Supreme Dragon Seal

Chapter 4: Bewitching And Alluring

Chapter 4: Bewitching And Alluring

Downstream of the blood river, the gathering of undead creatures here was not as dense as upstream, with only a few dozen of them scattered around.

Suddenly, a gust of clear wind blew, bringing a refreshing scent.

This breeze would seem ordinary outside, but appearing in the undead-infested mountain range filled with death and resentment, it seemed particularly strange.

Sure enough, as the clear wind approached the edges of the blood river, it suddenly turned into green wind blades, cutting the undead creatures into pieces.

From the nearby jungle, a graceful figure walked out.

It was an enchanting woman with an exquisite aura and a stunning face. Her eyes were shining with a bewitching charm, and her pupils were a rare blue color.

Blue-colored eyes generally dont give off a warm feeling. However, this touch of blue strangely showed an astonishing charm on this woman.

The woman wore a seemingly ordinary blue magic robe, but even the plain loose robe couldnt hide her impressive figure.

The robe reached her knees, and the skin below the knees was exposed. Her creamy white skin and round calves made people have the urge to hold them.

She held a magic wand with five crystal cores embedded on top, one of which was as big as a babys fist, emitting a hazy blue light.

The woman walked to the edge of the blood river, ignoring the scattered undead beads. She waved her wand, her lips moving slightly, and suddenly, a violent tornado formed, carrying the raging blood river water into the sky.

Rotting corpses, various unknown blood river creatures, precious gems, and beads that were hard to come by, all spun in the tornado.

The womans clothes fluttered, and her brown hair flew in disorder, but she stood there firmly, seeming to be looking for something.

After a long time, the woman let out a soft sigh, with a faint disappointment in her eyes.

Just as she was about to stop the magic incantation, her eyes suddenly moved, and she lightly pulled the wand. In the tornado, a disheveled figure was suddenly lifted by a great force.

Ahmiss, help me get rid of this damn ugly fish. The figure revealed itself to be a boy and he shouted loudly as soon as he landed. It turned out that a strange big fish, almost as long as him, was opening its sharp teeth to bite his head. He held an iron sword in his hand, pressing it against the fishs mouth, otherwise, he would have already become the fishs food.

The woman was stunned, obviously not expecting such a situation. She couldnt help but chuckle, her voice as pleasant as a silver bell. Then she pointed her finger, and a wind arrow pierced through the fishs head in an instant.

Qi Bei kicked the strange fish away with one foot and sat up, panting heavily. Thank you for saving me, missoh, you are so beautiful!

Is that so? The woman smiled and brushed a few strands of her hair. Every move of hers was filled with charm.

Of course. My name is Qi Bei. May I know your name, miss? Qi Bei nodded, but his left hand quietly reached behind him and clenched tightly.

My name is Yao Rao. The woman looked at Qi Bei with interest but was surprised to find that although the boy was stunned by her beauty, his eyes remained clear, not mesmerized by her charm.

Yao Rao? Ha, the name suits you well. Your magic is amazing. That tornado just now was advanced magic, right? You must be a very high-level mage. Qi Bei smiled, but his fist behind him clenched tighter. (TL Yao Rao means enchanting)

Haha, you have a good eye. Yao Rao chuckled, seemingly pleased to be called a high-level mage.

Being a mage is considered to be a noble profession. Among ten thousand people, only a few people have the natural talent for magic, and even if they do, the talent is divided into levels. Many mages spend their entire lives as only a novice mage.

The Mage ranks were: Apprentice Mage, Novice Mage, Intermediate Mage, Senior Mage, King-grade Mage, Earth-grade Mage, Heaven-grade Mage, and Saint Mage.

Like Mages who practiced magic, there were also people who practiced Battle Qi called Warriors.

The rank of a Warrior is divided into Apprentice Warrior, Novice Warrior, Intermediate Warrior, Senior Warrior, King-grade Warrior, Earth-grade Warrior, Heaven-grade Warrior, and Saint Warrior.

Do you have any food, Yao Rao? Qi Bei looked at Yao Rao eagerly. He had spent eight long months in the midst of life and death, living worse than a savage.

Yao Rao smiled and flicked her fingertips, and several delicious pastries appeared in front of Qi Bei.

Qi Beis eyes lit up and without caring for his image he began to wolf down the pastries one by one.

Yao Rao looked at Qi Bei with a smile on her lips. This was truly a strange boy. He seemed to have spent a considerable amount of time in the Undead Mountain Range, judging by the dead and murderous aura around him. However, there was no Magic or Battle Qi fluctuation on his body, and his smile was pure, proving that his heart had not been affected by anything.

Moreover, its been a long time since someone called her by her name so naturally, or rather, dared to do so.

Soon, these pastries, enough for her to eat for three days, were devoured by Qi Bei in a flash.

Wow, its so satisfying to have a good meal like this. Qi Bei patted his belly and laughed.

Yao Rao approached and took out a silk handkerchief, gently wiping the residue from the corners of his mouth.

Qi Bei looked up in astonishment and met Yao Raos soft and charming blue eyes, his heart suddenly feeling as if it had fallen into a fluffy cotton ball.

Is your name really Qi Bei? Yao Rao asked softly.

Of course, my name is Qi Bei. Qi Bei Nord. Qi Beis gaze became somewhat confused, and he unconsciously answered.

Qi Bei Nord? Yao Rao glanced at the antique signet ring in Qi Beis hand and realized that he was a direct descendant of the Nord family of the Golden Leaf Empire.

Why did you appear in the Undead Mountain Range? Yao Rao continued to ask.

I was abducted by a Necromancer. He died, and I had to survive on my own.

Are you a Mage or a Warrior?

Uh neither, I am a Martial Artist.

Martial Artist? Yao Rao was stunned, she had never heard of this term before.

What do Martial Artists practice?

Of course, its martial arts.

Yao Rao became even more confused. If it werent for her confidence in her mental magic, she would have thought that this guy was fooling her.

How do you practice?

Look at my hand. Qi Bei opened his left palm.

Yao Rao looked at it and saw that Qi Beis palm was empty, but she had noticed that he had hidden his left hand behind his back several times before.

Theres nothing there. She said in confusion.

Youll know when you touch it.

Yao Rao hesitated for a moment, then lightly touched his hand.

Qi Bei suddenly clenched his left hand, grasping Yao Raos small hand. Her hand was soft and tender as silk and felt like it could melt away with just one touch.

You really touched it. Qi Beis confused eyes suddenly became clear, and he looked at Yao Rao with a smile.

You Yao Rao was shocked, a green light flashed on her body, and she directly sent Qi Bei flying out.

However, she didnt notice that when Qi Bei held her hand, a golden light flashed in his palm, and her middle finger inexplicably went numb for a moment.
