Chapter 660: Chapter 654: Returning Home – Part 2
“Alright, we can leave now. Are you planning to stay here? In my next step, I think I will have to return to the Death Star. I would like Jasmine Davis to escort me back,” Finn Lewis pondered before asking. Finn Lewis wasn’t certain about when exactly Caleb Shaw’s spaceship would be delivered, so it would be best for Jasmine to escort him back near Earth for the spaceship handover.
If you calculate time, it seems there isn’t much time left from the estimated month.
“Your Royal Highness, if you plan on returning to the Death Star, I imagine the regular channels might not be feasible. How about you get in touch with Jasmine Davis and ask her for a technique to bring you back? Even though she is not permitted to present herself openly within Galactic Federation, there shouldn’t be an issue with finding a small spaceship to operate within their territories,” Dunn Monty contemplated before stipulating.
“Hmm, that could work too,” Finn Lewis thought for a moment but didn’t reject the idea.
“Then I will reach out to her,” Dunn Monty immediately voiced.
“Are you sure?” At this instant, Jasmine Davis, who was located light years away, looked astonished at Thomas Calvin in front of her. For Jasmine Davis, the recent period resembled a rollercoaster ride. If a person with heart problems were to experience the ups and downs, they would certainly have a heart attack.
“Of course, I’m certain. These are Mr. Lewis’s orders,” Thomas Calvin calmly responded. He had already seen Finn Lewis’s extravagant gestures. However, the dumbfounded one was Jasmine Davis, because she couldn’t figure out the reason behind Finn Lewis’s actions.
Did he genuinely have a crush on her? The playfulness could buy a lot of beautiful women in the entire federation. When Finn Lewis initially joked about it, she certainly didn’t take it seriously. Not to mention, they didn’t know each other before and if there was a basis for a relationship, it would be a different story. Without any emotional basis, such things were just considered humor from Jasmine Davis’s perspective.
Being a pirate leader wasn’t that easy. Jasmine Davis had experienced similar situations numerous times. She wasn’t a naïve little girl; she had faced storms more fierce than many men.
Thus, Jasmine Davis couldn’t figure out the reason behind Finn Lewis’s actions. Did she have any resources to exploit? Apparently not. Moreover, considering the procession on that day, Jasmine Davis knew that Finn Lewis was a significant figure, or else the Galactic Federation’s oversight bureau would not have sent an entire fleet to extract Finn Lewis from the Death Star.
Didn’t you see the despised powers of the Death Star hold their tongues when the oversight bureau’s fleet arrived? Jasmine Davis was very aware of the strength of an oversight bureau fleet. Finn Lewis, a significant figure, was offering her such valuable gifts?
Only by calculating the gift values based on the auction prices, an estimation would suggest their worth cross a ten million mark. What a big chunk of money? If this amount of money falls into the wrong hands, even a top-ranked pirate gang like Shadow would be unable to resist the attack from other mercenary groups and eventually perish.
Money surely had the potential to sway people. Therefore, Jasmine Davis was unable to comprehend and dared not think about it. She was genuinely afraid Finn Lewis wanted her to do something. Her crew wasn’t a top three pirate gang.
“Are you sure he didn’t say anything else?” Jasmine Davis asked with gritted teeth. As for the stuff, why refuse it if it’s free? Stella’s pirate’s life wasn’t that great, already barely able to keep going. Upon receiving these items, she could continue surviving, and the power could even be enhanced.
“He didn’t say anything else—only that these items were given to you,” Thomas Calvin affirmed by nodding.
“Alright, fine. If he is courageous enough to send, I am daring enough to receive,” Jasmine Davis gritted her teeth, directly agreeing to take the gifts.
But, to Jasmine Davis’s surprise, after staying on the Death Star for two days, she received a communication from Dunn Monty. Hearing Dunn Monty’s request, Jasmine Davis was slightly bewildered, “Are you sure that is his only request?”
“Yes, just a simple task. There are no more requests,” Dunn Monty answered very crisply.
“Alright then, considering the gifts he sent, I can do him this favor. However, my spaceship can’t directly enter the Galactic Federation’s territory. He first has to reach the Redglow Star on the edge of the federation. I will dispatch a spaceship there to pick up Maddox Mad,” Jasmine Davis pondered before readily agreeing.
“No problem!” Redglow Star was dominated by other nobles but still belonged to the Galactic Federation’s Administrative Star. Therefore, there were public spaceships from the Capital Star Zone that could directly reach the Redglow Star. It would only require two warp jumps and almost four days to arrive.
“Okay, I will dispatch a spaceship to pick him up quickly. Please have him reach Redglow Star within five days,” Jasmine Davis declared with ease.
After Dunn Monty finished the communication and reported the result to Finn Lewis, Finn Lewis meditated a bit before decisively saying, “We will leave the Capital Star Zone now.” Finn Lewis currently had no power in the Capital Star Zone but secretly communicated with Zero regarding Luna Starfield’s personal intelligence system’s functioning.
After receiving ten thousand points from Finn Lewis, Zero reassured him about Luna Starfield having no issues and thus it was safe to use. This comforted Finn Lewis a lot. Although Finn Lewis did not wish to stay in the Capital Star Zone, he instructed Zero to deploy a fraction of the spores on a planet few light-years away from the Galactic Federation’s Capital Star Zone.
It was a force hidden in advance, Finn Lewis left instructions to the worker bees within these spores to develop covertly beneath the surface of these uninhabited planets.
However, just as Finn Lewis was ready to leave the Capital Star Zone, two humanoids arrived with a woman. Recognizing the woman, Finn Lewis was startled. This woman was none other than the one he had saved on the Death Star. Initially, Finn Lewis was extracted directly from the Death Star by the inspection bureau, so he did not have time to arrange for her. He assumed she would stay on the Death Star, so how did she end up here?
“Your Highness, this lady was yours, left on the Death Star. The inspection bureau dispatched personnel to escort her out and have now delivered her to you,” the humanoid leading the group respectfully addressed Finn Lewis.
Finn Lewis was somewhat speechless, what do they mean by ‘she was mine’? Even though this woman was attractive enough, Finn Lewis genuinely did not want to bring her home. This would be a great injustice to Kay Lee and then there was Emma Lewis. Finn Lewis didn’t know how to explain it to Kay Lee, now with another woman. However, since she had been extracted from the Death Star, Finn Lewis couldn’t neglect her.
