Supreme Dragon Seal

Chapter 21: Return

Chapter 21: Return

Huaian Nord rushed into the Drunken Moon Garden, sniffed, and without another word, picked up a jar of Hundred Flowers Wine and gulped it down.

You brat, you really know how to enjoy yourself. His Majesty came to welcome you personally today, but you slipped away. The old man was furious. Huaian wiped his mouth and said.

Huaian McPhete spoke up.

McPhete, shut up. My little brother was bullied by the fat pig of the Reynard family here, and now you want to use wine and women to seduce him. Ill settle the score with you later. Huaian interrupted McPhete impolitely.

McPhete smiled bitterly. Who bullied whom? The kid of the Reynard family has already been beaten into a pulp. And as for seducing with wine and women, hasnt Qi Bei been seduced here enough? He even took away several beauties that McPhete had his eyes on previously.

Qi Bei, along with Jin Gang and Huan Ying, was dragged by his elder brother into a luxurious carriage headed for the royal capital city. He had decided to stay in Starry City on a whim because he didnt want to stand in the spotlight. Now after taking a break, he felt much better. Moreover, he had Jin Gang and Huan Ying, who were like treasures to him. As for brutally beating the fat pig of the Reynard family, that was such a trivial matter that he had long forgotten about it.

The carriage was extremely luxurious, with a living room, a bedroom, a dining room, and a bathroom. It was like a moving house, which was why eighteen horses with tremendous strength were needed to pull it.

Qi Bei lay half reclined on a comfortable and soft armchair, with his legs crossed and a satisfied look on his face as he enjoyed the red cherry handed to him by Huan Ying.

Thank you, Huan Ying suddenly said softly.

What for? Oh, I see, its about that fat pig. Qi Bei was puzzled for a moment, then suddenly realized.

Huan Ying nodded.

Hehe, silly girl, youre mine now. If he flirts with you, its like slapping me in the face. Of course, I have to teach him a lesson. Qi Bei smiled happily.

Huan Yings face turned red. Was she really his woman? He was such a shameless man. At best, she was just a maid by his side.

Huan Ying, where did you brother and sister come from? Qi Bei asked.

II dont want to lie to you, but I really cant say, Huan Ying bit her lip, feeling uneasy.

If you dont want to say, then dont say. I already know anyway. You came from the west, Qi Bei said confidently.

Huan Ying suddenly looked up and stared at Qi Bei.

Qi Bei knew he had guessed correctly from Huan Yings expression. He gently grabbed her hand and said, You are now part of my Nord family. You just have to trust me, and I will also trust you completely.

Huan Yings body shuddered and her eyes turned slightly red. Her brown pupils even flashed like emeralds. She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out.

Dont force yourself. When you really want to say, you can say it then, Qi Bei patted her hand and stood up, leaving the luxuriously extravagant carriage.

Huan Ying watched Qi Beis disappearing figure, with mist in her hazel eyes, but her lips were lightly raised, forming a beautiful smile.

The night was dark outside, with hundreds of black-armored guards protecting the carriage.

Qi Bei jumped onto a backup army horse and went to his elder brother Huaians side.

Big brother, what are you thinking about? Qi Bei smiled and asked when he saw his elder brothers deep gaze.

I saw Feng Ruoyun in the Drunken Moon Garden earlier, Huaian replied.

Feng Ruoyun? Thats my future sister-in-law! Isnt the Feng family guarding the Golden Fortress in the south? Could it be that she couldnt resist her spring feelings and wanted to come to see you early? Why didnt you go over and say hello? Qi Bei laughed.

She was wearing a veil and avoided me after seeing me. I cant be sure if it was her, Huaian said while shaking his head.

Qi Bei shrugged and didnt say anything more.

The sky was still dark, and the imperial city had not yet fully awakened. The imposing mansions on both sides of the imperial road that led to the castle were like lurking monsters, making people feel uneasy.

Suddenly, the peaceful atmosphere around the pathway was broken by the sound of galloping horses.

A luxurious carriage pulled by eighteen giant iron-hoofed horses raced through the path like a gust of wind and arrived at the gates of the Nord family mansion which was located on the right side of the imperial road in the blink of an eye.

The coachman on the carriage crouched down and shook the reins made of refined gold and iron in his hand. Immediately, all eighteen iron-hoofed horses neighed in unison and came to a steady stop.

With a creak, the six-yard-wide gate of the Nord family opened to both sides.

The carriage slowly entered, and the gate closed again.

At this moment, the first ray of dawn broke through the clouds, and a hint of pale light appeared in the eastern sky.

The mansions of the wealthy were built with multiple courtyards, pavilions, and towering buildings, making it easy to get lost if one was not familiar with the layout.

A wealthy mansion of this kind was like a miniature world, with both prosperity and desolation.

As the legitimate son of the family, Qi Bei, although known as a waste by others, had a powerful father and older brother, so he naturally received a large courtyard in the east, which was considered prestigious as the sun rises from the east.

Qi Beis courtyard was large, with front and back gardens, rockeries, flowing water, and dozens of side rooms.

After settling in Jin Gang and Huan Ying, Qi Bei wandered alone among the pavilions and towers. This place held some memories of the previous owner of this body, which made him feel familiar yet unfamiliar.

Suddenly, Qi Beis pupils shrank, and his body sprang up abruptly.

Almost at the same time, the place where he had just stood was hit by a blue-colored battle qi and turned into a pile of rubble.

A mysterious figure dressed in a black robe suddenly appeared out of thin air, brandishing a heavy sword that seemed to follow Qi Beis every move, unleashing powerful bursts of battle qi one after another.

Although Qi Bei was extremely fast, he was caught off guard by such a fierce attack. The person attacking him was definitely a king-grade warrior, and not an ordinary one, otherwise, he would not have been pushed back instantly.

Divine Dragon Slash! Qi Bei rolled over while dodging, then his body leaped up like a spring, and the tip of his black long sword suddenly flashed with a golden-colored battle qi.

This move was like a spear suddenly changing direction, with an extremely tricky angle and caught the opponent off guard.

The black-robed man obviously did not expect Qi Bei to have such a move, and his figure following behind him paused. He hurriedly blocked with his heavy sword.

At this moment, Qi Bei threw a pile of rubble toward the black-robed man.

As the black-robed man was shrouded in smoke and dust, Qi Beis body slid silently beneath him like a snake, and his black long sword suddenly burst with a golden light, piercing directly towards the black-robed mans lower body.

The black-robed man was horrified and suddenly covered his entire body with a layer of blue-colored battle qi armor.

Qi Beis golden-colored battle qi struck his armor, barely penetrating half an inch of the sword tip before getting stuck.

The black-robed man let out a low growl and thrust his heavy sword directly toward Qi Beis throat.

However, Qi Bei did not dodge, and the golden battle qi on his black long sword flickered. The battle qi armor on the black-robed mans lower body began to collapse.

The black-robed mans body stiffened, and the sword tip remained motionless at Qi Beis throat. He clearly felt a chilling sensation between his two balls.
