Chapter 207: Combat, Highest Category of Elements
Oblin Portag. Twenty Nihilir Wisps surrounded Erix.
He stood there with his arms crossed, his eyes focused, and a smile on his face.
The five Noble-order powerhouses around him held various weapons and unleashed their skills, hurling colorful projectiles of various shapes.
Ten enemy attacks, six Nihilir Wisps moved.
Whether it was a dark burning explosion, a frost mallet, a piercing fiery blue arrow, or the rest of the attacks…
All of them were devoured by the influence of Nihilir Wisps, just a mere one meter away from Erix.
Their attacks exploded, expanded, transformed, and displayed destruction, but they all happened in Space Limbo, covered in Nihilir aura.
Erix waved his hand, snuffing out all attacks by dispersing his wisps and cutting the connection, leaving those attacks to be devoured by Space Limbo. 'Hmmm, If I spend a bit more mana, I could use those attacks in another way.'
"Go ahead. One more time," Erix provoked enemies with a mocking grin, "That didn't even budge me."
*Crackle…Boom!*
On the other hand, Rin was displaying pure savageness by assuming playful offense.
All of her Blade attacks and projectiles were influenced by her control of Chronace flow, letting her freely control their flow of time.
She was leaving shallow cuts and injuries on everyone while none of them could dodge her attacks.
More than that, she could also affect the projectiles of her enemies with her Chronace Flow, and it was just a basic effect!
'Let's do something new,' Rin's eyes flickered with lightning before she turned on her attribute concept's passive influence, buffing her lightning as it turned black-red.
'The wind will carry it all,' Rin formatted, increasing aspects of wind in her Chronace Flow and condensing the Starlight into a dome around her.
Her eyes shined as she could control time and also flow it like wind!
All the projectiles slowed down as the Starlight danced around them. It not only affected the flow of time but also affected the time's course physically with the wind.
And with lightning, their course blitz.
*Shroownn!*
A Chronace storm formed around Rin, slowing down all the projectiles of enemies before changing their course with wind and speeding them up while tearing them down with tempestive lightning.
The five Noble-order powerhouses around him clearly felt their skills breaking down as they lost control.
But Rin still had control of her Chronace Storm!
With a wide grin and eyes dancing with lights, Rin's figure blurred, her speed untraceable.
Meanwhile, the storm chaotically unleashed the energy back, influenced by the offensive tempest of Chronace flow. This forced all enemies to be on the defensive as they enacted barriers…Alas.
Rin made a dash while in the motion of slashing to spin. Using Chronace Flow to adjust her flaws, she spun at her fastest and unleashed her Unlimited Blade Slashes, releasing thousands of dark red slashes crackling furious bolts towards the enemies.
Severums showered on all of them, slashing all of their defensive means and shredding every one of them to pieces in a mere four seconds!
Rin stopped as the atmosphere crackled with colorful neon lights around her due to the interaction of wind and lighting solidifying by her Chronace flow.
She took a deep breath and stabilized her state while her eyes danced with thrill. That was super fun!
'But I need stronger enemies.'
Rin turned to Erix and couldn't help but laugh at how Erix was bullying his enemies to learn more about Nihilir.
Erix had already found other applications of Nihilir.
The utility one was solid because his Nihilir flame could act as a teleport point as well.
Erix was speechless at how easy it was for him to remain unscathed.
"Bastard!"
Suddenly, Erix felt a tingling in his brain and turned to his left. A bald man with a dragon tattoo on his head roared before a golden spear with a draconic dark gold pattern conjured and shot toward Erix.
As usual, a Nihilir Wisp clashed into it with Erix's control. As with other skills, this spear should also teleport away, but it didn't and pierced the Nihilir Wisp without a stop before penetrating into Erix's left shoulder.
"Nice, what was that?" Erix curiously asked as he waved his hand and teleported a Nihilir Wisp directly beside the bald man. The wisp touched the man and instantly wrapped him into a dark purple aura before detaching from the material plane and entering Space Limbo.
Meanwhile, the enemy attacks he had frozen in Space Limbo, covered by his Nihilir aura, moved towards the rest of the enemies and exploded in the material plane, masking their vision and spreading chaotic energy due to the mixture.
But Erix could still sense everyone with his Spiritual Mystic Eye, and he only had to move his arms. The Sling Slot Gauntlet pumped up and down at lightning speed, shattering Erix's arms, but not before releasing over ten punch projectiles of Sling Shot punch 2.5 as they entered Wormholes and squarely landed on four enemies, exploding them to bits.
The remaining enemy was in the Space Limbo, and he could feel the terror of the place he was at.
Seeing Rin's and Erix's battle against his subordinate, the trapped leader had a look of despair on his face.
He was defeated in mere seconds as he failed to grasp the depth of his enemy's power.
Lily was in battle with the other two Royal-order powerhouses in a huge mist domain that she had created.
She alone was pressing them with her combat prowess and style, as most of their attacks missed while they mostly failed to get away from Lily's sneaky attacks.
"What are those powers?" the leader asked Lilith.
"Sometimes, you should also read some books or know more about what the highest category of elements looks and feel like," Lilith chuckled.
"Highest?" the man frowned before his eyes widened. "Y-You mean Super Exotic Elements?!"
"Those two…" the man looked at Rin and Erix, an intense look of envy bursting out of him.
"You will never reach their level," Lilith smiled and twirled her finger as thin blood strings wrapped around the man's neck before his entire body skewered out with dense dark red crystal spikes. Dead.
Erix and Rin had finished their battle, but Erix brought that bald man back to Lilith. "He used some kind of power that negated my Super Exotic element's energy completely."
"I saw that," Rin nodded as she rubbed her chin, "It was strange."
"Oh?" Lilith was surprised.
"I know that elements have weaknesses to each other, but Super Exotic Elements shouldn't have, right?" Erix curiously asked before he slapped the man's bald head.
"Speak. Tell us in detail."
