They would certainly attack him together, which was why Michael needed at least six Major Gods as strong or stronger than Sleipnir. The Major Gods, who'd fought the Primal, distracting them as long as possible to grant Michael more time alone with Primal Xerx, were either dead or too injured to fight the Primal again.

Michael had healed their physical wounds with his Divinity and River of Vigor, but they needed more than that. Their Essences had been injured as well. Only Sleipnir was fine, mostly, and ready to fight the Primal again. He wasn't afraid. If anything, he was eager to fight the Primal again and ready to rumble.

Unfortunately, not every god thought like that. Many Rebels left to be with their families now that one of the Primal had been killed and the others fled. They were tired and thought everything would change now that Michael had killed one.

While that might be true, it required more to ensure the changes would be permanent.

Thus, months turned into years before the Primal Essence was fully merged with Michael. He found a few interesting people spread across the cosmos, and most were pleasant to be around, but only a handful was willing to fight the Primal head-on. The rest were only willing to support him from the shadows, helping him locate the Primal and implement various changes to the civilizations of the universe. Their help was good enough, but it didn't help with the main problem. The Primal had been discovered less than one month into the network of gods looking for them, but Michael didn't consider attacking them. The Primal were together, alone in a full galaxy of…nothing.

Michael learned from Primal Xerx that the galaxy was actually the origin and that it had been full of life when the origin was born. Countless powerful beings would have lived in the origin, but the Primal, or those who managed to survive the Beginning and become the Primal, removed every possible threat before they could grow strong enough. The Primal eradicated the entire galaxy of the Beginning to maintain the strongest existence of the universe.

Michael threatened this claim, which angered them. However, anger was only one of the many emotions the Primal felt for the first time in eons. They were forced to work together and devise a plan to defeat Michael.

Because alone, they would fail, while together…together they were stronger. The lone wolves combined their forces, creating a pack of Primal. However, they couldn't figure out who would lead them. They…were fighting for the lead.

Every Primal considered themselves the strongest, and neither of them was willing to work for the other. Therefore, the pack of wolves transformed into the chaotic group of hyenas. They fell over each other and fought.

Michael let them be, hoping they would clash a few more years.

After all, his territory was slowly but steadily advancing to a Primal Region. They should wait until he was done upgrading his territory. After that, Michael was ready for a dance with the six Primal whether they fought alone or together did not matter!

He would defeat them one way or another!
