“Too easy… no good…” Wei Wufu walked over, pulled the Alloy Blade from the trunk, and sheathed it.

He reached out to take the trident from Lin Shen’s hand, stood at a distance exactly one trident throw plus an arm’s length from the large tree, gripped the end of the trident with one hand, and suddenly began to stab rapidly.

The trident, like a machine gun firing, lightning-fast thrusts back and forth, pierced countless times in an instant, each time accurately hitting the very center.

“Ten strikes… ten points…” Wei Wufu stepped back after finishing, handing the trident back to Lin Shen.

“Somewhat interesting.” Lin Shen accepted the trident and then moved to the spot where Wei Wufu had just stood, imitating his posture, he held the end with one hand, and suddenly exerted his strength, thrusting the trident toward the circular target on the tree.

As a result, this stab hit only seven points, and the blade did not even penetrate.

Lin Shen hitting seven points didn’t mean he had the ability of seven points, it was because he couldn’t control the landing spot of the blade, which randomly pierced the seven-point area.

For Lin Shen, this trident was too heavy, and with the strong gravity of this planet, he could manage wielding the trident with both hands, barely cope with holding the middle, but holding the end like this was a bit beyond his control and strength.

That stab was already down to an explosive release of strength, not to mention control.

Whether he could strike ten times in a row like Wei Wufu was not something Lin Shen could guarantee, let alone with such speed and accuracy.

“This is really interesting.” Lin Shen tried to stab a few more times but couldn’t control where the blade fell at all, one time he used too much force and slid off to one side, not only failing to score but also missing the tree entirely.

Lin Shen’s performance had the crowd outside laughing.

Everyone thought that someone like Lin Shen, who couldn’t endure hardship, would probably give up soon, and later they would see what excuse he would come up with for not practicing.

Indeed, it wasn’t long before Lin Shen set the trident aside and sat down, ceasing to practice.

Contrary to what they thought, he wasn’t lacking in patience and didn’t want to practice; rather, his wrist and arm were so sore that he couldn’t exert any more effort and couldn’t continue practicing.

Although he was no longer practicing, Lin Shen didn’t say he wouldn’t practice anymore as he had done in the past. Instead, he was thinking in his heart about how he could control the trident.

What he most lacked now was definitely strength; without sufficient strength, he couldn’t steadily control the trident, but thinking back on Wei Wufu’s movements and the way he exerted force, it seemed that controlling the trident didn’t depend on sheer strength but rather involved a clever use of power.

Closing his eyes, Lin Shen repeatedly recalled Wei Wufu’s movements, feeling more and more certain there was a cleverness to it, and that strength was not everything.

While circulating Evolution Theory, pondering all the while, Evolution Theory effectively alleviated the soreness in his arms, and when he felt somewhat better,

Lin Shen stood up to try again, but the result was still unsatisfactory; this time, his success rate with hitting the tree had fallen even lower than before.

He stabbed five times in total, and three of those didn’t hit the tree at all.

“It seems Mr. Tian is fair after all, playboys may have everything, but talent is something innate that money can’t buy.”

“What do you guess, when will he give up this time?”

“It should be about time, he’ll likely give up very soon.”

“I’m really curious, what excuse will he come up with later.”

“Actually, I think the move Wei Wufu pulled off is really not easy, if it were us, we’d probably be much the same as Lin Shen.”

A few good friends gathered to watch the sky projection and casually discuss the performance of those involved, which seemed to have become a part of many people’s daily routine.

Lin Shen sat down to rest again. He looked even worse than before because he had tried to imitate Wei Wufu’s techniques, but unfortunately, it wasn’t that easy. His control got even poorer before he could master the skills.

However, Lin Shen had no intention of giving up; he was actually quite patient with things that interested him.

After resting for a while, just as Lin Shen was about to give it another try, he saw a figure approaching from a distance.

Both men stood up to look and recognized the arrivals as Lu Qing and the Lu Family’s people.

Wei Wufu and Lin Shen both felt it was strange; they had left only a few hours ago, so why had they returned so quickly? Could something have happened?

Sure enough, it wasn’t long before Lu Qing and the others had run up close, many of them gasping for breath.

“What happened?” Lin Shen asked, noting their condition and the lack of any wounds, which didn’t suggest an attack.

“We encountered a Crystal-based Creature that looked very strong on the other side. We were afraid of disturbing it, so we came back first,” Zheng Yan explained hastily.

“Very strong? How strong?” Lin Shen frowned as he asked; Zheng Yan’s description seemed odd to him.

“It was tremendously huge,” Zheng Yan said offhandedly.

As Zheng Yan’s explanation was hazy, Lin Shen wanted to inquire more when suddenly, he saw a figure flying in from the sky in the distance.

Realizing that Lin Shen and Wei Wufu’s expressions were off, everyone turned to look and immediately saw a blurry figure in the far sky speeding towards them.

Because of the distance, they couldn’t make out the features of the figure, but from the pair of Angel’s Wings and the white robe, they could already confirm his identity.

“A robber Angel!” someone called out, trembling, likely recalling the fear of being dominated by such a robber Angel.

By then, people all over the world watching were in uproar, and many hot-tempered ones were cursing Zheng Yan for his shamelessness.

Having been robbed by an Angel himself, he couldn’t stand to see others fare well and went so far as to betray his own teammates—a true scumbag and disgrace.

Ye Yuzhen watched with a clenched heart, her palms sweaty from gripping tightly.

Most people were unaware of what a Tian Xin was, but Ye Yuzhen knew that Tian Xin wasn’t an Angel at all but a rather famous member of the Celestial Race in the universe.

Celestials are born of Crystal Base, and even without ascending, the combat prowess of an adult member of the Celestial Race is incomparable to that of a regular Crystal-based Creature.

Lin Shen’s Pet Capsule Launcher was also something Ye Yuzhen recognized; from her perspective, it was indeed a good piece. However, its success in killing the Mutant Sea Demon God General had involved some luck and the advantage of a surprise attack.

To use that Pet Capsule Launcher to kill an adult Celestial would be much more difficult than killing the Mutant Sea Demon God General.

After all, every member of the Celestial Race had a Pet Capsule Launcher and were more adept with it than humans, making it unlikely that Lin Shen would get another chance to surprise an opponent, nor would a Celestial just stand there like the Mutant Sea Demon God and let him shoot.

What’s more, Lin Shen no longer had the Gold Crystal Horned Cow and the Red Jade Lion to distract the enemy, whereas the Celestial had snatched many human pets, including one of Zheng Yan’s Red Jade Lions.

“How are you going to deal with this?” Bai Shenfei stood in front of the railing on the rooftop, watching Lin Shen’s screen with interest.
