The Ascender snorted coldly, intending to let the Life Base Sword pierce through Ouyang Yudu's body and strike him yet again.

But the sword, trembling incessantly within Ouyang Yudu's chest, failed to fly out. Thin streams of pale red blood flowed down the blade, not dropping off but instead coating the Life Base Sword.

The color of Ouyang Yudu's blood was frighteningly light, a mere hint of pink, almost unnoticeable as blood.

The Ascender surged upward, trying to ascend into the sky to widen the gap between him and Ouyang Yudu.
