Chapter 21: Heavenly Rulers

"Damn! It's too big in here..." 

Yen Chen spoke loudly as soon as he entered the Celestial River Pavilion, drawing the attention of all the Cultivators in the hall who were immediately stunned by the supreme beauty of Su Ling and the other women around him.

"Isn't that the strongest cultivator in the city, Mrs. Su? Why are she and her younger sister holding hands with that young man?"

"Silence!" Yen Chen frowned as he listened to these little cultivators talking and spat coldly, leaving everyone in a state of shock.

The cultivators tried to move their bodies or some parts of it but even after using all their strength they couldn't and were horrified. Su Ling rolled her eyes and slapped herself on the forehead, Lili and Zoe looked at each other and laughed softly.

Tang Xue was left  shaken, she hadn't expected him to be so powerful that just a single word would be enough to paralyze hundreds of cultivators from the Golden Core Realm and the Soul Condensation Realm with only a few having a cultivation base at the Stage Initial of the Earth Realm.

'That's.... Absolute suppression." She widened her eyes of sheer amazement.

Absolute suppression occurs when a living being destined to be the ruler type uses its will to give orders to other living beings weaker than it, of course there are many restrictions and the first is the cultivation base.

It's common knowledge that someone with a higher cultivation base than a ruler-type being is immune to Absolute Suppression. That's why Tang Xuicou was shocked, Yen Chen is using Absolute Suppression on cultivators three Realms above his! This is incredibly shocking.

The Earth Realm Cultivators tried to use their Cultivation bases to resist the invisible force that was trapping them but went pale with fear when they felt their meridians and Datian sealed by the invisible force.

"Humph! Get out of the way." Yen Chen snorted coldly and led Su Ling and the other women straight into the elevator, the Cultivators' bodies moved alone and made way for them.

Yen Chen and the six women entered the elevator without so much as a glance at the Cultivators' terrified faces. Yen Chen looked at the employees of the Heavenly River Pavilion and called a beautiful woman to guide them.

The elevator doors closed and the next moment he began to ascend to the fourth floor. The absolute suppression suddenly disappeared, causing all the cultivators in the lobby to breathe a sigh of immense relief.

"Fuck! Who the hell is that monster! He only said one word but it sounded more like a command from an Emperor." One Cultivator cursed with clenched fists, it was quite uncomfortable not being able to move or use his cultivation base to resist.

Rulers are the Supreme geniuses most loved by the Heavenly Daos, each one of them is a Monster Supreme who has ruled an era and that young man is one!" The senior cultivator scolded and explained with his eyes shining with admiration. 

All the cultivators were totally shocked. Who didn't know what a Ruler was? The cultivator who had spoken before shuddered with his face pale with fear, the surrounding cultivators swallowed and thanked Yen Chen for not killing them, after all, this would be extremely easy for Yen Chen.

"A ruler has appeared, so the Era is about to..." An old man muttered but didn't finish his words.

The Cultivators remained silent but fear could be seen in their eyes, even the employees of the Heavenly River Pavilion were tense without knowing what to do.

"Husband! What was that? Are you a god?" Lili hugged Yen Chen's arm and asked excitedly. Zoe and Sun Xi looked at him with similar expressions, only Su Rou, Su Ling and Tang Xue were calm.

Yen Chen frowned and shook his head: "I don't know, I got angry at the looks and comments from those idiots and the rest you already know..."

Lili, Zoe and Sun Xi were confused, while Su Ling, Su Rou and Tang Xue choked with eyes wide with pure horror. The three women looked at each other and decided not to tell him anything for the time being, but unfortunately they didn't know that Yen Chen has a Goddess resting in his soul.

Mei replied and explained calmly.

"Wow, those rulers seem to be very powerful." Yen Chen's golden eyes sparkled and his blood began to circulate much faster. An indomitable desire for battle was born in his soul.

"Humph! They're quite powerful by the standard of heavenly geniuses but you're far above a little ruler, but don't underestimate them..." Mei sneered.

Yen Chen nodded and hugged Sun Xi's slender waist, making her blush slightly; she looked down at him only to receive a soft kiss on the lips. Lili and the other women were envious but didn't dare say anything.

The attendant at the Heavenly River Pavilion blushed slightly seeing the two of them being so intimate at this very moment. The elevator took a while to reach the fourth floor. The Celestial River Pavilion building is huge, easily the largest building in the city, which is why it took so long.

The elevator doors opened revealing an old man with a short white beard with a gentle smile on your face, behind him there is two middle-aged men with powerful auras and sharp eyes. Yen Chen sensed immense danger coming from the three of them, he his was a little shocked, hardly anyone in this city could give him such a powerful sense of danger.

The old man's eyes lit up after seeing the change in his expression, he sighed with admiration: As expected of a Heavenly Ruler! Your senses are extremely powerful..."

Su Ling and the other women's expressions changed and caution flashed in their eyes, Yen Chen narrowed his eyes and asked: "Who are you, old man?"

The two men behind the old man frowned and looked at Yen Chen coldly, making his heart beat faster.
