131 Cinder - Chapter 131

Cinder on the base grounds, where is the big battle between enemy and members are all happened. She slowly walks in the road as she looks around of herself. Clear sadness can be seen in her eyes.

"Too much blood."

She thought and whispers to herself. The corpses are all over the ground. The members of Light Of Marven slowly carries the corpses other places where they will be mass burial for all the death. Cinder sat down one of the benches and looked at the blood on the ground and on the green and beatiful garden of the base.

"This is not something I expected."

Cinder is no pushover, being a Deep Fire Level being she had her times where she battled for too long to remember. Considering that she comes from a mage-warrior background where she honed her skills in real death and life situations not in the safe walls of a college or organization. She is accustomed to seeing things like this.

It is just that seeing the members of her organization on the ground, lifeless, soulless, made her think about what she had done.

She did not wanted to show her power, she did not wanted to give enemy any more information. The reasons are simple for her to not to enter battle but she needed to give too much in return.

-

Ariet comes to her side as he too looks around of himself. His face has some cuts and bruises and his clothes are messed up. He looks at Cinder and then let out a cold breath as he speaks.

"150 Torch-level members, all of the candle-level members, 500 individual in total has been killed."

"Treasury is left un-touched, the belongings of Torch-Level Members and Candle-Level Members are taken, the total loss is about 700 Gold Coins"

Cinder listened without saying anything. "700 Gold Coins you say." she looks at Ariet as she asks.

Ariet nodded and then spoke again.

"We have killed, 80 of Torch-Level Advanced to Peak members of them. It is just weird."

Cinder showed a smirk and then spoke.

"You noticed it too."

Ariet nodded and spoke.

"700 Gold Coins and harming us to great extent is no joke, but it is still not worth 80 Torch-Level Advanced beings, losing this kind of small and strong army is means losing more than 700 Gold Coins.

"It is weird I say because, enemy has no gain from his."

Cinder at this time noticed something in the words of Ariet and asked.

"What if, enemy did not gave too much thought on what kind of people they sent and do not care about if they die or not."

Ariet gulped and asked.

"But, how, for every organization that we know of, Torch-Level Advanced members is worth too much,"

"Why they would be sending 80 of their torch-level advanced beings to die for just 700 gold coins and harming us."

Cinder shook her head and added.

"I am not saying that. I saying that, what if 80 enemy members we think of are actually not real beings but some sort of artifical beings that they can create with ease as long as they have gold coins and resources."

At this time, Ariet eyes showed a clear understanding and then spoke.

"I will contact with Blue Bird Empire and Dream Lord Swort Art."

"If you are right on what you are saying, the enemy behind this attack should be"

Cinder added.

"It is Genesis !"

Ariet takes a cold breath hearing the word of Genesis. He understands them and know what kind of organization they are, not to mention the fact that they are able to send too many strong fighters and warriors to their death for just harming them and earning 700 Gold Coins. All of these things points to them.

"But I do not understand" Ariet thought, I do not think there is important reason for them to attack us. What they were seeking, just gold coins, there are different places and different organizations that would be easier to attack us. Ariet thought, the silence covered the area, other than the sounds of corpses being carried and the morning lights starts to shine. There is no other sound.

Cinder spoke.

"I believe they do not have big motives for attacking us." Ariel furrowed his brows and asked.

"Why then."

Cinder smiled and shook his head as she speaks.

"You are looking the things from a simple perspective, Ariet"

Ariet shows a confused face and did not understand what Cinder meant. Noticing the confusing emotions of Ariet, Cinder explains as she put her hands on the bench, looking a like small girl.

"They are Genesis, not your run of a mill evil organization."

"If they see a profit, they will take it."

"In their mind, Light Of Marven a place for them to make profit. If what they did here gives them profit more than they spend."

"They do not need any other reason to not to do it."

"It is that simple."

Ariet sits down on the bench after hearing the words from Cinder. "She is right" he thought."They are evil beings with a purpose and seeking for profit and more resources" "If they take the risk and knew that they will be gaining something from this battle."

"They do not have any other reason not to attack. 700 Golds and the damage done to organization enough for them sacrifice 80 Torch-Level Advanced Beings, there is no question needed to be answered about their motive."

At his time, Cinder gets up and speaks.

"Use Emergency Fund to give some gold coins to families of people who lost their lives."

"Use some of them re-build the place that harmed."

"Then, call back all the members outside, we need to be staying in the base for the time being.

"Two months later, start recruitment process, lower the price of the monthly payments of our members and increase the sales and price of our outside places."

"We need funds to rebuild and things to do."
